Prominent Kenyans who have defended Kobi Kihara so far after she was caught stealing

Former NTV presenter Kobi Kihara has been busted by Kenyans faking for the gram whereby she has been stealing photos from other people and posting them as hers.

Using the hashtag Kobicat, Kenyans have expressed their displeasure over her acts warning other celebrities to stop faking their lifestyle on social media.

Others, however, have defended her.

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s niece Nana Gecaga and Dennis Itumbi have come out to encourage the former presenter who is in the US not to give up and keep chasing her dreams.

“Given your eye for detail, I am sure you can replicate no problem. I will confirm when I come to visit your stateside. Hope you are will though and keep up the great work with your studies now that is all you and very impressive,” Nana said.

Itumbi, who has been trolled also several times on social media, also chipped in, going against the follow.

“Dear KobiKihara, memorize this tweet. When you see and read this hashtag KobiKiharaChallenge, shake your collar, take enough photos, do not argue or explain.

“Just smile and look for a dance floor. It is never that serious. From a brother who has faced this enough times.”

 

Uhuru’s niece Nana Gecaga: I would have been an Olympic champion but alcohol ruined all that

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s niece Nana Gecaga had dreams of winning a gold medal while younger but she recently shared that alcohol addiction set her on another path.

The KICC director, who has opened up reveal times about her alcohol addiction, told Kiss 100 that in 1996 she was really hoping she’ll come back home with an Olympic gold medal but the addiction materialized. She was in campus then.

“The person you see here today has had many lives before who I am today. My passion was actually sports. I was a very big athlete back in the day, and I actually qualified for the ’96 Olympics.” she said.

“I used to love, soccer, football and basketball. At the same time, I also wanted to be a game changer and help people, because if you are in a position where you can help, just help because it doesn’t cost you anything.”

New path

She went on to add that the habit costed her her dreams after going to University in America. She had plans of changing the world but all seemed shattered after the addiction. Nana finally settled on leadership because she also wanted to be a leader.

“My first year at the university in America was very rocky, and that is where my everything fell apart. I was an addict of alcohol but I was able to go to rehab and from there, it’s been 19 years without drinking.”

Adding:

“It definitely builds character because it takes a lot of strength to acknowledge that you have a problem, whatever it is. Getting out of it is something I am happy about because most people do not manage.”

Wedding bells! Singer Nana to finally settle down with her new found love after catching her ex fiancé in bed with her best friend on their wedding day

Nana who is a well known actress and singer has finally met someone new and from she says, they are to get married soon – as she seems to be the perfect man for her.

This is the second time she is getting engaged as she walked out on her pilot fiancé who was caught red handed getting intimate with Nana’s bestfriend on the same day he was to wife the singer.

Speaking to Pulse, Nana opened up about her new life saying that she has moved on and is now in love with a man who will soon become her husband. She told Pulse;

True. I am in love and I finally plan to settle down with someone who loves and understands me as well as what I do for a living.

When asked about his whereabouts, the singer said;

He does not live here. He lives in (the) US. We have been dating for quite some time now. He is not a showbiz or limelight person. Since breaking the news on Facebook, everyone has been trying to guess who this is as no one knew I was dating.

We wish the two all the best as they plan to start their new life together.
