Video: Was Moses Kuria drunk as a fish on live TV? Some Kenyans believe so but you be the judge

Kenyans believe Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria was very much drunk during his interview yesterday on Citizen TV 9 oclock news.

Thousands of Kenyans took to social media to claim the politician was visibly drunk and some even wanted Citizen TV to cut short the interview.

VAT 16

The legislator was among the panelists hosted by senior Citizen TV anchor Hussein Mohammed for a discussion on several matters including the controversial fuel rise. Kuria, ended up annoying Kenyans further by stating that he supports the 16% VAT on fuel.

“I am supporting 16% VAT on fuel. I am not ashamed of it. I am not pretentious. Even if the VAT is implemented on fuel, the basic consumption products are zero-rated. Anyone who pays tax on transportation simply because of fuel is entitled to claim it back when making their annual or monthly tax returns,” said Kuria.

Kenyans attacked him saying that he was visibly drunk and his argument shouldn’t be considered. Though Citizen TV has not released a statement on the issue, many have insisted that he shouldn’t have been called for the interview.

“I owe nobody any explanations!” Says Moses Kuria after pulling down his controversial post on Facebook

Moses Kuria who is the Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has come out to say that he owes nobody an explanation for the post he shared on his Facebook a few days before Chris Msando was declared dead from what looks like murder.

Well, Kenyans are now demanding for Moses Kuria to explain how he knew Chris Msando was having a good time with ‘some lady’ at Roysambu since he seems to know much about the late IEBC ICT manager’s movements.

What makes it worse is that Kuria shared a photos of the late Chris Msando’s car before captioning the post with a statement that has left him looking guilty.

Anyway, speaking to The Standard Moses Kuria said;

“I owe nobody any explanations. The media and social media are not part of the police and I refuse to be dragged into this political circus.
It will be an exercise in futility… what will happen after explaining myself to you?”

I guess we now leave it to the police for more investigations.
