Just a few years ago, comedian Njugush was just another actor struggling to make ends meet. Things however took a positive direction when he started doing videos on instagram that really captivated Kenyans on social media.
Now that the comedian has gotten a few shillings, he has invested the money in some several-roomed mansion in the outcasts of Nairobi.
Taking to instagram, the popular comedian shared a photo of the house he’s currently building with his wife Celestine Ndinda. The two have been together now for almost a decade and work together in entertaining Kenyans.
Starting out
Njugush recently narrated how the two have come far from the days they used to be broke while still in campus.
“She was a very supportive girlfriend. I was an evening student with no accommodation, no food or anything. I was always broke, really broke! My dad used to send me Sh5,000 for upkeep. I used to take her to eat fish in South B, which cost Sh1,500. By the 10th day of the month, I would only have Sh100 to survive on! Sometimes she would offer to give me some money from what she got from selling clothes, but I usually refused,” he said.
