Sonko admits Miguna Miguna made mincemeat of him during Nairobi gubernatorial debate… And Kenyans couldn’t agree more

Miguna Miguna must have walked out of Daystar University with swagger after thrashing his rivals in Nairobi gubernatorial debate.

Mike Sonko bore the brunt of Miguna’s scathing attack because he was the most vulnerable of the three candidates present during the debate.

The Nairobi Senator has since acknowledged that he performed dismally in the debate, Sonko said he wasn’t good with debates but assured Kenyans his rivals couldn’t match his development record.

“Mimi sio Mtu Wa Debate I’m good at Development….Barabara hazijengwi kwa debate.Wakenya wanahitaji good roads and that’s my ideology,”wrote Sonko.

Kenyans couldn’t agree more with the Nairobi Senator, see some of the reactions below:

Saumu Mbuvi’s message after her dad was pounded like cassava flour in Nairobi gubernatorial debate

Nairobi gubernatorial debate was interesting to watch, of course Miguna Miguna came on top and Sonko performed poorly because he couldn’t express himself fluently and coherently in English.

Miguna Miguna made mincemeat of his competitors during the debate, the former PM aide crashed his opponents as he distinguished himself as the only candidate with integrity and competence.

Sonko was not very lucky competing with academic giants – Miguna Miguna, Evans Kidero and Peter Kenneth, the Nairobi Senator was intimidated with his rivals who spoke fluent English and articulated themselves better; Sonko resorted to answering questions in Swahili.

Sonko’s daughter Saumu Mbuvi took to social media after the debate to urge the youth not to be fooled by her dad’s opponents who had great command of the Queen’s language. Saumu reminded people that her dad was the better option for Nairobians.

“To My fellow Youths , Lets not be blinded by men in suits with imported English .We are the future and we need a leader who stands with us by all times. We need a leader who fights for us ,understands us and Moreso walks with us.Mike Sonko has been the only leader providing employment for the youths wengine walikua wapi ??…Sonko has been for us and forever with us,” wrote Saumu Mbuvi.
