Otile Brown releases new song dubbed ‘Samantha’ (video)

Singer Otile Brown has released his new song dubbed “Samantha” weeks after parting ways with Vera Sidika.

The song comes after several assumptions that the singer has already moved on and gotten himself another hot bae after his ugly spat with the socialite.

The song was produced by Teddy B and the video shot by popular Tanzanian video director Hanscana.

Warm reception

The song comes just a day after Otile released an audio dubbed “Niende”. According to Otile, he decided to release the two songs back to back because one was delayed.

“Hii ndio zawadi yenu nlio wapangia ila last week nilichelewa kui releases nikaona ni release #Niende ili nisiwa disapoint kisha hii #Samantha ni release mwanzo wa wiki hii amabapo ndo leo .. Nisiwe mnafiki huu mwaka umekua wa mafanikio kwangu na yote kwaajili ya Mungu na support yenu , natumai mwaka ujao utakua ata zaidi mana nimepanga kujiongeza sana .Asanteni and God bless y’all.” he said.

Unlike several other Otile songs that he released while with and after break up with Vera Sidika, this one has gotten a good reception from fans and is already number one on trending list.

Otile Brown finally opens up on why he had to show Vera the door

Singer Otile Brown and Vera Sidika are not lovers any more. Sidika first made the announcement on her platform that Oitle used and dumped her leaving many shocked.

Kenyans, or should we say women, took to Otile’s platform to rebuke him for his action forcing the singer to come out and speak on why he had to part ways with the flamboyant socialite. According to Otile, Vera is just playing victim in this whole saga. He didn’t share why he dumped her though.

There is something she did that really turned me off and ever since the relationship has been on a sinking grounds, fights all the time and I could feel the distance between us even when we’re together, the love was fading away,” said Otile.

He added:

“I believe she wrote all that not coz she’s hurting but coz she was afraid of what social media will say after realizing that we ain’t no longer together and maybe have moved on with another queen coz SHE cares so much about what Social media think and say but me Hehehe I don’t care, you can just tell coz I don’t turn off the comments section no matter how bad people insult me. I loved Vee sana and cared so much about her those who knows knows, but she’s trying to make me look heartless and a user so other queens would see me different and be cautious anytime am trying to make a move towards any,”  added Otile.

Not now Oti! Vera Sidika not yet ready to have kids

Socialite Vera Sidika recently opened up about becoming a mother and it wasn’t good news –or maybe it was– to lover Otile Brown who has dated her for almost six months now.

Vera took to social media to tell her fans that as much as she’s in love with Otile, kids are not something shes want currently. Because babies always cry and when they do, they freak her out.

Vera and Otile are also taking things slow but have hinted once in a while that they are thinking of a wedding. They have also introduced each other to their parents.

Otile Brown forced by Kenyans to stop skipping leg day after trolls that he has skinny leg

Kenyans recently took to social media to bash Vera Sidika’s boo, Otile Brown for having skinny legs and buffed hands all thanks to his imbalanced workout routines.

Many were quick to troll, and advise the popular singer to hit the gym but work on his legs too instead of his upper body only.

Otile took it to heart and actually decided to follow their advice.

“They’ve been making fun of my legs. Some of us are not luhyas, please understand. Working on it though,” he wrote.

Changes

He shared a few photos actually working on his legs and soon, we might actually see a balanced Otile and may be, just may be, a happier Sidika.

Otile Brown’s TBT photo leaves Kenyans laughing and finally believing ‘you aren’t ugly just broke’

Otile Brown’s photo way as a young kid has left many in stitches from his ashy looks. Many times Kenyans have used ‘you aren’t ugly just broke’ to explain how celebs have changed once they get money.

Otile Brown’s photo is the perfect example.

Changes

He was born and raised in the coastal city of Mombasa. He is the last born in a family of five – three brothers and one sister. Otile discovered his talent at tender age of 12. He started singing and writing music at age 13. Once he stepped into Nairobi, the singer has really changed and now that he’s with Vera Sidika, expect nothing but more changes.

Here’s the photo:

Outrage as Vera’s boy Otile Bown picked to curtain raise for reggae superstar Chronixx

Singer Chronixx is in town and is scheduled to perform today at KICC in another anticipated show. It will be the second time the singer is performing in Kenya.

A section of Kenyans, however, are not happy with the organisers after they slotted Otile Brown, an RnB singer, in the line up. Kenyans took to social media to call out the organisers claiming that it’s a disgrace to let such a singer perform at a reggae show.

Wrong guys

Chronix

Other artists scheduled to perform in the event include Wyre and Naiboi –another artist who is way out of the reggae line.

Chronixx, who has just released a 26-track mix-tape titled Roots and Chalice, is touring the globe but shared that Kenya is one of his best place.

Orie Rogo Manduli: Vera Sidika is very stupid. I feel sorry for her parents

While speaking about the new socialite culture that is currently being experienced in urban areas, Orie Rogo Manduli, a fashionista by nature and an ex-beauty queen, had some harsh words for popular city socialites who have been dominating the headlines.

“Role models for young girls are not there anymore. They are following the so-called socialites who are nothing but high-end prostitutes,” she said on Citizen TV’s JKL talk show on Wednesday, May 23.

Feeling sorry for their parents

She believes socialites like Vera Sidika and Hudda Monroe are an embarrassment to the society and should totally be ignored.

“You media people are spawning something dangerous by promoting such characters. I think this Vera Sidika woman is very stupid. Shame on her. She is an embarrassment to women, and I feel sorry for her parents. I hope they tried their best to advise and guide her,” she once told Standard Digital in an interview.

Otile Brown: Someone is threatening me because my manager called his team unprofessional

Otile Brown has come out to shun event organisers who act shady. According to the love stricken singer, he had to bash a few event organisers who wanted to work with his team but didn’t follow the correct channel.

Otile shared that after blasting an organizer for this, he’s been receiving threats ever since.

“Kenyan artistes have to be respected. If some artistes choose to be paid peanuts and be treated like nothing in the name of “we’ll give you more gigs “ Ni sawa but wen it comes to me ?‍♂️ bruh! you’ll respect me ,” he said.

He went on:

“They say niko na kichwa ngumu na Maringo/Madharau coz am so strict when it comes to my job and now someone is threatening me coz my manager hanged up on him after his team tried to pull a stunt on us being so unprofessional ?‍♂️ brah get over your feelings and bring it on , I don’t care brah , I work so hard you are going to respect my grind .. ARTISTES just wake up . We don’t need them , we both need each other . We work so hard maze !!!.

Otile Brown reveals the last words his mum said before she died

Losing a mother at a young age must be devastating but since death is something no human power can control, we just have to face it and let life move on.

There are a few celebrities in our midst who lost their parents at a young age but looking at them no one understands the struggles they went through to get where they are now.

However, for one Otile Brown has opened up about his mama who passed on when he was 14 years. Through a post he shared on his Instagram page, the singer revealed that his mother had so much confidence in him to a point where she blessed him moments before she took her last breathe. He wrote to say,

When I was 14,a day before my mama passed on , She looked into my eyes and said “I am not worried about you,you will be ok.”She had so much confidence in me that I just had to believe in myself even more.We will always celebrate you mommy .R.I.P Totoo. #feelingemotional #wcw #justemotionstakingmeover #missyoumommy #confidenceiskey

Now he is among the top artistes in the country doing well in their musical career and judging from his moves, Otile is destined to go far. He might not show how much he suffered in the past but one thing is for sure…his mothers words are truly coming to pass.
