Amber Lulu would be telling a different story today were it not for Mbosso. The popular video vixen has come out to reveal the Wasafi singer saved her from being raped.

The Tanzanian video vixen, who dated Kenyan rapper Prezzo for a year, opened up about the near rape incident on her birthday message to Mbosso.

Mbosso turned a year older on Thursday October 4th, the Wasafi singer will be celebrating his birthday this Friday together with his boss Diamond Platnumz who turned 29 on Tuesday October 2nd.

Amber Lulu described Mbosso as a kind and sympathetic person on her birthday message to him. She didn’t divulge more details about the near rape incident but she wholeheartedly thanked Mbosso for what he did for her.

“Happy birthday ???? @mbosso_ kuna watu waachee tu mungu awape roho zao sio za kawaida unakumbuka @mbosso_ bila ww leo katika maisha yangu ningekuwa na stor ya kubakwa ? na Sijawah kusikia popote mpaka leo nimeongea mwenywe happy birthday ?????,” wrote Amber Lulu.

 

Rayvanny narrates how he persuaded Diamond to sign Mbosso to Wasafi

Mbosso was officially unveiled as Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) new signing sometimes in February 2018. The singer was not a nonentity in Bongo music industry owing to his days back with Yamoto band.

Mbosso joined WCB after his former group disbanded amid speculation of misunderstanding with their management. Yamoto was being managed by Diamond’s other manager Mkubwa Fella.

Rayvanny is the one who persuaded Diamond to sign Mbosso to Wasafi. The singer was revealed this during an interview with the press at the ‘Jibebe Challenge’ that was held over the past weekend.

“Mbosso Lava Lava ni watu ambao walinikuta Wasafi na pia nilikuwa nawaambia msikate tamaa kila kitu kinaenda sawa. Na nilikuwa naongea na Diamond bhana Mbosso yupo vizuri lakini hana Management tumsaidiae, mimi ndio nimelazimisha hadi Mbosso amefika pale,” said Rayvvnny.

Mbosso shreds Rich Mavoko for maligning Diamond Platnumz

Rich Mavoko recently quit Wasafi Records after Tanzania’s music board BASATA intervened. The ‘Ibaki Story’ hit maker sensationally claimed WCB was fleecing him through the contract he signed with them.

A technicality in Rich Mavoko’s contract with Wasafi Records had temporarily stopped him from quitting the record label despite expressing interest to leave.

Rich Mavoko signed a contract with WCB in June 2016, the singer was previously signed by Kenyan record label Kaka Empire.

WCB’s Mbosso has rubbished Rich Mavoko’s claim that Wasafi is fleecing artists. Speaking during a radio interview, Mbosso says on his part he feels he’s the one fleecing WCB because what the record label has invested in him is more compared to the returns they are currently getting.

“Kiukweli kwa upande wangu tangu naingia WCB mpaka leo sijafikisha pesa ambayo wao wali invest kwangu kwaiyo nikiambiwa nanyonywa binafsi nitapinga kwa sababu mimi ndio naona nawanyonya kwa sababu mpaka leo hela waliyowekeza kwangu haijarusi na kuna wasanii wapo WCB mpaka leo pia hawajarudiasha hata nusu ya pesa kwaiyo ukiniambia WCB wananyonya wasanii nakuwa sikuamini labda uje na vigezo,” said Mbosso.

Wasafi Record recently spent about Kes 5.4 million to buy Mbosso and Lavalava brand new Toyota Harriers.

Diamond Platnumz has made it a habit to buy cars for artists signed to Wasafi Classic record label. The singer has previously bought Harmonize and Rayvanny cars.

Diamond himself was bought a Kes 8 million 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser by his managers. The managers Babu Tale, Sallam SK Mendez and Mkubwa Fella bought him the expensive SUV so that he could stop driving himself in his BMW X6 to corporate meetings.

Harriers for Lavalava and Mbosso

Diamond has bought two Toyota Harriers for Wasafi’s latest signings – Lavalava and Mbosso. Lavalava has been given a silver Harrier while Mbosso got a black Harrier. The two brand new Toyota Harriers are estimated to cost Kes 5.4 million.
