Mr Eazi Speaks Out: Embracing the Haters and Celebrating Uniqueness

In a candid interview, Nigerian singer and producer Mr Eazi addressed the persistent negativity he faces from some individuals within and outside the music industry.

Unraveling the Roots of Disapproval:

Mr Eazi acknowledged that many harbor a dislike for him, a sentiment he previously grappled with but now accepts. He attributes this disapproval to the high expectations people hold, believing they deserve more from him because of past collaborations.

“People expect so much from me because they think we’ve worked together, expecting me to go extra,” Eazi shared, emphasizing that this expectation extends beyond music.

The Irony of Hate:

Ironically, Eazi revealed that many who dislike him struggle to articulate the reason for their animosity. He believes it stems from his unconventional approach to fame, shunning the typical “celebrity” lifestyle and preferring solitude.

“It’s like when I ask them, they can’t articulate, they have no evidence,” he explained, suspecting that his introverted nature and unique online presence contribute to the negativity.

Navigating the Hate:

Eazi addressed the perception that he is undeserving of his success, which he believes fuels much of the negativity. Despite the criticism, he chooses to embrace his individuality and focus on his blessings.

“I think a lot of people think I don’t deserve a lot of things so it upsets them,” he admitted, offering a poignant message to his detractors: “Don’t hate me, hate my maker.”

From Contemplating Quitting to Embracing Uniqueness:

This openness comes just two months after Eazi revealed his own struggles with finding fulfillment as a musician. He considered abandoning music after Coachella in 2019, despite his success.

Award-winning Nigerian singer Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, better known as Mr Eazi, has released a new song with M.O and we are loving it.

The jam titled Going Out Of My Way has been ruling the airwaves since it came out a few hours ago and to be honest, we are also feeling it.

Going Out Of My Way is a beautiful composition. I’ve listened to it a couple of times since it was released and every time I play it, I feel like I’m hearing it for the first time and that is exactly how a good song should make you feel.

I do not need to say this but M.O has a lovely voice. I could listen to her all day ladies and gentlemen and she put her amazing vocals to good use in this song.

She sings from the heart and this makes it easier to connect with her on a personal level and if you love a woman who has a beautiful voice as much as I do, you’ll sort of feel like he is singing directly into your ears.

Mr Eazi also did a good job though to be honest, I wish his verse was even longer. Anyway, his voice blends well with that of M.O and I think they should form a group. Okay I’m joking but I’m sure you get my point.

The instrumentation is also dope. Other than the fact that it’s catchy, after listening to this jam I know you will agree with me that it blends well with vocals of both Mr Eazi and M.O.

Mr Eazi comes through on sizzling track ‘Come My Way’ alongside Darkovibes (Video)

There’s no doubt that Nigerian singer Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, is talented, and this evidenced by his successful singles but if you ask me, his collaborations are way better.

Take for instance a song that he released recently with upcoming Ghanaian artist Darkovibes titled Come My Way. It has been ruling the airwaves since it was released and to be honest, I’m not surprised because it’s so dope.

I have listened to it so many since it was came out and every time I play it, one would think I’m hearing it for the first time judging by my excitement.

This track simply talks about treating your girlfriend right because if you don’t someone will snatch her from you and it will not be her fault. Put simply, treat her right or someone will take over.

I mean, what better time to convey this message than now when Valentine’s Day is just a few days away? I hope guys will not pretend because of this. Anyway, I digress.

I really love this track. For starters, most of Darkovibes lyrics are in his native language but you will just find yourself singing along and you won’t even notice and that is how you know a song is on point.

To add to that, Come My Way is well arranged. It just flows and the best part, according to me is the hook by Mr Eazi because his unique voice really spices up this song.

The beat and instrumentation are also on point. Other than the fact they make this  danceable, they also blend really well with the individual music styles of the artists.

I loved the video for this track, especially its simplicity. Although, it was shot in what looks like an abandoned house the director literally breathed life into it. I also loved the styling and flawless scene transitiong.

Mr Eazi pours his heart out in latest release ‘Kpalanga’ (Video)

Award-winning Nigerian singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known as Mr Eazi has dished out his first single for 2020 and it is getting a lot of love from his fans.

The song dubbed Kpalanga, which means Go Crazy, is dedicated to servicemen and women around the world. It was actually inspired by love that Mr Eazi’ father, who was a military man, and his mother had for each other.

Basically, this song is about the sacrifices that servicemen and women have to make big sacrifices such as being away from their partners for long periods and waiting anxiously to see them.

Although some people will say it’s too mellow in comparison with Mr Eazi’s previous releases, this jam is really dope and to be honest, I was not expecting anything less from him.

Kpalanga is beautiful musical offering and a great start to the year and the way I see it, it without a slight doubt his best project to this day.

I love the fact that it’s a deviation from the Afrobeat sound that we’ve gotten used to in the last few years and maybe that’s why I can’t get enough of it.

To add to that, Mr Eazi’s vocals are really dope. As you are listening to Kpalanga, you can easily tell that the message is coming from his heart i.e. there is a lot of sincerity in his voice.

The beat and instrumentation are also impeccable. At first, I didn’t think this jam was danceable but then I saw some fire dance challenges. The video is crisp and to add to that, the scene transitioning is flawless.
