Kayvo Kforce delivers tight bars on his latest jam ‘Winter Income’ featuring Mr. Ke4 (Video)

Kibera-bred rapper Kevin Ambalwa, popularly known as Kayvo Kforce, has released a new track  and it’s getting a lot of love from his fans.

The jam titled Winter Inacome, which simply means winter is coming, has been ruling the airwaves since it came out a few hours ago and we are also feeling it. Like, really.

This song is warning to rappers who feel that they are so hot on the streets to be on the look-out because they will not know what hit them and why they did not see it coming.

As I was listening to Winter Inacome, I couldn’t help but acknowledge Kayvo Kforce’s lyrical prowess. This guy has a mad flow and tight punchlines. To add to that, his rhymes are out of this world.

In the first verse Kayvo Kforce says, “Buda sijali juu ya image, mistari hunuka ka sewage, jeshi inaendesha Mercedes focus on pesa sahau maladies, jaribu kulisha the babies.” Quite impressive, right?

He makes it look so easy and we all know that it is not a walk in the park. It’s not a surprise that he is still relevant to this very day.

Mr. Ke4 also aced it. He has a unique ability to play around with words and make some lit rhymes. To add to that, he also has some great punchlines.

The beat on this track is on point and it blends really well with the flow of the rappers. The video concept was simple but I feel it works for this jam because to be honest, we just care about the flow and punchlines.

Kavyo Kforce’s new jam dubbed ‘Roles’ is definitely one for the books (Video)

If there’s a super-talented Kenyan hip hop artist who is really underrated then it’s Kevin Ambalwa, alias Kayvo Kforce.

This dude has some mad bars. In my opinion, no Kenyan rapper comes close to him not even Octopizzo or Khaligraph.

Anyway, this is a story for another day. Today, we are here to talk about his new jam dubbed Roles.

In the new song, Kforce features a little-known rapper who goes by the name Mr. Ke4. You may not be familiar with that name but all you need to know that he is dope.

As expected, both artists had great delivery in this with bars that will make you pause  the song and think for a while. No kidding!

Roles is project that was released under Namba Nane Skyline – a Kibera based record label that is keen on growing talents in the slums.

The audio was produced by the one and only So Fresh while the video was directed by the super-talented Johnson Kyallo.

The shoot location was simple, the settled on a stadium which in my opinion gives this song context. The fact that there are some people who are acting as racers also won’t go unnoticed.

Watch Roles below and tell us what you think.

Kforce teams up with Mr. Ke4 for “My Ninjas”, don’t miss this jam

Kforce has teamed up with Mr. Ke4 for his new jam My Ninjas. This a collaborative project from their record label Nambanane Skyline. The duo has done some good work in this jam. My Ninjas was directed by Johnson Kyalo and produced by Yangpbeatz. It also brought in the inclusion of Calvo Mistari’s work. My Ninjas in this song is meant to mean friends.

Production

The production team did a great job. The video is of international standards and the audio is great too. The beats are well thought of. For the lovers of rap music Kforce and Mr.Ke4 have greatly thought of you. The video was shot in Kenya. The costume was well thought off. Though I feel like the duo could have given the song more energy. Johnson Kyalo did a good job on the video, It has a cinematic feel. The choice of vixens for me is dissappointing. Were they necessary?

Lyrics

The lyrics are great and you know Kforce does a good job. Lets look at some of the verses that have captured my attention; First the punchline, It’s just me and my ninjas,  it is where the title of the song lies. When he says it is just me and my Ninjas it means that it is him and his friends. Repetition has been used and it has emphazed more on what the song is talking about.

There is flow in this lyrics  and they just got meaning. “Too many friendemies, i pray for em like i pray for my enemies.”  He says he will intercede for his friends just like he does to his enemies, this is good because it shows that no hatred.

Although the Kforce has taken long to release a jam, this is some good work and he needs to put more energy. I give it a rating of 6/10.

Kayvo Kforce:I love this woman more than words can ever explain

Mother’s Day is a special day to thank and honor our mothers and appreciate their roles/efforts raising us, it goes further to celebrating the influence of mothers in society.

This past Sunday, people worldwide showered their mothers with praise, inspirational quotes and gifts just to show love and adoration.

For Kenya’s very talented Hip Hop rapper Kayvo Kforce, he decided to make his, a week plus of Mother’s Day celebration.

Kayvo last week began warming up for this great day with this special message via his Instagram page:

To those who may be unfamiliar, I was brought up in the sprawling Kibera slum. Just like many other impoverished societies, there are alot of vices that young people are prone to pick up as they grow. Most of these vices are actually deadly with violent crime, prostitution, alcoholism and drug abuse taking presidence. Having a loving and caring, strict over protective Mother helped me and my Brothers avoid the temptations that plague poverty stricken youth in my ghetto Kibera. I may not highlight my background as much as other Kenyan celebrities do but i would like to declare now that my mother has been over the years at the centre stage of my career thus far. Shes been my inspiration when i felt lost as most creatives sometimes experience and my pillar whenever i need her to be.
I LOVE THIS WOMAN MORE THAN WORDS CAN EVER EXPLAIN.

Kayvo Kforce also dropped a couple bars off his latest release #LetterToMama with @thereal.ke4

who is based in the U.S.

The rapper says, the masterpiece is a dedication to their mothers Gladys Mwoki Ambalwa and Billiah Mogusu as well as all mothers worldwide with love.
‘This is an appreciation and thanksgiving song for all the things our mothers go through and do raising children to adulthood and beyond.’ he adds.
The audio is produced by  SoFresh NP / Yang P Beats and the video is shot by Johnson Kyalo / Maxwell Kyalo for Nambanane Skyline.
