The jam titled Banga has been ruling the airwaves since it was released a few days ago and to be honest, we are also feeling it.

Mbithi The Kamba Boy

If you like good Kenyan music and you have never heard of Mbithi The Kamba Boy then I should tell you that you’re really missing out because this guy is really talented ladies and gentlemen.

Banga is so infectious. Actually it’s one of the catchiest songs that I have heard in a very long time and I am someone who listen to a lot of music.

Although he also a rapper, Mbithi The Kamba Boy’s style is different. He flows with so much ease and the best part is that his rhymes are not predictable as is the case with most rappers.

His creativity is out of this world and you just want to keep listening to him as he does his thing because it sounds so pleasant to the ears.

The other thing that makes Mbithi The Kamba Boy’s music stand out is that he has a habit of throwing around words in his native language and I think it’s so awesome.

The beat on this track was produced by Saint P and if you are familiar with his work I am sure you know that he does not play. The video concept is simple but it does not even matter because we are all focused on the sick bars.

Femi One has teamed up with Boondocks Gang, Mbithi and DJ Lyta on ‘Nyoko Nyoko’ and it’s too lit (Video)

Kenya femcee Femi One is back with a new song almost two months after she released Moto and we are really feeling it ladies and gentlemen.

The song titled Nyoko Nyoko is a collabo with Odi Wa Muranga and Ex Ray, who are both from Boondocks Gang, as well as Mbithi The Kamba Boy and DJ Lyta.

I don’t really know what nyoko nyoko means but it’s provocative. Anyway, I’m kidding, it means mother but its often used as an abuse. In this this song, it’s more of the latter.

But we really don’t care because this is a party anthem. If you are looking for content, then I would advice you to look elsewhere.

I love this jam not for any other reason but because the delivery by all the artists i.e. Femi One, Odi Wa Murang’a, Ex Ray and Mbithi The Kamba Boy was really on point. They really had some dope verses.

However, if I had to choose one then I’d go for Femi One, as you would  easily expect, followed by Odi Wa Murang’a, they are the business.

Of course, Ex Ray’s verse also stands out because of his rhymes, that will definitely make you scratch your head, and unique voice, so does Mbithi The Kamba Boy’s verse.

The beat fir this jam was produced by the one and only Ilogos Music and I really love it. However, I feel some people will say it’s too slow because it’s not like most of the Gengetone beats that we’ve gotten used to.

The only thing that didn’t really amaze me is the video, I felt like it was too cliche. Most Gengetone songs are shot on the streets. That notwithstanding, Johnson Kyallo did a good job, especially during the editing.

Mbithi has teamed up with Cheruto on a new jam ‘Boy’ and we love it (Video)

Mbithi The Kamba Boy, who is famed for hits such as Msichana Mmoja and Round 2, has a new song with a beautiful lass who goes by the name Emma Cheruto and we are in awe. No, like legit!

Dubbed Boy, this romantic piece talks about the lengths that two people who are in love are willing to go to show each other that what they have is really special. The bottomline is that, it’s the simplest things that matter.

As expected, Mbithi really came through with some well-thought out and smooth bars you might even forget that you are listening to a love ballad.

I really couldn’t get enough of Cheruto’s voice. I just wanted to keep listening to her. She brings a lovely vibe to this song and makes it naturally beautiful with her mellow voice.

Boy was produced by the one and only Jopee The Chef and directed by Johnson Kyallo. Both gentlemen did a good job since the audio and video are both on point.

It’s hard to fault anything in this song and, therefore, we are rating it 10/10. Maybe it deserves an 11/10, we’ll let you decide.
