Kenyan seasoned business journalist and entrepreneur, Terryanne Chebet officially graced her last day at Metropol TV as General Manager yesterday.
The former Citizen TV journalist disclosed it would never have been a better time for her to call it quits and concentrate on the growth of her personal business.
Tuesday, June 30, the mother of two penned a goodbye letter both to colleagues and her online family for the support and criticisms that made her a better leader.

Sad goodbyes
The TV beauty was sweetly celebrated at the 24-hour Business News Channel by fellow colleagues, with moving tributes to forever cherish the moments they shared.
Ms Terryanne expressed sorrow for leaving behind such a dedicated and committed team but grateful for lessons learnt.
Today I say goodbye to my incredible team at @metropoltvke . What an incredible journey it’s been! You have taught me the real definition of being a leader and what teamwork is. Our commitment to telling the stories of mama Mboga’s, SME’s and startups has inspired me greatly and I will take this to my next journey.

Admitting it was time to let go and embark on her personal growth as well. Additionally serving at Scarlet digital advertising agency as well as her very own, Keyara organics.

The 41-year old media personality joined Metropol TV as General Manager in March 2019 following her exit from Fanaka TV as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
