Celebrity actress and fashion blogger, Neomi Ng’ang’a is yet to say no to marriage but it is the qualities of men around her that she looks to sharpen.
Having previously been severely cyberbullied over her size and body image, the now braved-up plus size model has spoken ahead of her prospected relationship-cum-marriage to the man of her dreams.
Up and close with ex-K24 news anchor, Mwanaisha Chidzuga, on her Dada2Dada Uncensored, a dear Neomi clarified that a man needs to believe in themselves first before the world can believe in them.
She opined that any man who had faith that he can crack the puzzle of the way to her heart was as good as already in the playground.
Second, she needs a God-fearing man whose faith is deeply rooted in God.
Rich or poor?
The bone of contention however came in when Mwanaisha threw in the question of ‘rich or poor’ and a dumbstruck Neomi could not help but mumble at the question.
Struggling to find the best suited answer but without seeming abusive, Ms Ng’ang’a clarified that it is not in the size of wealth of a man that her love lies, but in his preparedness and aspirations of the future.
For Neomi, a man can come riding a bicycle, but what is his goal? Does he look forward to a better life? Is he already working hard to build a comfortable, beautiful home with his prospective wife?
“I have personally worked hard in life to get to where I currently am. So I would not want to settle with a man who will pull me down instead. Even if they don’t have that big car, they should have a strategy on how to get one. Come let’s support each other but at least have that dream and potential in you. Don’t just come telling me you will work on your dreams, you should have already started working on them,” remarked Neomi.
Her final question was, “All those years I have been working hard myself, what have you been doing?” Have a listen to the interview:
