For sure I know not many married women are in good terms with their mothers in law. I wouldn’t know why but truth is, this is a reality that the human race continues to relive generation after generation.

Anyway, not all women dislike their mothers in law and to prove this; we recently came across a heartwarming post Citizen TV’s Lulu Hassan penned down to celebrate her mother in laws birthday.

Judging from how Lulu Hassan went on to praise; and show love for Mama Rashid proves that her relationship with the old lady has been intact since the word go. The Citizen TV anchor went on to say;

Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdalla marked 7 years of their marriage this past weekend; and being an extra ordinary couple, the two couldn’t help but shower each other with praises.

As seen on Lulu Hassan’s page, the young Mum of 3 shared a special message dedicated to her husband; as well as celebrated her fellow Muslims on Eid Al-Adha. Through her page, the Swahili news anchor wrote;

Her cohost who also happens to be the love of her life, Rashid Abdalla also jotted town a special post dedicated to his wife. However, in his post, Rashid talked about the importance love, understanding and above all respect in a marriage.

According to the Citizen TV Swahili anchor, love can only work where there is selflessness. He went on to write;

Radhid Abdalla and Lulu Hassan remain as the most admired couple in the media industry. For the years the two have been living as man and wife; there has been no scandal surrounding them and truth is, this is quite rare.

They however happen to be a very secretive couple and when off our TV screens; they prefer to share photos of their other projects on social media instead of showing off like other couples we know.

People judge our marriage based on how we relate on TV – Lulu Hassan reveals

Gracing the screens may come with a package inclusive of fame and status but so does it tag along a fair share of challenges.

TV beauty queen, Lulu Hassan and her hubby, Rashid Abdalla are one of the most admired and envied TV couple on our local screens and the first to set such kind of a bar.

However, working together comes along with its setbacks.

Since these two are a couple, fans will more often than not judge them when they are presenting the news.

Up and close with Millard Ayo, Lulu stated that most times, fans and viewers tune into their bulletins, not to get the content, rather to gather information about their marriage.
