It pissed him off that comedians dared to consider their online fans as their family while in reality theyre not! Clarifying that family are only blood relatives.

“Stop calling you fans family. Stop parading your every move online. You have a life! Your family is your parents, children, wife/husband. Stop frustrating them!” a bitter Churchill lectured the comedians.

Daniel Ndambuki

“Those are fans, the moment you stop being funny, they stop becoming your family,” he clarified.

But warned them that the minute they get to the top, then they better exercise strict discipline because he had had enough of burying comedian after another.

In yet another clip, Churchill clarified that he made a platform from scratch, tiring day and night to see it grow and host millions of talents to become bigger and better. But has instead been dragged into mud and all sorts of controversies.

Jalango who was on stand-by, acted as the interpreter as Churchill spoke, so that the message gets to everyone present.

The minute a comedian starts earning some good money, they attract a certain circle of friends. Some good, others not so good.

Remember, a stand-up comedian of this kind, is not guaranteed a monthly salary, so when you spend all you have today, tomorrow you might have to live without.

Veteran comedian Daniel Ndambuki

“One of the biggest challenge in the entertainment industry is the social media. So you have a big name, have a big following and you have to impress people every single day. In order to remain relevant. But sometimes, it gets out of hand,” Churchill admitted.

However, the Churchill Show founder, believes he gave the deceased a golden platform to grow his brand which he at times took with a lot of seriousness.

It is sad that majority of people who shared this journey of life with the late comedian, admitted he was very stubborn. One with bad drinking habits that might have cost him his life.

Have a listen; but may his soul rest in eternal peace.

Churchill finally speaks after Zeddy’s angry rants on social media

Churchill Show was known to be a platform that gives young creatives the opportunity to grow their talent, but for the last couple of months, it has been painted in a totally different light.

Comedienne, Zainabu Zeddy recently came out to accuse the national comedy platform for sending creatives into depression and eventually death but this did not sit well with it’s founder, Daniel Ndambuki alias Mwalimu Churchill.

The respected Godfather of comedy has finally come out public to respond to these allegations leveled against him and his platform.

Celebrated comedian, Daniel Ndambuki

Churchill Responds

During his show’s episode on Sunday, July 19, Churchill admitted he had come across the allegations, having taken him a solid 20 years of sweat and blood to raise himself to where he currently is and nothing will bring him down.

Watu wanaongea sana hadi unashindwa where do you start. Everything is a journey and it has taken me almost 20 years now to do these journey series and we are not stopping.

He hoped majority would take advantage of online platforms to grow their own brands without having to queue at Churchill Show for auditions and all that.

10 years ago you had to audition to become great but right now you can use social media. Now we are not in that era where unasema “mtu amekukazia kukua kwa stage”, oooh “sasa huyu hanitaki”.

Closing off:

We did time for you guys. Now you are a brand, you even don’t need to be a brand, you just need to have great content to change that social media to media. You don’t have to be on TV, you don’t have to be on radio.

I find it crazy. men are the most selfish people in the world. Why didn’t they say it from the word go that such things happen. They should so that someone can know what they are getting themselves into.

This is however the first time Maina Kageni has gone head to open up about his personal life; but sadly, he claims that marriage is not his cup of tea – but with no kids and wife, who will he leave all that money to?
