Timmy Tdat opens up about his failed journey to becoming a Catholic priest

Timmy Tdat would have been a Catholic priest but God had other intention for him. The rapper reveals he dropped out of a seminary to venture into music.

It’s hard to think of any Kenyan rapper who can make a reputable priest. Interestingly Timmy Tdat was enrolled in a seminary and would have become a priest if he didn’t drop out.

Timmy opened up about his failed journey to becoming a priest an interview with a local daily. The ‘We’ll Be Ok’ rapper reveals that his late father wanted him to be a priest.

I served as an altar boy for as long as I can remember

Timmy says he was raised in a staunch catholic family. He explains that his late father made him attend all the three masses in church because he wanted him to be a priest in future.

“As a young boy he would make sure I attended all the three masses at our church and take notes on how they were conducted. I served as an altar boy for as long as I can remember but my passion wasn’t in it. Still, I believe that if my dad was here with me today, he would still be proud of the man I have become,” said Timmy Tdat.

The rapper was enrolled into a seminary but dropped out and he became a tout. Timmy also sold mitumba clothes before he ventured into music.

Timmy Tdat openly thirsts over Mr Seed’s hot girlfriend on Instagram

I know boys will always be boys but as much as they mean to joke around… they never try to lust over each other’s women (maybe in private) but not on Instagram comments…I mean isn’t there supposed to be a ‘bro code’ for such things?

Unfortunately I wouldn’t know this but my workmates say this is a level of disrespect that they would not put up with.

It is disturbing to see a man ask another man if they would share his ‘main’ chick leave alone a friends with benefits however seems that Timmy Tdat does not know this.

Mr Seed’s girlfriend, Nimu Gachuiru,

I came across some shocking comments he left under a photo shared by gospel singer Mr Seed who is currently signed under EMB records. One can clearly see the controversial singer asking Mr Seed if they would ‘share’ (very disturbing)husband woman but since it is in public the gospel singer plays the safe card as he politely jokes back…but deep down we know it’s not funny!

But in a way I am not surprised to see the singer pull such a move. Have a look at their comments and be the judge;

Word on the streets is that Dush Nyau hitmaker had some trouble at the airport after the police stopped him – to search his luggage as he was believed to be carrying a gun.

I made a point to reach out to the singer hoping to find out what had really happened.

Speaking to him on phone, Timmy Tdat confirmed that indeed he had trouble at the airport and from how he saw the whole situation is that they could have suspected him due to the tattoos on his body and the fact that he also has dreadlocks. Mmh do we call this discrimination?

Anyway, away from that the singer is currently planning on releasing new projects that will see him own 2017 like he did last year thanks to his several hit songs “Dush Nyau, usinikazie among others.

TImmy Tdat to headline this weekends biggest event, a never forget gig!

For those of you who believe that Kenyan artists cannot hold a crowd, take note that you are wrong. So far we have had the likes of Khaligraph Jones and many perform at the Natives club each weekend and the turn out has been amazing.

This coming weekend a better and way talented artist is set to bring down the popular club with an amazing show that will not only leave you speechless but worth your time. Well this artist is none other than Timmy Tdat who be performing his popular songs while Fred Omondi will be in the house ready to drop hilarious jokes all through the night as the MC.

What makes it even better is the fact that this show is totally free and fans get great performances from both popular artists and newbies who always prove that they can hold a large crowd.

” If you listen to some of my songs keenly, you will discover that they have gospel messages” Claims Timmy Tdat after attending the Groove awards nomination party

Timmy Tdat is one of those artists we know are full of controversy and if I am not wrong, the singer enjoys the attention too. Well, after dropping hit after hit seems that he is now planning to Join the likes of Willy Paul and Bahati – if this is true then will I be wrong to assume that everyone is investing where the money is?

The singer who recently released a new song dubbed OYOO featuring Susumila joined the gospel artists and fans at the Groove awards nomination party that went down a few days ago. From what Pulse reports, the singer was seen calmly seated as he paid attention to the sermon and activities that were going down during the event.

Not that it is a big deal but just like he put it, God can speak through anyone and he might be the chosen one…whp knows?

“God speaks in diverse ways. Who says God can’t use me to pass his message.”
