Former Citizen TV news anchor Mike Njenga is still mourning his father who was laid to rest on Tuesday. Mike Njenga now works at Inooro TV.
“Today we lay you to rest our hearts are heavy…. Our souls are burdened but even though it shall be well. R.I.P dad,” read Njenga’s caption on social media.
It’s not clear what happened to his dad and the Inooro news anchor didn’t share much.
Mike Njenga found a woman he now calls his wife and life partner. About 2 years ago he married the love of his life, Phoebe Wanjiku in a prestigious ceremony.
The wedding which cost quite an amount took place at Runda’s PCEA Evergreen church attracting close friends and family. From the wedding photos making rounds on social media, one can see how Mike Njenga and his bride enjoyed their special day.
The two have however been keeping a low profile until just few when Mike Njenga celebrated his wife on their 2nd wedding anniversary.
In a short message he wrote saying;
“It’s been a wonderful Journey with the most amazing Girl in my life…… Happy anniversary my Love Shiko Njenga (you jump I jump).”
