Tanasha Donna’s revelation that she is getting married soon is troubling

Tanasha Donna is getting married soon if reports coming out of Tanzania are to be believed. According to Global Publishers, she is set to have her dowry paid for her at the soonest possible convenience.

This is remarkable news for a single mother who only recently came out of her relationship with the father of her child, the biggest star in East and Central Africa, Diamond Platnumz, and she had announced her pregnancy after just three months of dating him.

It would seem Tanasha’s modus operandi is to move quickly and rush in where even angels fear to tread. And whether or not you agree with her approach, it is the reason why she had a relationship with Diamond Platnumz to begin with but I would argue that it is also the reason why the relationship was so short-lived and ended tumultuously.

And now, even before she is done healing from the former situation, she is set to walk down the aisle. I would hope that anyone who she has around her who has her best interests at heart would avail themselves to advice her to take things slow. A man who is looking to marry you tomorrow is also going to be willing to wait six more months and if he isn’t, you have surely dodged a bullet.

But at the end of the day, Tanasha’s decision is hers alone to make and she seems to be gearing to make it. This also calls to question her seriousness about crafting a career for herself in music because the truth of the matter is that it is much more difficult to establish yourself while you have a relationship to nurture let alone a relationship and child.

Or perhaps this is a silver lining for her because we have been met with reports of how wanting her work ethic is so maybe this will allow her to lead the life she sees fit for herself and only have to worry about rearing her child and any potential others that come along later.

Whatever the case may be, she also has to ensure that she does what’s best for her son because she is now not her only priority. She has to ensure that the situation between her and the fool willing to make an honest woman of her is healthy and beneficial to her son. Also, the spectre of Diamond still looms large over her and the new relationship and unless she has found a way to exorcise that particular demon, it will rear it’s ugly head when least convenient.

Tanasha Donnah set to rock the East African music curve as she drops new EP

Tanasha Donah, a Kenyan radio girl and music sensation that has clearly clinched her own space in the Kenyan music scene.

A lady who rose to fame after coupling up with Wasafi records boss Diamond Platinumz has proven that she is not there to look pretty and all. She wanted to win!

Tanasha has had her fair share of backlash from both Kenya and Tanzania. Diamond’s fans thought she’d just be another socialite in his life.

However, the lass decided to disapprove the region by venturing into music something that saw her raise the fame bar even further.

Her debut “Radio” with fellow Kenyan Barak Jacuzzi received mixed reactions but luckily she got to over 1 million views.

Well, after the song came the narrative about her faking her age. Netizens could not bottle in the fact that a young person can succeed so fast. Oh well, she had to prove it to the naysayers.

That aside, despite the noise around how she got her fame one thing that stands out about Tanasha is her composure to social media trolls.

She never answers back not unless provoked!! I mean I would too.

It is evident that 2020 will be a good year for Ms Tanasha as she is et to release her first Ep dubbed “Donnatella”.

The EP launch is set for 31st Jan 2020 and a series of Kenya celebrities are set to headline the show.

Being a little economical with details about the party, the mother of one clearly has a big party set for 31st.

Some of the celebrities set to be at the launch include baby daddy Diamond Platinumz who has it all planned in his 2020 tour calendar, Wahu, Nameless, Cate the actress, Nviiri the storyteller, Brenda Wairimu, Khaligraph among others.

Her latest jam “La Vie” that she features Wasafi’s Mbosso was another propel to her music because this girl can sing!

Well, it’s something to wait and see because she has proven herself to her fans.

Why Tanzanian artist are slowly warming up to Kenya

For a while now Kenyans have enjoyed music both from Kenya and Tanzania thanks to the partnership between the two countries, musicians such as Susumila, Gabu, Bahati, Willy Paul, Akothee to name but a few.

In what seems like a wave, Tanzanian artist seems to be warming up to Kenya and they’ll seem to love the music that we do in Kenya while you can say the same thing to Kenyan music lovers.

Recently, we have seen musicians like Susumila warmed up to Tanzania’s Mbosso and Lavalava together they did big good songs that clearly have gathered good numbers on YouTube and given them the views that they deserve.

One would ask why the Tanzanian boys and girls seem to be warming up to Kenya. Well, if you ask me I believe that because of the Swahili dialect they use and the poetic nature is why Kenyans love is their music.

I’m in for the longest time we have not had the 90s r&b that would create the mood in all what seems like the love renditions of music. However, the Tanzanian boys seem to have mastered the art of doing RnB music using Swahili.

A good example is “La vie” a song done by Kenya’s Tanasha Donna and Wasafi’s Mbosso. Barely a week and the song was able to get over 1 million views on YouTube.

Well yes, some would say it’s because she is close to Diamond Platinumz but again whether she is or not, Tanasha can sing.

Furthermore, when you listen to the songs it gives you a reason to fall in love again and again with your heart or not it does give you a reason to love.

But anyway whether they just coming to Kenya just for the numbers or not it is clear that Bongo artists have seen good potential in Kenyan-Tanzanian collaborations.

Music industry in East Africa is somehow failing the citizens and also the world at large.

Am stressing this  because we are at a time where everybody thinks when you have the microphone and followers, you can as well sing. Singing well in the shower makes one a musician or being born with this good voice as well.

Why is she an amateur?

Tanasha is pretty good looking girl and I love the way she’s humble especially to her allies and on the social media. But I think one should tell her the truth. Let her sing  some good sense. Its okay she doesn’t want to be a star as she said.  She’s more into the craft but what are we selling or how are we portraying our music to the outside world.

To start with, I know we are going to argue about this for the better part of the day.

On the other hand, Tanasha’s music too is bit down. This is because she focuses more on classy videos which we must agree it’s  good.  But how about whats being sang?  So far we focus on her two songs ‘Radio and Nah Easy’ ,she has done some good job. Although, going back keenly the music is sort of hitting a message on someone specific and not bringing out the flow of good music.

Besides it being her second, Album ‘Nah easy’ I hope as time goes by she will grow to singing some good sense to the music industry and her fans, because she has the voice.

Because if the same trend continues I can bet on it that she won’t be on the music industry for a long time as she aspires in her project, she needs the words and a message and not more of portraying her beauty and voice.

In conclusion, she is good because she keeps us entertained but she needs to grow.

Roysambu Manenos? Tanasha explains why Diamond hasn’t visited her house in Nairobi

NRG radio presenter Tanasha Donna has revealed that Diamond Platnumz has really never visited her apartment in Nairobi.

Speaking to Kiss 100, Tanasha said that her visiting the singer’s is easier and better because the singer always travels with an entourage.

I spend most of my weekends in Diamond’s house. I have tried to have him come to my apartment and it has been hard because he has to come with his entourage that includes security and the whole hullabaloo.

This means everyone will get to know that he is around and that is what he wants to avoid. I actually got a week off so I’m here with him. I have not been feeling too well.

 

The singer also said that dating Diamond isn’t an easy thing. At first, it was very frustrating but now she’s slowly getting used to it.

At the beginning of the relationship, I used to cry daily. I almost fell into depression. I do feel insecure.He told me the social media drama I’m facing is nothing compared to his past relationships. But once his fans realize he is indeed serious with our relationship, they will show their support, which I’m already seeing.

 

Diamond Platnumz’ wife-to-be Tanasha Donna lands new show

Diamond Platnumz’s new catch Tanasha Donna has been enjoying a lot of mentions and follows ever nice Diamond announced that he’s madly in love with her and plans to settle down with her soon.

The two lovers have caused mixed emotions on social media since then as people follow their daily lives.

Tanasha recently had some good news for her fans thanks to their support. The NRG presenter, who has been hosting the mid-morning morning show alongside DJ Kace, will no be hosting yet another show dubbed #NRGCIRCLE.

New show

The show will be every Monday to Thursday from 8 pm- midnight, a position that was previously occupied by Yvonne Reeda.

On social media, Tanasha made the announcement saying:

“NEW SHOW ALERT. Guess what? I’m officially part of the baddest littest evening show in the 254, #NRGCIRCLE with my G and my co-host @shaqtheyungin Catch us every Mon-Thur from 8 pm- midnight!” she said.
