Alikiba only has clout in Kenya and Tanzania unlike Diamond Platnumz who gets media coverage in countries like Nigeria where foreign artists are rarely featured anywhere in their industry.
Bongo actress Suzan Michael alias ‘Pretty Kind’ reveals why she thinks Alikiba is not a big deal outside the boundaries of Tanzania and Kenya.
The actress stresses that Alikiba can’t be compared with Diamond Platnumz because of the influence the latter commands in foreign countries.
Popular artist not a global star
Pretty Kind claims that Alikiba has failed to have a global impact like Diamond because he has an inflated sense of accomplishment. She also says Alikiba is easily annoyed and likes ‘catching feelings’.
“Alikiba ni msanii maarufu wala sio staa, mimi nimekaa nje kwaio nimekuwa nikiona watu wanavyomfatilia diamond na kufatilia nyimbo zake lakini watu hawamjui kiba.wakati mwingine huwezi kujua ni wapi mtu anakosea lakini kwa Alikiba naona kama anatabia ya kuvimba na kujiona amemaliza kila kitu,” said Pretty Kind.
