Terryanne Chebet lost her job at Citizen TV in 2016 a thing that left her devastated. The former news anchor who is now a CEO at Fanaka Television, says that losing that job ended being a blessing in disguise.
Speaking during an interview with Malkia Africa Production she said:
“The dip that I had when I lost my job could have been a moment of despair. You know like so what next? I was at my prime, I had done a good job, it happened and it had to happen. But when I look back I’m like it was necessary because there were some lessons that I needed to learn and if that didn’t happen I wouldn’t be where I am today. In retrospect it was necessary even though I was in so much pain, I used to feel like my heart is actually painful,” she said.
Painful
She added that all along, she new God had a plan for and He chose for her the most painful path.
“It took a while, it took such a long time but it was necessary and you know they say when God has a plan for you, he has a plan for you. And sometimes if you are taking too long to see what his plan is, he plucks you out. It can be painful or smooth, He chose the painful way for me. I needed to go through it, it made me a strong person, it made me realize that life can start afresh. As long as you have a place to sleep, you have food, you are good. Tomorrow will take care of itself,” She added.
