Rayvanny proves simps are stupid

Rayvanny has broken up with Paula Kajala. It’s almost as if we didn’t see this coming. Actually, its almost as if no one had warned him that she was not the type of woman you’d turn into a housewife.

Rayvanny regrets relationship with 20-Year-old Paula Kajala, finally confirms breakup

But simps are going to simp and at the heart of it, that simply means being stupid. Check out the definition below and I kid you not, the kamusi version has his photo next to the term:

Rayvanny started his relationship by trying to pedestalize Paula by using the little boy tactic of comparing her to his ex, Fahyvanny and then insulting the mother of his child. And this is something anyone with two brain cells required to rub together to spark a thought can see this was a bad move.

Harmonize reconciles with Paula Kajala after heated arguments fueled by WCB ex artist

And even when she introduced hell to his life through her mother and the other simp from Tanzanian entertainment, Harmonize, he still clung to her.

Rayvanny with baby mama, Fahyvanny

You got the sense he felt she was better than him (despite his many accolades and accomplishments) and was eager to seek her validation and approval. And it blew my mind just how low a superstar like Rayvanny’s self-esteem is. He would look at this young beauty -she is undoubtedly hot- and he felt her simply being was worth more than his accolades.

Harmonize and Kajala’s love story is a disaster in waiting

And we watched as he bought her gifts, cars and even started paying for her education. The problem is, you can take a woman to school but you can’t broaden her intelligence. And Paula decided to forgive Harmonize for sexually harassing her and she mended the fences with her mother which left one casualty, Rayvanny.

Rayvanny with new girlfriend

So now he is left having to run back to beg his ex, the mother of his bay, Fahyvanny to take him back. He’s really lucky she can’t do any better than him so now they seem to be trying to work out their issues.

What Paula Kajala’s father revealed about her shows the danger of single motherhood

And his parting shot when reflecting on his relationship with Paula? Well, all Rayvanny could say was,

Don’t allow love to confuse you, don’t liken love to food, I made peace with my heart and ended my relationship with Paula.

Rayvanny’s baby mama foretold the future

So what lessons should we take from his lack of intelligence? Well, the first is that you must always make your partner earn your commitment. That doesn’t mean that you play childish games but rather that as a 30-year-old established man, you shouldn’t be the one chasing commitment.

You’ve done the work so why are you still begging and dancing for validation? Rayvanny should also have given more thought to what is important, creating a stable home for his child or trying to make a wife of a 18 year old party girl.

Rayvanny’s move from WCB was expected but he did it right

Rayvanny has officially left WCB. By now, that should be old news (well, it should be if you read Ghafla as religiously as you should). But the manner in which he did it allowed Diamond Platnumz to not just save face but also put him in the frame of mind to help him out whenever the need arises.

Rayvanny announces exit from WCB, Diamond Platnumz reacts

This is a sharp contrast from the manner in which Harmonize left WCB (Wasafi Classics Baby -God this is a cringey name) because when he left, he made sure to burn every bridge available and while many of his fans would love to argue that this did nothing to deter his career, the truth is that it stunted it to some degree.

You see, when Rayvanny left, he made sure to not talk ill of the studio that had been responsible for his discovery and nurturing of his talent. There has been no acrimony and no drama. He simply served out the duration of his contract and bid his former team adieu.

Is Rayvanny exiting Wasafi Records? Diamond Platnumz responds

This was actually a smart move because it allowed him to learn from the management team of the biggest record label in East and Central Africa. He was literally seated on the shoulders of giants and learning about more than just the craft of music production but also about the music business.

Rayvanny with baby mama, Paula

It’s been six years since we started working together. My team, my family WCB Wasafi, love and unity has been very instrumental in the success of our team.
I have learned a lot and also we have achieved a lot together. I was the first Tanzanian artiste to win a BET award. I have been the first artiste to perform on big platforms like the MTV EMAs stage, Dubai Expo and many more.

Contrast this to the way in which Rayvanny’s former teammate did things. He went as far as to try to break his contract. When he tried justifying this move, he claimed that when he signed the contract, he didn’t know any better. And he eventually had to buy out his contract.

Rayvanny issues stan warning to Wasafi FM radio host trolling his son’s mother

From there, he has since been trying to compete with Diamond Platnumz without realising that he should be focusing on his career. It’s really crazy when you think about it because while Diamond has been performing internationally and continues to get a lot of praise from international stars, Harmonize has been unable to grow from being a local and regional artist.

Rayvanny stuck around until he was helped to get onto the international platform. He waited under Diamond’s wings and bid his time until he was even able to surpass the accolades his former boss has earned.

And now that the time is right, he is starting to do his own thing with complete confidence knowing he is dead of even Harmonize. In East Africa, you’d be hard-pressed to compare him to most of his peers.

Kenya Is East Africa’s Music Powerhouse BUT…

You read the title right, Kenya is actually East Africa’s defacto musical powerhouse. There are no ifs, buts or maybes because it is the country that actually decides which stars will be stars and who will become a superstar.

Vera Sidika Explains Why She Chooses To Give Birth In Kenya Rather Than The States

The numbers are in and anyone with enough brain cells to rub together to start a fire can look at these very simple numbers and see that this is a fact. If we are not feeling your music, you will not become a star but this is actually also a very bad thing.

And the reason I am of this opinion is that the data shows that we as a country actually betray Kenyan stars. We betray our own. I have gotten ahead of myself so let me get back to the very beginning.

Socialite Huddah Monroe Discloses Interest In Vying For Kenya’s Presidential Seat

I was going through different statistics for the YouTube analytics of the biggest celebrities in East Africa. That means, Kenya, Tanzania Uganda but also for the greater East African regions such as Rwanda and South Sudan. What I found was very interesting because it showed me why Kenya needs to become very restrictive about who we support because as I noted earlier, we make the stars.

I was always of the opinion that Tanzanian artists are big because of the unwavering support they are given by their home audience but I found out that the secret weapon is truly just Kenya’s support. Think of anyone of East Africa’s biggest stars, Diamond Platnumz, Zuchu, Mbosso, Rayvanny, Harmonize and Ali Kiba. They get most of their love and support from Kenya!

Naivasha Rally proves entertainment is future of Kenyan economy

Can you imagine that? The main reason for this is because compared to our East African counterparts, Kenya has the best internet infrastructure. To add to this, despite Uhuru Kenyatta’s kangaroo regime and the insane amounts of taxes we have been subjected to, we still have the most affordable internet which means Kenyans can and often do enjoy online content.

The second reason is that we suffer from low self-esteem which manifests itself in our praise and craving for foreign content. It is actually very true that we do have a problem with supporting our own. Each of the most popping artists in the East African regions are given support by Kenya. At this rate, they should just do a “gratitude concert” and thank us.

Can you imagine how big Kenyan artists would be if we gave them the same level of support? It really only is Otile Brown who seems to get this level of support from us but even then, it isn’t enough for him to compete with the top 2 most popular artists in Kenya-he rounds off the top 3 but that only earns him bronze.

I mean, even Omah Lay gets most of his support from Kenya. He has a healthy support base from his own country and community with Nigerians really coming out to support his content and music but Kenya still takes the top slot, which is one of the reasons why he is as big as he is in Africa and not just in Nigeria.

And this opinion is borne out by the fact that when Kenya stops supporting an artist, their numbers suffer horribly and that is seen very well in Harmonize. He is the only artist I have seen on the list without a strong fanbase in Kenya and he is suffering for it, His graph has shown a very steady dive and his numbers have subsequently plummetted.

Imagine if we could get the same support for our own, Kenyan born talent? Or perhaps, what Kenyan artists need to actually do is to start claiming they aren’t Kenyans. Maybe Otile Brown would have been bigger had he come out and claimed he was Tanzanian. Or even Ugandan. We seem to only ever want to support our own when they win after the rest of the world has finally recognised our star.

What Paula Kajala’s father revealed about her shows the danger of single motherhood

Paula Kajala is the daughter of Frida Kajala, Harmonize’s ex whom he tried to (or did he actually manage to) sleep with and she is also the same girl who was involved in a scandal with Rayvanny.

Pierra Makena is being disingenuous about single motherhood

The thing about this girl that makes her the focus of my piece today is that she is the poster child of what happens to the child of a single mother when she doesn’t receive the direction a father provides whether in a stable house or through a co-parenting situation.

You see, Paula Kajala has a father who is a producer in Tanzania by the name of P-Funk Majani who is estranged from her. This man recently gave an interview in which he revealed that she had told him she doesn’t want a relationship with him and he has no choice but to oblige her.

Why Harmonize is really getting involved in Rayvanny’s woes

He, however, was very clear that the stuff she is getting herself involved in will not only ruin her but will bring a curse. He also proves that hindsight is 20/20 as he claims he regrets siring a child by Frida Kajala, a woman whom he feels has no business being a mother.

Harmonize’s girlfriend with daughter, Paula Kajala with her mum

Whether or not you agree with his decision not to get involved with his daughter’s life, the fact that she lacks discipline is a very real result of this man, Majani, not getting involved in the disciplining of Paula Kajala. And at this rate, she will soon go through the pains of being a single mother.

Harmonize hitting on Kajala’s daughter proves nice guys are scum

At the end of the day, whatever you might think is an issue with the situation, you have to agree that Frida Kajala is a terrible example to her daughter. How can we excuse the fact that she exposed her daughter to her fiance in the form of Harmonize? While she is not responsible for his bad behaviour, the tenets of motherhood, cast in iron, are that she needs to protect her daughter from the worst life has to offer including unscrupulous men. She failed at this task.

We have to realize that our feelings are worthless in this argument because science has documented and spoken to the situation and shows us that Paula Kajala would be better off with her father in her life. And according to a Safe Harbour study,

“Wewe ni mama mjinga” Activist tells Kajala after Rayvanny leaks private chats between Harmonize and Paula Kajala

90% of welfare recipients are single mothers
70% of gang members, high school dropouts, teen suicides, teen pregnancies, teenage drug abusers are from single mother households
63% of national suicides are done by individuals who grew up in single-mother homes
90% or runaway children are from single-mother households are from single mother households
85% of children with behavioural disorders are from single-mother households
80% of rapists motivated by displaced anger grew up in single-mother homes
85% of imprisoned youth grew up in single-mother homes

Feel free to look more into the statistics of why having both parents is important for children here.

if her father were involved in her life, predatory men would have been kept at bay. His job would have been to keep the hyenas off his daughter. She wouldn’t be the butt of jokes at this very moment. She wouldn’t be the footnote of the musical releases Harmonize is working on even as he shares the eggplant emoji.

‘You Are My Rock’ Kajala Pens Down Passionate Message To Lover Harmonize On His Birthday

The truth is, Frida Kajala has failed in her role as a mother but we expected no less from a single mother who herself is out to do anything for her time in the spotlight. And we need to actually take the time to take in this situation and learn from it as men. You do not want your daughter exposed to the type of nonsense Paula Kajala is. That doubtless makes P-Funk Majani feel like a failure. It hurts him enough to actually decide to cut off all his ties to his daughter.

Why Harmonize is really getting involved in Rayvanny’s woes

Harmonize is currently dating a much older lady called Kajala and the couple seems happy with each other. However, Harmonize has decided that them dating for a few months is worth him getting involved in Kajala’s family drama and woes.

Weuh! Diamond Platnumz manager takes brutal swipe at Harmonize, confirms singer is infertile

This means that he has embedded himself deeply into the crazy drama that has engulfed Kajala’s daughter, Paulah, Rayvanny and Hamisa Mobetto. You see, word went round that Rayvanny might (its all still allegations at this point) had carnal knowledge of the eighteen-year-old girl, Paulah Kajala. I should at this point note that Paulah is still in high school.

Paulah Kajala with her mother
Paulah Kajala with her mum

The age of majority and consent in Tanzania is 18 years of age but it is muddy water because she is still in high school. Somehow, Hamisa Mobetto has gotten dragged into the affair and Harmonize has decided to embroil herself into the mix as he claims he’s “showing support” to his girl, Kajala and also due to his moral convictions.

Harmonize new relationship with older woman is a thing of beauty

I would, however, like to point out that I am of the opinion Harmonize isn’t being genuine about why he is involved. I mean sure, he probably does want to show support to his girlfriend but after only 3 months of dating he’s getting mixed in a messy situation? I call bullshit and believe it’s all for two reasons: clout and to stick it to Diamond Platnumz.

Rayvanny with Paulah Kajala
Rayvanny and Paulah Kajala

You see, Harmonize hasn’t really let go of the fact that his departure from WCB was an acrimonious affair. He was forced to buy out his own contract. Ever since that happened, he has been taking shots at Diamond Platnumz, sometimes directly, sometimes subliminally.

Sugar baby! Harmonize publicly confesses his love for new sugar mama after dumping wife

In this matter, Rayvanny has opened himself up for some seriously hellish experiences. He got involved with a girl who though not a minor, is still in high school. This is a terrible time for him and his associates at WCB records. Harmonize has chosen this as a golden moment to not only virtue signal but stick it to his old comrades. And boy is he twisting the knife.

Paulah Kajala at her court appearance
Kajala and daughter appear in court

Harmonize is not doing this nonsense for the sake of morality, he is simply doing this rubbish to hurt Rayvanny and get back at Diamond but more importantly, Sallam SK. And at the same time, he gets clout from being positioned as the champion of Tanzanian virtue.

Given the fact that Pombe Magufuli has been a virtue-signalling politician, Harmonize is hoping to get in his good graces. he wants to be the only artist who is morally upstanding enough to be CCM’s (Magufuli’s political party) go-to artist for their events.

Harmonize
Harmonize laughing

At the end of the day, this betrayal will come back to haunt Harmonize. This is the one time his support needn’t have been public. Why? Because the case isn’t exactly clear-cut. And there is no foreseeable advantage if we are looking at this from a pragmatic, tactical viewpoint.

Before Rayvanny exits Wasafi Records, he needs to get his ducks in a row

Rayvanny is said to be the latest Wasafi Records artist seeking his emancipation following Harmonize’s rather strained and acrimonious exit from the Diamond Platnumz headed record label.

Proof that singer Rayvanny quit Wasafi records (Photos)

The young lad has been the subject of Tanzanian rumours for quite a while now and the main focus of those rumours is whether or not he is gearing up to leave Wasafi records.

rayvanny

What is interesting is that despite the fact that he has just recently released a song in collaboration with the head of Wasafi Records, Diamond Platnumz, the rumours have refused to abate. This actually leads me to think that indeed, this smoke is accompanied by some level of fire.

Rayvanny unveils his next record label following his exit at Diamond´s WCB (Video)

And if he does indeed decide to leave and set up his own record label, then it would be nothing other than the geometric progression of an artist whose ambitions have grown as his stature has and he has been under the wings of the most successful East African artists so it is only right that he would be itching to show himself what he is capable of.

rayvanny

What is, however, important for Rayvanny to remember is that first, he has a lot of options for how to go about this. Perhaps, he could explore discussing with the management at Wasafi and negotiating his own imprint within Wasafi Records.

I’m done being a video vixen – Rayvanny’s baby mama Fahyvanny announces

With this option, he could work to minimize his risk and at the same time grow his own record label bigger than Wasafi Records if possible. And should that come to pass, he would be the main man like his very own Diamond Platnumz because he would have shown not only an acumen for this type of business but also that he has his finger on the pulse of the culture.

Rayvanny

If this isn’t an appealing idea to him then he also needs to ensure that he goes about breaking away in a manner that does not leave his career overshadowed by the decision to leave. And here Rayvanny should study the case of Harmonize carefully. You see, when Harmonize decided to leave, he did so with a lot of fanfare and controversy engulfing his decision and so far, his music career hasn’t allowed him to live down those circumstances.

As a result, harmonize is not on the same level as Diamond in spite of the fact that he clearly has the Tanzanian President’s goodwill. If anything, he comes off as a hyped and overinflated Rayvanny.

Rayvanny should give himself an eighteen-month runway and start planning his exit well ahead of time including starting to woo investors in his dream.

This is the secret behind why Wasafi records is so versatile

Wasafi Records has decided to seek out different influences to sustain their longevity and different sounds for their artists.

Wasafi’s Rayvanny ready to make peace with Ali Kiba? (Video)

Diamond Platnumz’ record label, Wasafi Records also known as WCB Records has a track record of tapping into either Nigerian or Congolese influences which allow their artists and producers a wide array of sounds.

rayvanny and his wife

And it is actually working well enough to make Wasafi Records the biggest record label in Eastern and Central Africa. Diamond himself has gone to Nigeria, sought permission from Naira Marley and used his instrumentals and arrangements for his own song. That is how we got Baba Lao.

Rayvanny unveils his next record label following his exit at Diamond´s WCB (Video)

Then when Diamond Platnumz wants to put out yet another street anthem with a twist, he went to DRC and tapped Innos to work with him on the artist’s remix of Yope Rmx.

wasafi records artist rayvanny
Celebrated Tanzanian artist, Rayvanny

Diamond Platnumz is well aware that when it comes to churning out ballads, he has that covered. So he really isn’t pressed to work with anyone else for ballads. And that same formula has been adopted for Rayvanny.

The guy has tapped into West African influences for his latest collaboration with Diamond, Amaboko. The song is an upbeat street anthem that is clearly meant to get you and yours dancing with a heavy Mr real influence. It is such a dope homage to Nigerian music that in the remix if he got Mr Real or Naira Marley or better.

Fahyma claps back at Juma Lokole for hating on her relationship with Rayvanny

The reason why this is a dope strategy is the fact that it allows Wasafi records artists not just a wide array of sounds (which serves to make their albums diverse sounding and also appeal to a wider audience) but also makes it such that they can work with artists from different cultures with ease.

Rosa Ree enlists Rayyvanny in new song “Sukuma Ndinga”

Controversial Tanzanian rapper Rosa Ree teamed up with Wasafi’s Rayvanny for “Sukuma Ndinga Remix”. A feel good rap song that brings out a reflection of the good life.

Sukuma Ndinga means Push the car, Ndinga is slang word for car,

The song comes few days after its audio release was done solo by Rosa Ree. Now as the video drops she enlists Rayvanny who is also good when it comes doing rap.

The song Sukuma Ndinga is basically about flexing about the good kind of cars as we try to make a agood life.

However as we go further you realize Rosa Ree is back at trashing her “haters”.

Lyrics

The songs title Sukuma Ndinga becomes its repetitive bridge before she starts of her rap. For one I think she did a good job to her lyrics.

Rosa Ree did not mince her words but put it out as it is. She rants of how she works hard for what she makes and is not quitting anytime.

Na move the shoulder na sukuma ndinga,Na push benz na beamer mixer kuvimba

Na for Ma country, na wakilisha, Nabeba ndoo kichwani napanda pipa

Huwezi nifananisha nao no no no, Me international wao local co co

I wont copy a new bugatti haice here, Huwezi Nikuta kwenye starlet not do

This life I work for na thanks God, For the cash low and haiters come

Then comes in the self declared Chui, Rayvanny, he does his thing by flexing about his music and the cars he rides.

I must say the duo were good combination for this  song but their message not so clearly put out. I think idealization for this song was not well done.

They both have a perfect vibe for this track but from where I sit fans deserved more than what they have offered. Rosa Rea and Rayvanny are household names both in Kenya and Tanzania but this for me did not work.

However, I must admit the visuals to this jam are just perfect. From start to end the production team led by the hit maker Bin Laden knew what they were to do.

For rating I will do with  6/10. Watch and tell us what you think.

Rayvanny and Mr. Blue treat fans to raggae love song dubbed “Mama la mama”

One of Wasafi’s finest Rayvanny seems to be on cupid quest in this month of love. Days after releasing another love song he now drops “Mama la mama” and he features rapper Mr. Blue.

Despite having it rocky in his love life with baby mama Fahyma, Rayvanny is out to prove that no matter what love is still worth trying. Or rather at some point in life, we all crave for love.

Mama la mama is another of Rayvanny’s Valentine’s edition production of the Flowers EP. For one we must appreciate the fact the intended purpose for this music was achieved. I mean its the month of love.

Vanny boy

Mama la mama

The title of the song is Swahili that can be translated to mean “Woman among all women”. Atleast that is what I got from looking at lyrics.

In the song, it’s about a guy praising the woman he loves and what she really means to him. Rayvnny starts by showing off his musical prowess.

He goes on to tell us why he chose to be his baby mama, and how she is the perfect wife material. Ahem, are calling out on Fahyma?

I mean they looked good together.

Whether it’s her or not, either way, the description fits. But again the lyrics go on to describe her beauty to detail and yes it’s beautiful.

Rayvanny

Later in the song fellow musician, Mr Blue raps in the song with the continued description of why the girl is perfect.

I must say the two did justice to this song with the lyrics and delivery.

The video too is beautifully done and I loved the fact that this time Rayvanny’s model was not as light as those they usually do but darker in complexion.

The video production was done and directed by director Kenny from zoom extra. As we continue to reminisce about love in this month we also appreciate good music.

Watch and give us your thoughts around this song.

Rayvanny with special valentines gift Vumilia

Rayvanny is back with a new single that is all about love dubbed Vumilia. This is a Kiswahili word that asks one to be patient.

The Wasafi member is back with a loud bang and one thing that is for sure he is great. Rayvanny has great vocals and in addition to this, his lyrical prowess is unmatched.

To start with, the jam has been produced by one superman, Bob Manecky.  It is a song filled with love. The way Rayvanny delivers Vumilia brings the solemn mood of the jam.

Rayvanny with special valentines gift Vumilia

Vumilia is a song that calls on lovers to exercise patience in love

Actually, it is clear from the lyrics that the person has no material wealth. Also, he asks the lady to woman to exercise patience as he finds them something like a better life.

“Niwe kibatari Ama mwanga wa mshumaa Kwenye kigiza cha jioni Nikagonga ngangari Tulishushie na dagaa Ukishatoka sokoni,” reads the firts two stanzas.

To add on, in the next verse of Vumilia, Rayvanny narrates ow the girl goes to the market and has to walk back carrying the goodies.

In this case, it shows a girl who is stupidly in love and is willing to wait for the best. Actually, this song Vumilia is very relevant to today’s generation. Great job Rayvanny.

Rayvanny with special valentines gift Vumilia

In another stanza, the Tanzanian star comes with a different thought but still in line with exercising patience in love.

“Kisha tufunge safari Itayochukua masaa Utokwe jasho mgongoni Na venye nina machachari Nikikushika kibaa Utamu hadi kinondoni,” adds the Wasafi signee.

Even as the message keeps getting strong for Vumilia, it seems the guy is good in bed.  Rayvanny has made it clear that he can still please her even without money. What a lovely jam!

To add on, even as we keep on showing love, there is something unique about this Vumilia jam as it seeks to show there is more in love.

In conclusion, Ravanny has done a good job in Vumilia which earns him a rating of 8/10.

Rayvanny band together with Karen for One

Rayvanny is back with a new hit One which is part of his new album flowers. In this new piece of work, the Wasafi signee has featured a beautiful queen by the name Karen.

Also, One is a love song that shows how one is ready to fight for their love. One is a valentine special son. As we all know, valentines will up in a couple of days.

To start with, One is a great song as it has been served by the best voice in Bongo. Rayvanny is known for his great work. Actually, the song sounds like a  response song.

Rayvanny band together with Karen for One

One is a valentine special song

First, you notice Rayvanny sings first then Karen follows suit. It s worth noting that the beats to this song are well thought of and delivery is fine.

Without wasting a lot of time, let’s get to understand the lyrics. On this one, you’ll agree with me that Rayvanny’s lyrical prowess is unmatched.

“Unanijua jua Fundi wa kunipeti peti Tukigawiana joto Kwenye kimvua vua Tujifunike blanketii  Tukitafuta watoto,” reads the lyrics.

Rayvanny band together with Karen for One

In addition to the great beats and audio, Rayvanny is talking of the things that lovers do while outside for fun.  To start with, in this One they are sharing love in the rain and for sure it feels awesome.

Further, into the song, it is clear that the guy has been carried away by the beauty of the girl. Also, he talks of how cool and calm she is.

“Sura yako ya upole Sauti yanitoa vipele vya ngozi Tamu kama kenge ya shilole  Tena umbo lako mama huchokozi  Sikwaachi, Sitakii Sikwaachi yeah, Sitaanii,” added Rayvanny.

In addition, it is good to note that the chorus is done by Karen and she is a master in that.  In conclusion, One is a very sweet and lit song. Did I just say sweet? Yes, it is going to bring lovers together.

Last but not least, keep up with the good work Laizer Classic. Finally, One by Rayvanny and Karen gets a rating of 7/10.

Kenyan artistes only look for collaborations with Tanzanian’s whose names are almost extinct in the game

Kenyan artistes are the laziest lot in East Africa. Forgive me if you feel offended. To start with, they rarely ask for collaborations form East Africa. It is a good thing to have local collaborations.

One thing that is a fact is that they are too lazy to cross borders. Sometimes one might think it financial but come to think of it.

Only two or three of Kenyan artistes have sought collaborations with big Tanzanian artistes. The rest are so comfortable in their own zone.

Kenyan artistes only look for collaborations with Tanzanian's whose names are almost extinct in the game

Also, the problem is not that they cannot get these people to work with them but just lazy people who want things to come easy.

I am saddened by the fact that they go to look for Tanzania artistes who are already dead in the music scene. Look at Nameless and Darassa. He ought to have collaborated with the guy when he was still selling in Tanzania.

In music, one should flow with the wave and what is hot. Apart from Akothee, I am yet to see any other Kenyan artiste who has collaborated with Diamond Platinumz.

Kenyan artistes only look for collaborations with Tanzanian's whose names are almost extinct in the game

Also, it is the only way that they will make a name in Tanzania. Look at the example of Willy Paul, he has made use of Rayvanny, Tanasha has made use of Mbosso.

I feel sad that Kenyan artistes want to rush to these people when they can barely hit in their village. It takes hard work and determination to make it.

Imagine the things the Tanzanian big names are doing. Who bewitched our very own? Why is it so hard to get collaborations in East Africa?

Kenyan artistes only look for collaborations with Tanzanian's whose names are almost extinct in the game

Kenyan artistes should feel challenged considering that this artistes who are making are even taking major events in our country. I doubt there is anyone who will go for a lazy artiste.

In addition, it is time that they took the opportunity and emulated their counterparts. Look for Harmonize, Diamond, Mbosso, Alikiba, Rayvanny and the others.

Stop going for people like Mr Bleu, they can barely make it on their own.

Rayvanny drops new jam dubbed “Zipo” as he features fellow Tanzanian Baba Levo and South African Busiswa

The year began on a high note for Wasafi records superstar Rayvanny. The newly rebranded “chui’- which means leopard has strived to remain at the top of his game.

As at now, Rayvanny has dropped an amazing jam dubbed “Zipo” In which he features fellow Tanzanian musician Baba Levo and South African Busiswa.

Baba Levo is a Tanzania artist and comedian. He has featured on the Amplifier Countdown program on CloudsFM where he spoke about women from different regions of Tanzania. He hails from Kigoma.

The song is more of a dance song as its upbeat and the tempo too is that will prompt you to dance. I mean you need it in this “tough month”.

Zipo

The song is a feel-good song that seems to be talking about the beautiful features of his girls and generally how she pretty they look.

The energy in the video is more of South African origin. As much as most of the lyrics are not in English, for those who love music, this is for you.

From Rayvanny’s caption below the video, he says the idea to shoot the song on the train was a bit weird but turned out to be successful.

Busiswa

Apparently, the train was coming back from Kigoma to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Further, as it appears in the video, Rayvanny and team incorporated the effort of some Tanzanian artists.

Reason? Well, maybe to just compliment the “difficulty” of shooting the video in a moving train.

For a guy that has had a series of drama recently following his break up with his baby mama Fahyma, Rayvanny has clearly stayed at the top of his game.

The Wasafi produced song was directed by Eris Mzava the consistent director of Rayvanny’s music.

As we keep dancing to this let’s appreciate Busiswa’s input in the song.

For rating I will go for a 7/10. Your thoughts?

Rayvanny cries his heart out in his new jam Naogopa

Rayvanny is a sad man as he releases his new song Naogopa. The celebrated Wasafi singer is not having it easy after rumours of his break with lover Fayhma.

First, in Naogopa, it is all emotional as he talks about love and how he fears to fall in love. Although he did whatever he did with the vixen Nana, he is emptying his hurt out.

Naogopa is very sad and there is a pain in the whole song as he talks about his love experience.

Rayvanny cries his heart out in his new jam Naogopa

It is a very painful song telling of a heartbreak

Mapenzi chenga, Yakikupiga unasurrender, Na wengi wakipendwa, Wanasahau kuna kutendwa. These words are so painful coming from someone who was also happy.

To add on, Rayvanny e is saying that love is a beautiful journey, but it does not work out, it is okay to give up.

Wapi mkandarasi wa moyo Wa ukuta wa mapenzi unadondoka Kinacho ponza wengi ni moyo Wakikalia kuti kavu wanadondoka.

Also in this stanza, Unajisifu umempata Kumbe alo mwacha anamfata Anachotaka anakipata Wanasema hawara hana talaka. The song is just sad, in this stanza he talks of how he praises himself that he has found her, but it is only for a short while and things come crumbling.

Rayvanny cries his heart out in his new jam Naogopa

Actually, this are the best lyrics that I have heard from Rayvanny in a long time. Why is there trouble in his kingdom?  A legend literally tears down in this Naogopa hit. Less than 24 hours, the song has amassed more than 2ook views.

On to the chorus; Naogopa(naogopa) Naogopa(naogopa)  Naogopa(naogopa) Kwenye safari ya mapenzi mi nisiyasikee Naogopa(naogopa) Naogopa(naogopa) Naogopa(naogopa) Tena tochi ya mapenzi isinimulike. He is scared of love and this is evident in his voice and the strong lyrics.

In conclusion, it is sad how things happened so fast. Last but not least, Rayvanny in Naogopa gets a rating of 7/10.

Rayvanny Features Mayorkun of Nigeria in new jam ‘GimmiDat” and its a banger

Days after releasing the contested song ‘Chuchuma”,WCB Wasafi Records singer, Rayvanny has released a new single entitled  ‘Gimmi Dat”. On this jam ‘Gimi Dat’, the “Tetema” hit maker collaborates with Nigerian singer and DMW star, Mayorkun.

With, rumors of having a heated beef with Kenya’s Willy Paul. Rayvanny chose his battle  wisely which was to do more music with no response to the alleged beef.

However many would think that in his lyrics he is firing at Pozze  chini ya maji.

Anyhow, about the beef we are yet to confirm.Meanwhile lets do some lyrical break down of  ‘Gimme dat”

Lyrics

In what seems like just but basic lyrics writing, Rayvanny starts of with lyrics that to many fans he was afiring back at Willy Paul.

He says,

“Wanakutukana nini, wakati  level zako  hawafuati, mbwa wa Uswahilini, tena koko hawang’ati, unamarashi mwilini wao shombo la samaki……”

Rayvanny

Nonetheless it is a wait and see thing and as i said before we are on the look out for the juice.

At the same time, the lyrics are telling off the nay sayers of the love between him and his woman. He tells them off saying ,…tunawachoma kama nungu nungu….” In the end telling the girl he would put a ring on it. Yeah, I know its a dream for many girls but well here we are.

Moreover, he goes on to describe the kind of love he feels for her then comes in the chorus that is all about whining the waist and cooling it down.Mmmmmmh men!! Before Mayorkun comes in with his amazing voice to back up on the chorus and bridge.

Just incase you miss dancing this song is just about it.

Production

For song that praise the woman they duo did a good job.The song is a is a Wasafi records production and audio done by Abba, shot by a Mr. C. As he put it below the video’s caption, Keep On Enjoying Good Music From Vannyboy.

For rating I will go with 7/10. Watch and tell us what you think.

Its all Juice and sauce!”Pepeta” is the new jam by Rayvanny and he features Norah Fatehi

East Africa is now going international at a very fast pace than most us expected. Wasafi’s finest, Rayvanny has clearly proven that music is just a but one language.

Days after he did a campaign song against the Xenophopbia attacks in South Africa, Rayvanny has teamed up with Canadian Singer and actress Nora Fatehi to bring us a much better jam  dubbed “Pepeta”.

Norah Fatehi

In every sense of creativity this song is  banger and will be staying top of the playlists for sometime. Why?  Look at it this way the song’s teaser got  over 5million views on youtube. Yes just the teaser.

Remember, to Africa not many people know who Norah is till she did this collaboration with Rayvanny.  Key word Africa.

Norah Fatehi is an international talent that has her own large following thus this opportunity is a big sale for Rayvanny if not other East African musicians

Pepeta

This is a feel good love song that involves more of dance than emotions.  Pepeta is Swahili for “sift”, however for this song’s concept its all about whining the waist.

At the beginning of the song Rayvanny starts off with, “Bad Girl you can be my baby mama I wanna take you place we can chill for the summer Your body language Tropicana Private jet we can fly to bahamas Flat tummy chains on your waist ( hayaaah!!! )…….”

rayvanny

This to basically shower his woman with promises of  love and happiness if she gives him a chance. He tells her of all the goodies he  will give her to just make her happy.

As the song continues you realize that is all about dancing to the tune of love. He even dares to say she is better than his ex!!!Ouch! Butt life goes on doesn’t it?

The Norah Comes in with her beautiful vocals of course reminding the man that she is the best that can ever be. She further tells his that nobody can whine better than her when it comes to “Pepeta”. She is  a queen in her Kingdom.

Lyrics

For the song’s  lyrical break down, I must say the duo did a good job and the lyrics are very poetic and best part is they are easy to understand. For that good job.

Production

The composition was  done by S2kizzy and Tizaf Mohcine and directed by Abderrafia El Abdioui. The team did a good job even with the editing and  color mixing too. From East Africa we send love all the way to Canada this is a a big tune!

For rating I will go with 9/10. Watch and tell us what you think.

Rayvanny on Xenophoia in South Africa in his jam ‘Africa’

Rayvany talks on Xenophoia attacks in South Africa in his jam Africa.  South Africa for sometime has been experiencing a traumatizing experience. The song comes at a time when African nationals in South Africa are been tortured. Africa is a song that talks of how Africans should be one and not fight each other.

The song talks about all of us being children of Mama Africa. This is so true and no one needs to die when in search of their daily bread.

songwriter and dancer, Rayvanny calls for peace and unity on the African Continent on his latest song titled “Africa (No Xenophobia)“. In the spirit of oneness, the Tanzanian music star releases a song against the ongoing Xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

Rayvanny on Xenophoia in South Africa in his jam 'Africa'

Message on Xenophoia attacks in South Africa in  ‘Africa’

It is a good thing that our artists are coming out to defend their fellow Africans. Actually let me say that South Africans are just  a lazy lot. They want to thrive in other people’s sweat and just seat down and enjoy.

Rayvanny has done a great thing coming up with a song talking to all Africans. We need to be a people who can dwell anywhere in this world. Also, African is done in the English language which most of the African countries can understand. To add on that, the video has a studio set up and with subtitles to show what the song is about.

Also, it is a good thing that he opted to talk to fellow Africans through music. Keep up Rayvanny. It is worth the effort. This is what I would call a peace song that we all need to embrace.

In conclusion, lets remain firm and calm. Africa by Rayvanny is what we need more to keep us going. The jam gets a rating of 8/10. Although it is short the message is big.

Rayvanny features Rowlene in his new jam ‘Girlfriend’

Rayvanny is back with a new jam dubbed Girlfriend. In this jam he has featured Rowlene. This is dope. The boy who is signed under Wasafi records has been doing so well. In Girlfriend, it is a collaboration of great voices.

I didn’t know that Rayvanny got such good command in English.  The style he has adopted for this song is just great. He says that he needs a Girlfriend more than a friend. Isn’t this what most people want.

Rayvanny, singer, songwriter and a in other news has a new jam

Rowlene is a South African singer songwriter and aspiring actress. Born and raised in Elsies River, Cape Town. Rowlene performed in various singing and dancing competitions as a child. She dropped her first single titled ‘Imposter’ early in 2015.

Also, I feel like Wasafi members are working under pressure to capture the whole of Africa. Recently their boss has also been doing a lot of collaborations.

Audi Production of ‘Girlfriend’

To start with, this jam got very good beats. They are just capturing one’s attention immediately. This is the second song from Rayvanny’s collection that am falling in love with.

The team behind this jam is one to sort when one wants quality. Girlfriend has been produced  by Rashdon and mixed by Lizer classic.

Ravyvanny is a great artist and he always delivers something good. Can’t wait to see the video for this jam.

Message and delivery

There is always some message in every piece of art. First, Girlfriend has been delivered in a lovely tone. This just a superb collaboration. The way Rayvanny and Rowlene are taking turns to perform their lines is just so great.

The song is at heart. What do I mean? It means that the song can be felt from the singers emotions. This something that most musicians fail to give their songs. I mean you will easily feel the flow in this jam.

To add on that, the message is all about someone who needs a lover.  It is a love song, what do you expect from Wasafi? In addition, the lyrics are great and they really emphasize on the songs title.

Also, we must acknowledge good work. This is good and these kind of mergers should keep coming.

Last but not least, I rate the song at 7/10.
