Issa comeback! Sleepy David bags major TV show deal

Things seem to be taking a good turn for Churchill Show comedian Sleepy David after bagging major TV show deal.

The stand-up comedian who was a few months ago reported to be languishing in poverty, might just have made his big comeback on our TV screens following his recent announcement.

Taking to his timeline, the funny kid announced the launch of his TV show series dubbed ‘Shining Star Network’ on KTN Home.

“God is Faithful ????????,” humbly thanked the top comedian as he broke the announcement to fans, in what he defined a “WIN”.

A show hosted by him, set to air after the 7pm news bulletin, every Saturday from 7:30 pm.

A platform he believes endeavors to discover, nature and celebrate all the amazing shining stars in a Big way, regardless of age and gender.

From the announcement, the likes of infamous kid pastor Victor and popular comedy star DJ Shiti are set to grace the newly unveiled platform.

A show set to feature incredible, budding talents, celebrity surprises plus, an all-fun segment dubbed “Hangout with Sleepy”.

For him, it is all about providing a safe edutainment space for the whole family as they thrive in the Global Economy.

The new platform comes in the wake of COVID-19 that has seen social gatherings and social distancing regulations bar any further airing of the popular Churchill Show Live episodes on NTV. Instead, comedians have become creative with new platforms.

Sleepy David issues heartfelt apology to Zeddy after his online rant !

Comedian Sleepy david made a bad call after choosing to engage with Zeddy after she strongly blamed Victor Ber fr the deaths of Kasee and Njenga Mswahili.

As seen on her post, it appeared that the lass only had an issue with Victor Ber and not anyone else. However with Sleepy clapping back as he defended his friend’s (teacher Wanjiku) husband; only angered Zeddy who then went on to spill more unknown details about the Churchill show.

So far Zeddy claims Sleepy has been getting favors from Ber; and unlike other comedians the guy always manages to survive when fresh talent is sent packing with no explanation.

However after blogs picked up the story; Sleepy has now been forced to issue an apology for the online rant with female. According to him, Zeddy had every right to mourn and remember their colleagues who were more than friends but family.

I made  post in regards to the Victor Ber issue and I have got all manner of reactions which are all valid because is real and it’s a conversation we all need to have ASAP we are losing to many young people. I acknowledge that I may have sounded as a victim shammer which was not at all my intention; and would go apologize to everyone i have offended including my friend and colleague, Zeddy.

Sleepy David went on to add that his main reason for stepping in was to defend Victor who he says is like a brother.

I acted like everyone who has a friend would do, victor to me has been more than a friend or a boss. He has become my family and my mentor and that other side of him. I have never seen it. You can only defend what you have seen and know

In conclusion, the funny man reached out to Zeddy hoping to settle things; and hopefully these two will manage to work things out.

Losing a parent must be one of the most painful experiences a child can go through in life! And Comedian Sleepy’s latest post has confirmed this for us.

Although Sleepy is known for his witty jokes and cheerful character; the fella recently opened up about his late dad leaving his fans in tears after sharing unknown details about his late father.

In a detailed post shared on his Instagram page the comedian opened up revealing how much he misses his late father; not forgetting to credit his dad for inspiring him to be the man he is today.

Looking at how emotional Sleepy got in his post; It is only fair to say that death is cruel and robs us blind. But since this is a path for all humans, we have no option but face and deal with it; since this is not the end but a beginning of another journey!

In his post, Sleepy wrote saying;

My Dad was Special I miss him we shared soo much in common okay apart from this one ???????????????????????????????? one thing I borrow from him is Vision, he was such a a Great visionary and that trait runs deep in me. My dreams are always about purpose.

Despite losing his dad, Sleepy went on to confess that he will continue with his late dad’s good deeds of touching lives everywhere he said;

Now that i have an angel I can talk to, my prayer is that I get an opportunity to continue with what he was passionate about, touching Lives. One of the Biggest lessons I learned from his journey is Sometimes we Win all the times we Learn.

Sleepy’s late dad was a pastor who ministered to many; but unfortunately passed on before witnessing his son’s success but all in all the comedian is thankful to have had him as a father.

Comedian Sleepy David who is popularly known for his rib cracking jokes might have taken some time off TV but he continues to be active on his social media pages where his fans can’t keep off as he always something new to entertain his audience with.

However, just like most celebrities he prefers to keep his private life off social media for reasons best known to him. But just a few hours ago he left many speechless and ‘awwwing’ after posting a beautiful photo of a baby girl which he accompanied with a message that clearly shows the type of dad he will be in the near future.

Well, from what we know is that the comedian is not yet a father – meaning he could have gotten the cute baby girl’s photo online since he might be craving to have a daughter like most parents in the entertainment industry. He wrote saying;

A father is the noblest title a man can be given. It is more than a biological role! It signifies a leader, an exemplar, a confidant, a teacher, a hero, a friend and ultimately a being – something I can’t wait to be in the future to my own children.

This is a side of the comedian we have never seen before but one can’t help but admire his ambition and love towards children. I bet he will make a good dad someday, right?

Khaligraph Jones and Octopizzo’s fresh beef isn’t about to end anytime soon, people joining either side are further fueling the beef.

Yesterday May 10th Octopizzo drop a bomb that wiped off Khaligraph’s new diss track ‘Toa Tint’. Kibera’s finest shared a photo of Khaligraph and him as he narrated how Papa Jones desperately wanted to be like him.

“Once upon a time there was 2 Amigos, one of them was called Omolo, Omolo was a short FAT BLACK kid, he always talked very fast and caught feelings easily. Next to him was his mentor King Octo.

“Omolo admired King Octos lifestyle to an extent that he wanted to look like him in reality,but he couldn’t loose weight. 9 yrs later Omolo evolved from taking fast to rapping fast, it took him time though before People could understand why he was saying,people still don’t understand what he’s saying.

“But luckily 9yrs later he got a chance to visit Dubai,Landing there Omolo realized everybody was white and brown and he had a massive culture shock coz his accent wasn’t matching his looks;he had crazy insecurities like an Alshabab soldier,He tried to use unga but it didn’t work,then he ran to the next store and got body cream, His mentor king octo tried to reach him but couldn’t coz he was traveling in the United States for business.

“He was asked to diss him but King octo said “I can’t diss a light skinned person,am not racist, am a civilized proud African man.

“Since then Omolo and King octo haven’t met, but King octo still believes he can change Omolos mind and reverse the experiment.
