Let’s make one thing clear, love is inevitable. As much as it exists, not every love is genuine. And Obinna is wise enough to learn about this. He recently shared via his Instagram that most women would actually pretend to love you when you have money.

But popular forex trader Sammy Boy thought otherwise. To be honest, both of them aren’t that bad financially, but they each have different sentiments.

After God, fear women! Genuine love from women is a gem that not every man gets; especially when they get money. And I mean good money. It’s the only time when women will flock your DM seeking for a chance to be with you. Some reach a point that they’ll do merely anything to have a piece of you.

Remember the 60 year old guy who used a whooping Ksh 700,000 within a week on a woman? She enticed him and he got convinced. The woman would later swindle him all the cash- well played hit & run.

For those who end up being convinced, it normally ends the same way for them. Some get robbed off their money & belongings.

For some like comedian Oga Obinna, the latter sentiments will suffice. He agrees that it’s hard to get genuine love when you become rich. I mean, most chicks are after swindling your money to enrich themselves.

Tanzanian musical star Diamond also agrees that if it was not for his wealth, women wouldn’t love him as much. He reminisced how broke he was and didn’t have women in his life. But now, women are all over him.

Kiss FM’s Oga Obinna is once again trending on online tabloids after he recently left fans in the lurch by introducing who seemed to be his new lover.

At first, Obinna shared a photo of himself in tandem with the new chick; but hid her face with the intent of keeping her out of social media. Of course he fell terribly as fans meticulously unearthed the real identity of the lady.

Oga Obinna however, hilariously responded to fans who exposed him; saying that tattoos and physique look alike at times.

But it’s evident that this was just Pendo. Additionally, Obinna’s taste for girls with a big ‘nyash’ has been conspicuous over the years. Remember when he dated Sherlyne Anyango.

Despite having numerous baby mamas, Obinna is proving that he’s insatiable when it comes to women- something which he’s supposed to change and focus on his children more.

Comedian Oga Obinna and Mama Alola have 3 kids together if I am not wrong. And just think about it – would a man really have 3 kids with a woman he doesn’t adore? And would a woman be willing to start a family actually have more than one kid with a man see’s no future with? Absolutely no.

Well for this reason – I want to take you back to the happy times Oga Obinna used to have with Mama Alola next to him. From the photos, we also understand these two started dating when they both had nothing but back then – love was sweeter compared to now that they’ve made it.

When you hear people say money changes people – I want to believe that this is what happened between these two. It appears Oga Obinna has trouble back at home with one of his baby mamas by the name of Mama Adalola who claims the fella has been bad mouthing her around the kids and as you knows – kids listen, and without thinking- just act because they heard it from an adult.

Anyway from the screenshots shared from Mama Adalola’s page we believe that a lot has been happening behind closed doors; and this being a family matter – probably it’s best to watch from the sidelines.

As seen on one of the screenshots, the lady implies that Obinna is the kind of man that would rather take his kids from their mum in order to support and give them a good life; and not one who offers child support if the kid remains with the mum. Tricky sana. But I can promise he is not the only one.

Although Obinna might not have the best reputation on social media at the moment, there are those who have applauded him for refusing to engage Mama Alola in bitter online exchange.

Actually what he did is respond by saying he will not out her for what she does or tells (insults) him behind closed doors – only because she is the mother of his two daughters. Otherwise social media would get to know who she is.

I know in a relationship there’s always that one person that loves more than the other, there’s also those who trauma bond; and sometimes you end up with someone with toxic traits borrowed from those who brought them up.

In this case – we all know that Obinna did not have a good relationship with his father. Speaking about their relationship as father and son – Obinna says his dad always picked on him for being too cheeky.

Well – I know most of y’all think it’s glamour and glitter but wait until you have a young girlfriend whose thinking is like that of a teenager. I mean, why else do you think these wababaz prefer younger girls? They’re gullible and naive enough to be swayed in any direction.

For this reason Oga Obinna says he doesn’t want to be the reason he influences somebody’s daughter the wrong way. Speaking to Kamene during their morning Kiss FM show – the father of 4 said;

I have said it a million and one times, I feel like young girls are still trying to find themselves. Then if they are there with you, you are going to define their lives which I’m not about that life.

Not trying to attract Karma

Well it’s actually understandable why he doesn’t like young girls and why he fears getting on their bad side. I mean he is a father and above all has a daughter who will one day grow up – and seeing how Karma works….I guess keeping off immature ladies might just save his own blood some tears. I do not want to define someone’s life, when they mirror me…. Okay this is what I mean, most girls how they end up in their 30s is the boyfriends they dated in their 20s.

Growing up with parents who barely show you any love can be traumatizing for any child and I guess this is why a grown man like Oga Obinna, still wishes he had a more loving dad.

I mean, it’s no secret that his dad treated him different because of his cheeky behavior which ruined their relationship. Speaking just recently, Obinna opened up about his struggling relationship with his dad saying;

I never had a father figure. I was the loud one and the noisy one. I used to think I was cursed because a mistake would happen, and my dad would beat me without finding out what happened. You will find that probably it was not me, but because he already beat me, so I would never snitch on the other person.

For that reason they both grew apart and Oga Obinna still held on to the grudges saying;

I am the type of person who holds grudges. I can hold grudges over years. So when he kicked me out of his home, I held that grudge. When I came to Nairobi, did everything I did, and Obinna happened, I said I am not going to forgive him.

Kiss FM presenter Oga Obinna is said to be a dad of many and why most tend to judge him is because he has had 3 baby mamas and 4 kids. To any woman, this would come off as a red flag but there’s also something unique about him.

 

Maybe Oga Obinna isn’t the type to settle down with one woman – stay committed for life; but all I know is that he is a good dad to his 4 kids. Unlike other men who run away from their kids simply because their dads took off too or even mistreated them when young – Obinna does the opposite.

Rumor has it that all his kids are enrolled in private schools, child support is taken care of and he remains present in his kids lives – something his own daddy never gave him. Speaking recently during an interview with Buzz central Oga Obinna opened up about his strained relationship with his dad saying; the old man never accepted him as a son and was always picking on him.

He was no father to me

According to Obinna, his dad preferred his eldest brother over him simply because Obinna was the trouble marker of the family. Opening up about his experience, the fella said;

Speaking about what led to their fallout recently, the fella said;

A situation happened in the family Whatsapp group, and he came guns blazing towards me. I was not the one with the mistake, and he had heard stories from one side. I listened to the voice note and tried to explain to him what had happened. I even told him I was trying to remedy the situation, but he continued unloading and I also unloaded and told him, ‘listen ni**a, you were never there, and you are not telling me sh*t’. It was very bad and I was like ‘everybody back to their corner, don’t call me and don’t talk to me.’ So I decided to cut him off again and focus on my life. I blocked and exited the group, and we are back to where we began.

This however comes after the Kiss FM presenter had just built him a home and had gifted him a car – just as a token of appreciation to his dad – but then again, to his father’s eyes Obinna wasn’t good enough.

‘I miss you badly’ is the latest statement we saw from Sherlyne Anyango to Oga Obinna after she left to the States to hustle. It’s not easy to be separated by circumstances and Obinna was left in the lurch after Anyango left.

Well, from his message to Sherlyne, it was evident that he felt the pinch of her girlfriend leaving the country;

”When we said nothing would come between us we didn’t consider VISA????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????. Long Distance Haiwesssss just like you said and I have decided to agree????????????…

Apart from this, yesterday Sherlyne posted a video with who seemed to be her new ‘mzungu’ boyfriend. The two could be seen getting cosy.  This is what got many people comforting Obinna. He has now made it clear that he isn’t affected by the latter and he’s okay.

It’s important to choose your friends wisely, especially during this tough time. They’re the only ones who can help you out when you’re stuck. Oga Obinna’s friend, by the name Chak, has received the gift of being a good friend.  Obinna revealed that Chak used to help him when he was suffering in Nairobi.

Fast forward, Obinna made it and now has been able to afford to buy a car for his friend.

Emotional Chak couldn’t hide his joy as he went on his knees in disbelief.

Oh his gram, Obinna wrote;

Comedian Oga Obinna has opened up on how frustrations from the government has immensely affected his business and lives of Kenyans. On his Instagram, Obinna furiously explains how he’s tired with the current government. He also admonished Kenyans to vote wisely in the coming election to avoid such a government. He wrote;

Local celebrities have recently helped many people to raise funds for various motives, most of which have been medical-related issues. The more followers a celebrity has, the better the chances of contributing good money. People are taking advantage of their social media platforms and inboxing them for help; some are genuine, some are not.  Before asking them for help, you should also have supported their brand by following them on social media, or liking their posts etc.

Comedian Obinna insists that help should go both ways. If you want him to support you, do the same and support his brand. He has made it clear that he will not help anyone who doesn’t reciprocate the same. One of his fans asked him to help in raising funds to buy a standard professional camera for his business. But Obinna had other ideas. He slammed the fan and used the request as an example to the rest. He wrote,

”Before you ask me for any help… Kindly ask yourself.. (if you are on social media or not), Do I support his brand to make waves which translates to money in any-way no matter how small?? Award-winning comedian and singer Obinna Ike Igwee, better known as Oga Obinna, has released a new jam and it’s getting so much love from his fans.

The track dubbed For The Instagram basically talks about the fake lives that many people, especially ladies, show on their social media platforms, more so Instagram.

According to Obinna, girls not only filter their photos but they also lie about visiting certain destination and pretend to own certain things yet some of them don’t even have a job to begin with.

He says that they fake their lifestyles to make others see that they are living the good life and it is not necessary since they are only fooling themselves.

I honestly don’t know what to make of this song. The first time I listened to it, I felt it was so mediocre not because of the message but the way it was packaged.

Oga Obinna has been in the entertainment industry for a while and I feel he could have done better with this track as is the case with some of his releases but then again maybe that’s just me.

However, the beat and instrumentation is really impeccable and this doesn’t come as a surprise seeing as it was done by the one and only Mavo On The Beat.

The video is a collection of short clips, presumably for Instagram, and in my opinion the person who was tasked with putting them together did not do a good job at all.

Oga Obinna brings Micone on board in new jam ‘Tonight’ and it’s totally awesome (Video)

Talented comedian and singer Obinna Ike Igwee, better known as Oga Obinna, has teamed up with Micone – a group which is made up of Young Dee, Wanjo and Jey Li – on his latest jam and we really love it.

The song titled Tonight, which is all about having a good time, has been getting a lot of airplay on both TV and radio stations since it came out a few days ago.

The reason I really love this track is because it epitomizes Oga Obinna’s growth as a musician. I think naysayers have started taking him seriously because he has proven time and time again that he has it in him.

Tonight is really infectious, perhaps you’ll agree with me after listening to it. I also love the fact that it is a break from all the risque songs that have been topping charts in the last two years or so.

Notably, Micone also did a great job on this jam. Their voices and style blends so well with that of Obinna and I think they need to release more songs together.

To be honest, this is my first time listening to a track by the trio but it’s definitely not my last. I do not know his name but the guy on the last verse really sounds like Nyashinski or is it just me?

The beat and instrumentation on this jam was also impeccable. If you know Starbizz then you must be aware that he never disappoints. The video was also dope, it’s simplicity notwithstanding.

The comedian revealed this through his Instagram page where he shared a well detailed post explaining his situation with one, Robert Ouko.

According to Obinna, this man has been using excuses to con people around and before realizing about his so called friend – the comedian had been vouching for him only to end up as a victim of the scam!

The above person is a criminal. He is a Conman pretending to be a debt collector. If you have any dealings with him stop them immediately. Always soft spoken and pretends to be a good human. It’s sad that the same people you think you are helping are the same ones who turn out to be snakes. I’ve known this fellow for quite a number of years and he is always asking for small amounts for small emergencies from “my daughter is sick,my mum is sick,my rent etc and I always come through for him as I do for many others as well….I personally recommended jobboz for him and always wondered why there were complaints from differentpeople and I always vouched for him.

According to Obinna, his main reason for reaching out to Robert Ouko was to get help with his money since the person he had lent it to had been dodging him. Obinna went on to say;

So finally about 3 months ago I gave him a task to recover a huge sum of money from some importer guy who owed me. Nigga went took the cash and kept quiet????????????????????????????. I decided to go arrest the importer guy only to be given receipts of this nigga being paid the whole amount ????????. Calling “my friend” , nigga doesnt pick calls, so I texted him that I have information he got the doe, nigga started complaints…”oooh I’m sorry I got your cash but used it for I had an emergency blah blah..????????????????????I’ll be paying you back in small instalments over a period of time”????????????????(he wasn’t paid back my money in small instalments rem,it was a lump sum) So I decided to talk to our friend who introduced us so as to confirm is he really had an emergency and really needed the mulla only for him to also complain of a number of times he has been personally conned and a number of people that have been complaining about this same individual “our friend”.

Sadly, seems like the comedian ended up with the real conman on his corner.

Hot 96 resorts to rotating comedians to co-host morning show with Jeff Koinange following Jalango’s exit

Jalang’o quit Hot 96 to join Milele FM where he hosts the morning show together with Alex Mwakidau whom he worked with for four years at Radio Jambo.

Jalas co-hosted ‘The Hot Breakfast’ alongside Jeff Koinange for a year before he finally quit. Hot 96 is yet to find Jalas’ replacement, or perhaps they have adopted a new strategy altogether.

On Monday August 6th Jeff hosted the morning show with comedian Sleepy David. But apparently Sleepy isn’t a permanent replacement per se.

Rotational hosts

Several other top comedians will also be co-hosting the morning with Jeff Koinange. The likes of Oga Obinna and Professor Hamo are lined up to co-host ‘The Hot Breakfast’ on different dates.

Former Churchill show comedian Obinna is making big moves unlike many. He seems to have made enough money through his radio career and comedy shows.

Judging from the two photos shared on his Instagram, Obinna is now building a family house for his wife and kids at an undisclosed location somewhere in the country.

Though the building is still unfinished, he seems to have put in a lot of effort as the walls and roof are the only things remaining now.

Comedian Obinna finally unveils his new born daughter’s face

Oga Obinna is a father of a new born baby girl welcomed a few months ago. He proudly announced this on his Instagram as he introduced the baby girl to his social media family but we never got to see her face.

However, the comedian has finally shared a photo of his adorable cute baby girl on his social media unveiling her face for the first time. Judging from the photo he shared, one can’t help notice what a healthy and chubby baby he has and if anything she seems to share some striking resemblance with her mum.

Anyway, the family photo was taken at Sarakasi Dome and the comedian is seen with his wife and their eldest daughter. If I am not wrong, seems like Obinna finally decided to settle down with the mother of his youngest daughters though we all know he has other children with different baby mamas.

Obinna has a new ‘do! The comedian debuted some crazy dread locks on his Instagram and he seems to love them judging from the number of photos he shared on his gram.

He certainly looks good with the long hair and Whether he borrowed the hairdo from Chris Darling, the singer cum comedian doesn’t care as he  is rocking them his way!

The comedian who also happens to be the latest dad in town has been trying out a couple of new hairdos for the past few years which include baby locks and Mohawk hair cuts as revealed on Instagram. Anyway, While he didn’t give any explanation for trying out the dreadlock look, he definitely approves of it — he captioned the photo,
