Maina kageni: I’ve seen what marriage is and i’m not tying the knot

Classic 105 radio presenter Maina Kageni has revealed that he’s not planning to marry any time soon despite the pressure piling up on him.

Maina recently responded to Mwalimu King’ang’i on their morning show at Classic 105 on when he’ll get married, saying he doesn’t plan to do it at all.

Mwalimu told him that he shouldn’t judge married men because they go through a lot something that Maina can never understand because he has never been in that position.

In response, Maina, who is approaching his 50s now, shared that he doesn’t want to be married because of all those shocking stories that men go through.

“From what you keep telling me do you think I will get married? I see the hell you are all going through. One of these days we should actually discuss what the real importance of marriage is.” he shared.

Radio Africa Group top radio presenters Adelle Onyango and Maina Kageni have landed yet another top job after being picked as the Johnnie Walker Brand Ambassadors for the ongoing  Experience Formula 1 with Johnnie Walker Promotion.

Experience best of both worlds

In a ceremony, the two were announced by KBL MD and will join other Diageo Global Influencers in Monaco – a Grand Prix race described as the Jewel in the Formula 1 Crown circuit.

“Today’s consumers are increasingly sophisticated and are seeking new experiences. Therefore, such partnerships are welcome since they will enable our consumers to associate with the brand in an unconventional way,”  Jane Karuku said. 

Both the presenters took to social media to share their new hustles leaving fans in awe.

Classic 105 FM presenter Maina Kageni should just stick to his slim fitting shirts, tshirts and jeans, at least that’s what Kenyans on social media have unanimously concluded.

Kageni, during Diamond Platnumz’ album launch which was at the National Theater, came out wearing a blood-red suit and kenyans weren’t impressed.  At all.

Time to upgrade

The suit, which seemed baggy and totally out of style, had many begging him to stick to his usual style of a slim fit jeans and maybe a tshirt or a shirt.

Everyone seemed disappointed.

But it’s not the first time Maina has disappointed Kenyans with his fashion mishaps. Kenyans have complained before that for a man who’s being paid such a huge amount to speak on radio, he should invest more on fashion. This was after he was spotted several times in the same shirt.

Maina Kageni celebrates birthday in style (photos)

Radio King Maina Kageni yesterday 29th June celebrated his birthday but as expected he did not reveal his age but I have a feeling that he is now in his 30’s but from the healthy and lifestyle he lives…one cannot tell!

He is among the most loved radio presenters we have come to know and his career keeps getting better as he has full support from most of his listeners. Just recently he declared that he will be contesting as an independent candidate for the Nairobi Women’s representative seat and rumor has it that he might bag the seat judging from the number women behind him.

Anyway, to mark his new year Maina Kageni did not throw a bash but he seems to have stepped out for a low key dinner (from one of his pictures). He however shared a throwback photo to celebrate himself for the far he has come and also shared a photo of the gift Mwalimu King’ang’i bought him.
