If you thought the original version, which was released in December 2019, was dope then you haven’t seen anything yet because the remix is out of this word, quite literally.

To be honest, I’ve listened to Kitu Nono Remix a couple of times and the more I play it is the more I love it because it is so infectious.

All the artists who were featured on this track brought their A-Games and I find it hard to decide whose verse I loved the most because they all nailed it.

Take for instance Breeder LW who is on the first verse. His flow and wordplay skills are so dope and you just want to keep listening to him as he does his thing because it sounds so pleasant to the ears.

Ssaru

The two ladies on this jam i.e. Maandy and Ssaru also killed it. They both have good lyrical skills and I would not be surprised if either of them becomes Kenya’s next biggest femcee.

I’m a huge fan of Boutross Munene, who is one third of the Alliance Domini Family (ADF), so naturally you’d expect me to say that he did a good job but believe you me, he really came through on this one.

Denzel Kong and Mastar VK did not disappoint either. Both of them have some great punchlines that will leave you scratching your head as you try to make sense of it all and that is not a bad thing or is it?

I really love the beat on this jam. If you ask me, the producer deserves a pat on the back for the good work. The video is also awesome, with some impeccable shots.

Boutross has linked up with Wakadinali and Mastar VK on Omoka and it’s too dope (Video)

Boutross Munene, who is easily one of the best new-age rappers in the country, has dropped a new jam with Mastar VK and Wakadinali.

The song titled Omoka is without a doubt one of the best jams from 2019. I have listened to it a couple of times since it was released and I still can’t get enough of it.

If you like old school Kenyan Hip Hop or if you are a fan of Shrap (new school), then you should make time to listen to this jam because it blends the two so beautifully. There is no word that describes how good the outcome is.

As you would expect, the lyricism on this song is really on point. Some of the verses will make you scratch your head as you try to understand what the person said.

If I had to pick one person form the four artists who are featured on this jam i.e. Boutross Munene, Scar Mkadianali, Mastar VK and Domani Munga, I would totally go for Boutross.

I’m not saying the rest are whack but I really loved his verse. You could have a different opinion but that’s mine and you should respect it. Lol. I’m a huge fan 0f the fan of the guy, you can’t even blame me.

Generally speaking, this jam is a masterpiece. Most people, including yours truly, are just waiting for them to give us the video.

Kenya’s best new-age musicians have teamed up for ‘Nare Nare’ and it’s a massive hit (Video)

Some of the biggest and baddest new-age musicians in Kenya have dropped a new jam dubbed Nare Nare and even before you listen to it, you know it’s a massive hit.

The song features Dmore (Ochunglo Family), Vuva (34 GVNG), The Boybleezy (G-Rock), Shagwah (Wanati), Jose and Mastar VK.

If this is not a perfect combination then I honestly don’t know what is ladies and gentlemen. I really don’t.

In as much all the artists really came through on this jam, I really felt like Vuva, who is known for the Wabebe hit, outshone the others.

There’s just something about his verse that makes you want to listen to it again and again.

It goes like, “Who dea, who dea, huita bae fat body, uite gute gute go down low mummy, cheza gude gude, mi ni guze guze mpaka ustuke tu ee,  niku kune kune, underwater chini ya maji nikukumbe kumbe, we mtamu supu tamu ka ya kunde kunde, kitandani mtihani twende shule shule, now you know,  ni mashash na kibenga.”

Can someone please call the fire department? No, like seriously!

The song was produced by Hitman Kaht and directed by Kuria. In my opinion, they both did a commendable job.
