Questions as Terryanne Chebet ditches Jacque Maribe, Shix Kapienga and others from her clique while hosting expensive 40th birthday party

Former Citizen TV news anchor Terryanne Chebet has just clocked 40 years. And she did it in style.

Chebet gathered her family and friends at Laikipia, Mukima house, where it’s being said she spent almost a million shillings on her birthday.

Missing

The birthday looked as fancy as most of Chebet’s celebration but, also looked incomplete without some of her close friends. We all know Chebet had a clique of about 7 ladies that include Jacque Maribe, Monica Kiragu, Shix Kapienga and some other Citizen TV employees.

None of them was present for the birthday leaving many questioning where they were. In fact, since Monica Kimani’s death, the clique hasn’t been seen some much together.  Last year, her clique surprised her with an all-white yacht party in the coast.

She said she’s grateful that she can put together a book on how to formulate a brand in today’s world where it is the age of visibility and not your ability.

“So this finally happened! I’ve been planning to write a book for so long and I’m excited because this is a topic that I believe we all need to focus on. We are living in an age where visibility is more important than ability. You may have the best experience, the best education but are you the opinion or thought leader in your space? I’ve collected stories from powerful brands globally and shared tips and insights on how anyone can build a formidable brand from the inside out. Be a friend and purchase a copy online? Its an e-book and available on Amazon.” she said.

The book goes for 999 Kenyan shillings for the soft copy.

Chebet left many thrilled after giving a rather impressive live performance during a recent event at KIZA lounge where she performed the popular “Killing Me Softly by Fugees” with a live band.

Celebrity saxophonist Edward Parseen backed her during the awesome performance proving that the business anchor should really think of venturing in the music business and maybe release one or two singles just to try out her luck.
