Radio presenter and host of the Mseto East Africa show Willy M Tuva has come out to express how much he will miss his show and die hard fans now that he is heading to the USA.

Well, Mzazi will be heading to Dallas, Texas, for a while since he will be among celebrities gracing the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) set to go down this weekend.

In a different post, the radio presenter went on to thank his fans for the continued support all though. He went on to thank them for voting for him after being nominated for the Afrimma  awards. He wrote saying;

Mzazi Willy M Tuva finally steps in to support Ten Ballz after 8 years of trying to get help

One Kiboma K Chibupa popularly known by his stage name Ten Ballz worldwide is among the top rising stars in the Kenyan music industry thanks to his song Mchezo which has been receiving much airplay in Kenya and Bongo.

However not many know much about the young singer giving many artists a run for their money. Well speaking to the singer, Ten Ballz worldwide got to open up about his childhood and the struggles he faced before to where he is right now.

After finishing his Form four in Tanzania the young man says he did not get the opportunity of furthering his education due to lack of school fees. He was then forced to sell the small piece of land his father left him in-order to see whether he would get an opportunity to join Medicine school in Kenya; and the same time see if he would record a few songs with the little money he would remain with.

New plans

He however landed in the wrong hands and the person who was meant to help his music career ended up conning him. Three years down the line he was forced to join a college where he took languages and managed to learn French, Chinese and Italian.

Singer Ten Ballz

A few years later he the recorded his first successful single dubbed ‘mtoto wa Pwani’ and luckily had J Blessing who shot the visuals to this song.

Seeing that his career had potential to grow, Ten Ballz world says he went on to form a band which did not last for long. At this particular time the singer says he had already recorded two albums with a rapper from Denmark but unfortunately his producer’s hard disk got spoilt.

With the problems attacking him from left, right and center the singer then took a whole year-break; and now he is back with yet a new project that will see him on top music charts in the country.

The audio ‘Shakara’ was recorded in Bongo and the vsuals done in Kenya. Hopefully this will be his final breakthrough now that Kenyan music is getting back to where it used to be!

Citizen Radio introduces their new radio presenter Selly and she’s one hot lady(photos)

Radio Citizen recently made changes in its programming shuffling presenters within shows in an effort to re-brand and bring newer faces in some of the show.

Mzazi Willy M Tuva, who has been hosting Mambo Mseto show for 13 years now, in the process got a co-host. Taking to social media, Mzazi introduced Selly Kadot Amutabi as his new co-host on Mambo Mseto that runs from 1pm to 4pm.

Previously, Selly used to host Pambazuka, a gospel show that air from 4am to 6am.

“Please tosheka na wako” Msupa S calls out Mzazi Willy M Tuva for hitting on her

Mzazi Willy M Tuva has seduced a wrong woman, female rapper Msupa S has not taken it lightly that the celebrated radio presenter hit on her.

Msupa S took to social media to expose the Citizen Radio presenter, she claims that Mzazi was hitting on her even when he knows that she already has a man.

“@mzaziwilly_m_tuva pliz tosheka na wako min I’m taken .wacha kunisumbuwa,” wrote Msupa S.

Angry reactions

Msupa S’ post surprisingly drew angry reactions against her, most people claim she only wants publicity since she could have solved the matter with Mzazi himself privately instead of exposing him on social media.

“Did you pay attention to the question I asked the governor?” Mzazi Willy Tuva fires back at Nyashinski

Nyashinski launched completely unprovoked attack on Mseto East Africa host Mzazi Willy M Tuva on Friday January 4th 2019.

The rapper threw shade at Mzazi following his interview with Taita Taveta governor Granton Samboja. Mzazi shared part of the interview with Samboja on Instagram, what irked Nyashinski is that Mzazi didn’t share the part where the governor mentioned his favorite Kenyan musicians.

Nyashinski went on to accuse Mzazi of favoring foreign artistes over Kenyan artistes, this because in the IG clip Samboja mentions that ‘Kwangwaru’ is his favorite song.

Mzazi responds

The Citizen Radio presenter rubbished Nyashinski’s claims that he favors foreign artistes and doesn’t promote local talent. Mzazi listed a number of popular Kenyan musicians that he helped nurture their talent.

Mzazi Willy M Tuva forced to defend his radio show after fan claims it’s disappointing lately

Citizen Radio host Willy M Tuva was recently forced to shoot down a fan’s allegation on social media that his show has become boring.

A fan accused Willy M Tuva of taking controversial sides on his show Mambo Mseto and has been adding more fuel to the ongoing artists’ beefs in the local industry.

The fan said that Tuva should focus on playing music and supporting artists rather than banging their heads. These is after the popular radio host asked Willy Paul what he thinks about Vera’s new jam which has pulled in a lot of views.

“Fredrickwachira65 Lakini siku hizi uko na disappointments sana achana na interview za kuchochea wasanii… show yako ni ya kizazi sana Lakini unafail kwa maoni yangu Lakini,” wrote the fan.

Mzazi answered:

“Mzaziwillytuva @fredrickwachira umepanic brother1 Kazi yangu ni kuuliza maswali siwaambii wasanii cha kujibu. Nauliza maswali kwa niaba ya wasikilizaji wajue wasiojua. Siogopi kuuliza yeyote chochote. Am a professional. Vera is a new artiste and deserves support, what’s wrong with seeking Willy Paul’s advice to Vera as she joins the industry? Controversial gospel singer Willy Paul is currently in the city that never sleeps AKA New York city.

The gospel singer hasn’t shared why he has traveled to the US but a surprise post on his instagram page has left many as usually with a lot to say.

The gospel singer shared a photo with an unknown lady that left many in the fan section question who she was.

This is what caused the nasty fire at Club Tribeka

A fire broke out inside popular nightclub, Tribeka Lounge in Nairobi on Monday afternoon but there were no causalities.

According to reports, the fire was caused after an oil cooking fryer burst into flames at the establishment along Banda Street, CBD.

A  Waitress who spoke to Nairobi News, said that the fryer couldn’t go off and once they unplugged it, it burst out into flames.

“The oil in the cooker just kept on boiling. My colleague tried to switch it off but it could not go off. That is when we removed the socket from the main switch and it burst into flames.” she said.

Response

Firefighters from the Nairobi County responded and contained the fire before it could spread.

National Disaster Management Digital Officer Peter Kung’u said the staff, however, were able to contain most of the fire before the Nairobi county firefighters arrived.

Mzazi Willy Tuva: Why KBC rejected him and he why he quit being a newspaper cartoonist

Mzazi Willy M Tuva is arguably the most famous radio presenter in East Africa. But surprisingly his first job was a newspaper cartoonist.

Mzade opened up about his past in an interview with the Star. He reveals that he had a passion for radio and drawing while he was still a kid living in Lamu.

“I was also a cartoonist and sometimes my mother would scold me, asking me why I was concentrating so much on art rather than my studies. On the other hand my dad was so supportive and he bought me a drawing book. I longed for the day I would be a public figure and because I never doubted myself, I am who I am today,” said Mzazi.

Mzazi reveals his first shot at being a presenter came when he qualified for a job at KBC. The national broadcaster however rejected him because he was still a student at Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC).

“When I was a first-year student at the KIMC. I remember there was a time they were doing auditions for KBC at the college, I gave it a try and qualified. They called me for the interview and I was one of the top 10 who were selected. I ended up not being given the job since I was still in school. I asked them to give me a night show, but they refused. I almost gave up but my friend encouraged me not give up.”

Cartoonist

Mzazi resorted to being a newspaper cartoonist after failing to secure the radio job at KBC. He worked for Kenya Times before he before he quit drawing altogether when he landed a job at Citizen Radio as a presenter.

“Nikaanza kuchora. I would run from one media house to another looking for an opportunity to give my work. I remember one editor I took my drawings to told me, ‘you are cartoonist’ but he was too busy for me so he told me, ‘you see all these files,[they belong to] people like you looking for what you want. So put your files here and come later.’ I said no I won’t leave my files there and left.”

“I went there (Kenya Times) confidently with the name and presented my work to them, and the next day my cartoon was in the newspaper. I felt so happy. Later on, I had never applied for a job at Citizen Radio, but one day I was called there for an interview and I passed. I thank God He had His reasons.”

Starehe MP Charles Njugua with the help of Citizen Radio presenter Mzazi Willy M Tuva, have bailed out Tamara Risheel, a lady who made it to the headlines after claiming she’s Uhuru Kenyatta’s daughter.

Risheel was arrested and locked for three days after taking to the streets with a board written that she’s Uhuru’s daughter. Jaguar and Mzazi on Monday went to Kilimani police and bailed her out. News had earlier stated that she had been taken to meet Uhuru Kenyatta but Jalang’o said that she had been arrested.

“Tamara was not taken to Statehouse but she was a guest of the state at Kilimani police station. Kenyan musician Jaguar bailed her out after three days . Tamara has revealed that she is an artiste and she has a song for the president,” said Jalas.

She is okay with her kids being in the public eye and she is happy about it but she doesn’t want the limelight. You know how the world judges people. There was a state of euphoria on social media when former Bomet governor Isaac Ruto was seen getting haircut in the same barbershop with Mzazi Willy M Tuva.

Netizen thought the former Nasa principal was supposed to get haircut at some ritzy barbershop, that explains the excitement on social media when Ruto  was seen seated next to Mzazi Tuva getting his hair done.

The popular Citizen TV presenter shared photos of the former Bomet governor and him together at the barbershop getting their hair cut.

Bahati’s former protégé Weezdom confesses the shocking crimes he committed during his life as a thug
