You see, every craft and profession comes with expectations. Being an entertainer comes with some crashing expectations and Vanessa Mdee isn’t the only one to intimate this. Khaligraph Jones even put out a song touching on the subject matter but he sought to blame externalities for the fact.

The normal pressure comes from expectations of success. You see, fans have become enamoured by ostentatious displays of wealth. Our culture steadily trended towards artists having to splash money around as an indicator of their success. They have to dress up in the best threads from some of the most expensive labels.

They have to drive the latest cars and have to drink top-shelf beverages whenever they are out painting the town red. They have to live in the best parts of town and have fully decked-out houses with the latest electronics. And what’s worse is artists who have enjoyed some level of success like Vanessa Mdee would be compared to their contemporaries. and that introduces the concept of “fake it till you make it”.

As a result, a lot of our celebrities are wallowing in debt. And they are pressed to keep acting like they are successful so this debt isn’t like a momentary condition in their lives, it is a constant, everyday existence. And that debt becomes crushing. So a lass like Vanessa Mdee would seek refuge from that reality through alcohol.

And it is also at these desperate times that things often get even more bizarre as entertainers, desperate to salvage what is left of their financial situations, desperate for attention and airplay, desperate for views on Youtube turn to the occult and witchcraft. And whether or not Vanessa Mdee believes the occult has any power, it is clear she is familiar with this side of desperation. But at the end of the day, what remains is the fact that all this comes from desperation for success.

Instead, they double down and dig in to take on more punishment. And they borrow more money to maintain the facade. But at the end of the day, they choose to be gluttons for punishment. And at the end of the day, it’s interesting to see that Vanessa Mdee hasn’t influenced her boyfriend, Rotimi to see things from her perspective and quit showbiz…

Rotimi and Vanessa Mdee are currently a couple but Vanessa Mdee and Juma Jux were a couple for a long time. When the relationship ended, Vanessa Mdee didn’t seem to have taken things well. She was a shell of her former self but Juma seemed to be on the up and up. His next girlfriend was even a sexy exotic IG model.

But when Vanessa Mdee decided to move on, she did so in a big way that was hailed by East African women as a win -she landed Rotimi, a singer and actor who had a role in the popular 50 Cent show Power.

Rotimi has gotten the 32-year-old remains of a woman who gave her all to her ex. To her credit, Vanessa Mdee is the type to give her all. And it was always reported that she did exactly that with Juma Jux.

The flipside of such a lass is the fact that she gets burnt out when said relationship doesn’t work out. And you can argue that this is the situation that faced Vanessa Mdee after her long on-again, off-again relationship died.

You see, Juma Jux and Vanessa had a very passionate relationship that saw her give her all to the lad. He would get backlash whenever the couple were off with people assuming he was at fault and she would defend him. She not only threw herself into trying to salvage the relationship but her youth aswell and the best of her beauty. And now, as a 32-year-old woman, painfully aware of her biological clock ticking away, she cannot give Rotimi her carefree self. And this in and of itself is the reason why he is getting a raw deal.

And as I type away on my laptop about this fact, I cannot help but shudder when I think of the possibility of her and Rotimi’s relationship failing and her being forced to search out yet another man. That poor man will be hammered with a bevvy of not so subtle hints of the fact she is rushing to get married. But what do I know?

Vanessa Mdee has proved that love is a beautiful thing with Rotimi. Although it is in good faith, there is a problem. The beauty queen has had the best opportunity in her music career to go international.

Imagine you are the one dating power star, Rotimi? Would you have taken advantage of the large following he has? First, Vanessa Mdee is a brand on her own, a brand that she has the best opportunity to grow.

In my honest opinion, it is high time that Mdee opened her eyes and stop being fooled by love. I mean she is all over Instagram parading Rotimi.

Rotimi is is a brand and a big icon in the US. He is a name that will greatly push Vanessa Mdee’s music abroad. Who in this time an era keeps their fruits in one basket.

Honestly, I feel that Vanessa Mdee is losing as an artiste. Look at her fellow artistes like Tanasha who have taken advantage of their lovers’ popularity.

I know m, majority of you will say am jealous, but it is time Vanessa came back to her senses. She has on a couple of times accompanied her star lover to perform abroad but not at one time has she performed alongside him.

In addition, I have not seen any dumb Tanzania artiste. Vanessa Mdee will be the first one and she needs to act fast. You’ll agree with me that she is committing music suicide. When is the last time she even released a single since dating Rotimi?

I hope she will read this and act accordingly. Your thoughts also count. She needs to stop going to live radios to parade her lover and start marketing her music.

Everyone is complaining that Beyonce ignored Kenyan and East Africa in general for her new album The Gift.

But according to Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee, Beyonce’s team actually was in talks with a few East African names for the album but the talks didn’t materialize to anything.

The singer shared in an interview with Lil Ommy TV saying that Beyonce’s teamed reached to her and she was even shortlisted for the album but doesn’t know what happened.

“I was shortlisted. I remember that there was a conversation. I never heard of it again and do not know what happened. I am not mad that Beyoncé worked on the album, because when you think about it, for those of us who travel, the only music they know about is Afro-Beat from West Africa.” she said.

She went on to add that since the movie was based in Kenya, she really expected an artist from East Africa to appear.

“We, in EA, are not in that category, we do Afro Pop. Generally speaking, we are all in the umbrella of ‘African Music,’ unfortunately, they do not differentiate the many genres. Think about it, the essence of Simba-  a lion- is a huge East African attraction and it beats me why Beyoncé did not feature us,” she said.

Vanessa Mdee says ‘Moyo’ unanikosea in her new audio. The single comes in a few days after her Collaboration with Jux. The Tanzanian singer and songwriter has been doing well in her music career.

Moyo is a song that talks about how the heart is leading her into doing things. I’d say that it is like the head is not thinking or functioning anymore.

Vanessa went through a nasty break up recently. Something that will probably think it is the break up that inspired the song. You know matters of the heart.

You will feel the emotions in the song when she says that the heart is offending her even though she spends time with it. Could this be symbolic?

Audio Production

Vanessa Mdee is known to do some good work. It is no doubt that Moyo is not an exception. It has been brought out in the best way possible. Also, you’ll realize that the song is calming and slow, by this I mean that sound is well balanced and in line with the beats.

The lady is talented and the producer didn’t fail her. Moyo has been Produced by S2Kizzy from Pluto Records.

In addition to the good production, Vanessa has delivered this song in the best way possible. Moyo lyrics are well organized and easy to sing along. She has done so well and has brought out the emotions fully something that explains what the heart is doing to her.

There are lines that I wouldn’t want you to miss;

Moyo unanikosea,Moyo unanikosea,Nakaa na wewe, natembea na wewe,Nalala na wewe, bado unanikosea. I know you feel the vibe in this stanza. I know you also feel like the heart is offending you at times.
Also, in this line;Umeniadhibu chozi tiba yangu (we haya),Umeziharibu zote hisia zangu (si sawa);Feels more like a heartbreak here.
Moyo mbona umenitoa chambo ooh In addition to that message, Vanessa has used rhyme in this song. It gives it a new different feel. Also, it is through the rhyme and repetition that emphasizes on the title  of the song Moyo.
Last but not least, I’d say that the audio is dope and I give the song a rating of 6/10.

Jux and Vanessa team up for new Jam “Sumaku”

Few weeks after the break up rumors between Tanzanian RnB singer Juma  Jux and Vanessa Mdee  made rounds on the internet, we now have a new song from the two. The truth about their break up  or make up is still among many.

But hey they have a new song for us titled,” Sumaku”. Sumaku loosely translates to magnet.

This is serenade that we will be enjoying for the longest time.This is the lead song from Jux for his debut studio project.

According to Jux , this song is second among the songs set for his new album. The song  speaks of the irresistible attraction and magic of love between committed partners.

At beginning of the song, Vanessa Mdee mentions that the song was produced by S2Kizzy , a beat producer from Tanzania.

With such juice fans are anticipating on the video as these couple was the ultimate couple goals before they broke up.We hope the in the video they bring out the chemistry as the fans anticipate.

Juma’s highly anticipated star-studded album will crown an already  successful year for the R&B king. He also marked his debut on one of Africa’s biggest  music show, Coke Studio Africa 2019 in February performing alongside Mozambique’s Shellsy Baronet.

Tanzanian songbird Vanessa Mdee has finally reacted to her sister’s, Mimi Mars, statement which she confirmed her break-up with longtime boyfriend Juma Jux.

Speaking to Global Publishers, Mdee shot down the rumors that the two have been having issues.

“Hivi kwa nini watu wanapenda kufuatilia maisha ya watu jamani, halafu kitu ambacho huwa sipendi kabisa kukizungumza ni kuhusu hayo mambo, hebu tuzungumzie ishu za kazi basi, kwa sababu mimi na Jux hatuna tatizo lolote,” said Vanessa.

Rumors

The statement comes just weeks after Mimi Mars said that the two are no longer together and can’t marry.

“Mimi ninavyojua hawako pamoja, kulikuwa na issues hapo katikati, sasa ivi ni washikaji tu. Kila nilipomuona Jux, Vanessa alikuwepo,” said Mimi Mars.

In 2017, the love birds went separate ways after a nasty break-up but later on rekindled their love, in January 2018.

 

TV host Mimi Mars denies being ‘the snake’ behind Vanessa Mdee and Jux break up

Tanzanian singer and TV host Marianne Mdee has come out to shoot down rumors that she’s behind her sister’s Vanessa Mdee relationship issues with rapper Juma Jux.

Speaking in an interview on Wasafi FM, Mimi Mars shared that the two had problems but she wasn’t the root.

“Hapana kusema ukweli hapana watu mbona, wale wanawachana mara mingi sana jamani kwanini mimi ni wekwe humo kati. Nakuaje chanzo? Hamna wala hata sinanga usemi kati ya yeye na yeye kwa hiyo hainihusu kabisa. Sio ukweli kabisa,” said Mimi.

Last week, on Mseto with Mzazi Willy, Mimi Mars said that her sister has been avoiding home since the break up.

“Kusema ukweli bwana mimi sijui I don’t like to meddle in people’s business. Kuna tofauti nimeona because Vee naye amekuwa hayupo muda mrefu so sijui labda akirudi,” she said.

No wedding

When asked about whether Mdee and Jux will walk down the aisle, Mimi didn’t mince her words.

“As husband and wife no. Kwanza tuanzie do they even want to get married? Maanake hawaonekani kama wanaelekea kwenye ndoa ni watu amabao wanaonekana wataendelea hivo kudate and then ikitokea labda kuna mtoto haya sawa. You know wote wawili hawajakaa kama watu wa ndoa sijui harusi,” added Mimi Mars.

Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee and boyfriend Juma Jux are still very much in love.

Speculation that the two have split has been a trending topic after fans noted Mdee has neither been “spending time” with her boyfriend nor posting photos on social media together as she once did.

Mdee, however, explained that the two are working on different projects that have separated them a reason why they are not spending time as much as they did when they were touring together.

“Jux and I cannot be together all the time. There are times when our individual work projects consume our energies. When we’re not spotted together, a section of our fans tend to think that we’ve split up,” she told Motomoto News in an interview. 

Love affair

Vanessa and Jux got back together in August last year after a brief break up. The two grew stronger since then and their national music tour together mid this year was a huge success. In the interview, she denied that their love has grown stale just months after the rekindle.

“Let me clarify that Jux and I are still together, and there is nothing that has caused a strain in our love life. We are working hard to ensure we keep our brands at the top,”she added.

Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee was one pissed lady on Monday after being denied entry into a government building because of her dress code.

The singer took to social media to rant after she was blocked from accessing the building for wearing a miniskirt that wasn’t even that short.

“Only in Tanzania is my skirt which is at my knees too short to enter a public corporate building. This is incredible.” she said.

Regulation

Tanzania lately has been tightening the rules as they hope to fight the increased cases of immorality in the country.

The government as been keenly monitoring celebs in the country and regulating how they behave in public.

Singer Vanessa Mdee, a Tanzanian, is set to take her country and the better part of East Africa international after signing a lucrative deal worth millions.

The singer, who is currently winding down her “In Love and Money Tour” together with her boyfriend Juma Jux, sisters Mimi Mars and Nancy Hebron formerly known as Tero Mdee, has now joined Universal Music Group, the largest music company in the world.

Rumor has it that Vanessa Mdee and her ex boyfriend Jux Juma did not part ways well.

This could be true as the two have not been showing any signs of friendship through their social media pages and after Idris Sultan shared a certain video of Vanessa Mdee walking away after Romy Jons mentioned that her ex would be at the same party she was attending…she walks away proving that there was something wrong going on.

Anyway, after dropping Kisela – those close to Vanessa Mdee promoted her song through their Instagram page and once again, Jux was not among them. However, now that he has a new song out Veemoney has chosen to share the songs poster through her Instagram page – something we never saw coming.

This comes shorty after Vanessa Mdee was linked to west African singer, Runtown who appears to be very close with the petite Tanzanian singer.
