Sauti Sol’s Savara narrates life threatening experience with SARS during his stay in Nigeria

Sauti Sol’s Savara has ever come across the so called Nigerian police officers known as the SARS.  According to the internet the SARS are the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) used to help reduce robbery in the country; however judging from the stories shared online, this is not what they have been doing.

So far we have seen Nigerians beg for help as they fear for their lives following the ongoing battle between the youths and SARS. Yes, this is scary and if you thought the internet has been exaggerating, wait till you hear Savara’s story.

In a post shared by Savara Mudigi, he goes on to narrate his personal experience with the SARS that almost left him begging for his life.

Savara opens up

In the post the Sauti Sol singer goes on to open up saying;

Many of you might not know this but I have had a personal experience with SARS. I had travelled to Lagos to shoot the video of Susanna and after the shoot, I decided to go listen to bangers in the club. BIG MISTAKE.

The singer goes on to add;

On the way to the club our vehicle was stopped by SARS. They forced us out of the car and told us to lie on the ground. Being foreigners, Mzwa and I heavily prayed for our lives. All I heard were sounds of guns being cocked. I dont know where i would be if it wasn’t for the few dollars I had in my pocket.

Worst experience

The singer goes on to reveal that this was one of the worst experience he had ever experienced in his life. According to Savara, these SARS left him feeling like a terrorist; yet Nigeria has always been Sauti Sol’s second home.

The babe who was featured on actress Nyce Wanjeri’s vlog, admitted she is taken and currently dating an undisclosed guy.

However, the seat got hot when the former Auntie Boss actress popped the big question on Azziad dating several hot local male celebrities.

Marry, Smash and Show Off question

As usual, it was the ‘marry, smash&pass and showoff question’ and the guys on her list were: Pascal Tokodi, Nick Mutuma and Sauti Sol’s Savara.

A shy and unexpecting Azziad grew cold feet, asking to pass on the question because clearly, the list was not in her favor.

Nyce quickly pleaded with the 20-year old’s boyfriend, that this was but a question and not reality, just in case it caused chaos between them.

Azziad kept fumbling, before going quiet, admitting that Pascal and Nick Mutuma were like brothers to her and it would not feel nice, thinking about them beyond that.

So she refreshed her list, with comedian YY, Dr King’ori and Savara. On her feet, Azziad confidently responded:

“I’d smash and pass YY, marry Dr King’ ori and show off with Savara.”

Azziad additionally talked of getting cyberbullied after fame, shed light on her rate card and talked of her aspirations to start an own fashion line and be an International actress in the near future.

Sauti Sol’s Savara in mourning

Sauti Sol’s singer Savara Mudigi and family are currently in mourning after losing their dear one. The singer who is not only known for his abs; but skills in terms of vocals lost his grandmother this past weekend leaving behind a cloud of emptiness and disbelief!

The sad news was shared by close friends of the Mudigi family; who went on to remember the late granny in the most special way. The younger brother mourned his late granny by sharing a never seen before photo of both him and Savara in the company of their late ‘bibi.’

Her death however comes at a time when she has witnessed all the grate achievements her grandson has been making in the music industry. However, although chances are that the granny did not know much about her celebrity grandson’s online life; I bet she enjoyed the fruits of his endless labor!

Successful Youtube show

Away from the sad news, we understand that Sauti sol had an amazing show this past weekend as they held a virtual performance for their fifth studio album, ‘Midnight Train’.

Word making rounds on social media is that the show attracted over 40,000 viewers through the YouTube Live event. Not for once had we ever seen such love from their fans based in different countries around the world!

So far, Sauti Sol remains as they only sensible band realizing good old music for their die hard fans across the globe! But seeing how far they have come, it’s only right to congratulate these hard working men!

Savara Mudigi, who is one of the four members of award-winning Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol, recently gave his fans a deeper peek into his private life as he gave them a virtual tour of the house that he shares with his girlfriend.

The singer and his beau, Yvonne Anyango Endo, were featured on the 3rd episode of Sauti Sol’s reality show dubbed Sol Family where they revealed how they met, what they love about each other and whatnot.

Apparently, they bumped into each other at Africa Noveau Festival where Savara lied to her that he’s a stripper. They later exchanged numbers and as as they say, the rest is history.

“I was just making rounds at the event when I saw her and her sister. I was a little bit tipsy and emotions kicked in so I approached her and asked her what her name is,” Savara explained.

Reports indicate that the two have been dating for about two years but it was not until recently when the musician let the cat out of the bag.

While Savara and Yvonne’s love life is adorable, what caught people’s attention is the own compound house that they live in. However, we don’t know the location as of yet. Sol Family airs on Maisha Magic Plus on Sundays at 7pm.

Sauti Sol has mastered the art of making good music

I don’t know about you but I knew that Sauti Sol’s latest song dubbed Insecure was going to be a hit even before they released it. No kidding.

This is simply because they have gotten to a point in their music careers where everything they touch instantly turns into gold. Their songs get instant love from their fans and I don’t even think they struggle to market/push them

The group which comprises of; Bien Aime Barasa, Willis Chimano, Savara Mudigi and Polycarp Otieno has mastered the art of making good music.

Having been in the industry for 15 years or so, the have learnt the dos and don’t, studied market trends so they know when to release new music and improved the qualities of their videos and audios.

In addition to that, they also don’t make random songs. The Kenyan boy-band make songs that create conversations and are enjoyable at the same time.

I’m sure you have noticed that Sauti Sol is never in a hurry to release new music. This is because they know that they have a ready market and the demand for their music is high. So they take their time the end product is dope.

They have a different approach to music and I hope that other artists can borrow a leaf from them if they also want to make music that will be played for many years to come. Timeless music.

One thing that makes me really happy is that Sauti Sol has taken talented artists likes; Nviiri, Bensoul and Kaskazini under their wings which means that we will still be treated to good music even after they hang up their boots.

On the 5th of April, Sauti Sol´s Savara Mudigi left the country for Harvard University and we only expect him back in 2020.

The vocalist took to social media to bid fans and followers ´goodbye´ claiming that he is in a bid to cut off probes from everyone.

This comes less that 30 days after fellow band member and guitarist, Polycarp Otieno left for Harvard too.

Anyway, we do wish them well and hope this will bring in better quality and taste of music from the renowned Kenyan band.

Sauti Sol’s Savara Mudigi announces Wema Sepetu as his girlfriend (Photos)

Sauti Sol’s Savara Mudigi caused a stir when he shared romantic photo of Wema Sepetu and him on social media before announcing that they are dating.

Lookalike

Savara is only taking Kenyans for a ride, the man in the photo who posed with Wema Sepetu is not him but his lookalike who is a videographer in Tanzania.

Wema Sepetu actually posted the same photo on her Instagram account way back on December 12th, she identified the man as Farid. Farid bears an uncanny resemblance to to the Kenyan singer in the photo he posed with Wema.

What is a Thursday if it’s not #throwbackthursday? It’s clearly not a Thursday worth experiencing.

Savara Mudigi seems to be bringing back old skool fashion and boy does he look fine. The singer who is part of Sauti Sol is seen dressed in what looks like a belly bottom which he paired with a retro shirt.

The singer’s latest photos suggest that Vintage clothes are growing in desirability. Celebrities like him who aren’t afraid to show off their unique style are always the first to flaunt their vintage finds.

However, not many are capable of pulling this look but Savara seems to have a way of making it natural. Clearly he should be wearing more vintage because it makes him stand out from others – something he should pride in.

Sauti Sol’s Savara Mudigi has finally addressed rumors claiming that he was once involved with Nairobi Diaries actress Mishi Dora who exclusively told Ghafla that they had been dating in the past.

The singer who spoke to Insyder said that lately women have been popping out from all directions to make him look bad. But he understands that not everybody is happy with his achievements especially now that he launched his SAWA project that aims to bring development in the lives of most women in Eastlands.

According to the singer he has never had the interest to look at the socialite who claimed that they had been exclusively dating. He went on to say that he might have kissed a few women in the past but that does not mean that he was with them – for this reason they will continue coming to seek for revenge but he is not about that life. He said,

Sijai pata interest ya kujaribu kumuangalia. Si ati naringa sijui feel need…. I don’t think anadeserve time yangu sincerely speaking.

He went on to say that if they had evidence then it would be easy to tell who was telling the truth and who was lying. Anyway, his life has however not changed and as expected he did not confirm whether he was dating President Uhuru’s Niece, Kavi Pratt…but according to him he has never cheated. Lit photos from Savara Mudigi’s project aiming to empower women and mothers from Eastlands

Sauti Sol’s Savara Mudigi this past weekend launched the #SaWA project, an initiative created to inspire and empower women to reach their full potential, using their own resources like time, skills and talent.

This saw his team hold a football tournament for both women and men on Saturday attracting many to be part of his projects. On Sunday he however ensured to hold an event which was attended by his band members, Nyashinski, Nameless, Le_band, Bon Eye, Naiboi among other artists who have grew up in Eastlands.

From the photos it is easy to tell that Savara’s efforts and hard work paid well as fans turned out in huge numbers to support one of their own. His parents were also present and his mother got to perform kuliko Jana as she also congratulated her son for stepping up to help women…something that has not been seen in a while.
