KTN’s Straight Up host Chero ditches station after getting international deal

KTN presenter Chero Oywa will be leaving the station after landing a new offer from an international media company.

Taking to social media, the KTN presenter who hosts Straight Up every Saturday morning alongside spincylces DJs, shared that she has landed an offer from Scoop Network Africa.

Scoop Network Africa is a new African styled entertainment channel already available in 18 countries. The channel is on Kwese TV but will officially be launched on 26 July 2018.

Goodbyes

Chero posted a simple good bye message to her fans just saying: “Cheers to new endeavors! #iamchero #scoopnetworkafrica”

The network was glad to have her in it’s team.

Mercy Cherono who is married to Jackpot winner Edmond Ngetich celebrated Valentine’s Day in a special way. They have left many talking after sharing photos from their Valentines baby bump photo shoot.

With a few months to go, the lady and her husband stunned in the new photos where they the lady is seen dressed in a red gown while; her husband chose to wear a black suit and accessorized it with a red tie.

Judging from the size of the baby bump; the lady will be welcoming her baby in a few weeks to join the few celebrity mum’s in the country.

Their Valentines however was a special one as they made sure to include their unborn baby. Cherono who is among the top celebrated athletes in the country left many surprised after announcing that she has a baby on the way.

Mercy Cherono is expecting her first child in months to come. The 5,000m Commonwealth champion was seen flaunting her baby bump in a photo that has since gone viral.

Mercy Cherono got hitched to Edmond Ng’etich in a lavish engagement ceremony on December 19th 2016. Her husband is the Kes 10 million Mcheza winner.

Mercy’s career and marriage faced various challenges in 2017. She was having issues with her husband because of his baby mama who was threatening to ruin their marriage.

The pretty athlete also spent an estimated Kes 1.5 million shillings on a trip to Nigeria in search of divine intervention for the the revival of her dwindling career.

Good fortune

Mercy finally found inner peace after all that drama. The 5,000m Commonwealth champion mended her relationship with her husband and she is even pregnant.
