Amira and Michelle Wangari, both mothers to Somali businessman Jimal Roho Safi’s children, have warmed hearts by openly expressing their admiration for each other online. Amira, Jimal’s first wife, shares two sons with him, while Michelle, his second partner, has a daughter.

Their growing bond was highlighted when Michelle posted a heartfelt video featuring Jimal and two of his children, with a caption addressing societal judgments: “Them: Nobody is going to want you with 1 kid.” The video, which captured touching family moments, sparked conversation among netizens, with some warning Michelle about the potential for Jimal to leave her, as he had done with previous partners. Michelle, however, remained unbothered by these comments.
Amira also joined the conversation, complimenting Michelle’s children and noting the resemblance between Jimal’s daughter and her own son. “The little one looks exactly like Shamir. They are his big brothers, and I know my kids would love her for sure,” Amira said, showing support for Michelle in raising her daughters.
