Raj has linked up with Wakali Wao and Lofe on ‘Pretty Gal Dem’ and it’s fire (Video)

Talented Kenyan rapper Rajiv Okemwa, popularly known as Raj, has released a new song with Wakali Wao and Lofe and it’s a big tune.

The song dubbed Pretty Gal Dem is the sixteenth record off his Raj’s Bae Tuesday 2.0 weekly series where he drops a new jam every Tuesday from August until December in anticipation for his BAE2 (Beautiful And Exquisite2) album.

This jam is really dope. I have been listening to it on repeat since it was released a few days ago and I am not about to stop.

Apart from the arrangement, I really loved the flow by the artists, especially the two chaps who make up Wakali Wao and that is Iano Ranking and Kim Swat. They are really dope ladies and gentlemen.

Notably, Raj also did a good job. The hook for this jam is very catchy and chances are you will master it the first time you listen to it or maybe the second time.

To be honest I’m also starting to like Lofe’s musical approach. This is the fourth song by him that I have heard and he is slowly winning me over with his impeccable punchlines.

While the beat on this song is really on point, one thing that will definitely catch your eye is the video. There is a lass who is shaking it like she means business. It’s just so good!

Wakali Wao has teamed up with Lofe on ‘Ringa’ and it’s a big tune (Video)

Wakali Wao, the duo that became a household name after releasing Madam alongside Boondocks Gang, has dropped a new jam and we are really feeling it.

This time around, the fast-rising artists have teamed up with a chap known as Lofe whom you might remember from his collabo with The Kansoul and Raj dubbed Inama.

Wakali Wao’s new jam with Lofe is titled Ringa and it basically talks about how the girl that a guy is chasing is never ready to give in to his advances. (At least that’s how I understood it.)

Both Iano Ranking and Kim Swat had some tight verses in this jam. However, as you would expect, I was impressed by the latter. He totally nailed it in my opinion.

To be fair, Iano also did a great job on the hook. It goes like, “Dem anatingisha akizungusha marinda rinda alafu ana dondosa akirombosa anaringa ringa, ebu cheza we ringa*3”

Lofe also aced it. There is just something about his voice that makes him stand out from other artists. You will listen to his part a couple of times and not get bored.

Other than the dope beat on this jam, I also loved the vixens who were featured in the video. They were twerking like they really mean business, don’t they though?

Inama brings together Lofe, Raj and the Kansoul

Inama has brought together Lofe, Raj and The Kansoul. The track has been produced by Addi of Moneymall Empire. The jam is set to rock the club this year. Inama is not the kind of song that would make you crave to listen to music.

The Kansoul has become particularly drowned in the new age of Kenyan music style and seems to be following Ethic’s trend in all their songs. Inama is their latest collaboration which features upcoming artists Lofe and Raj.

The production of this song is low, looking at the audio the beats are so high that the words are not clear. Who on earth would struggle to listen to the words? Although the sound is poor, the video is lit. It looks nice and well thought off. The song has no content that is attractive.

The trio, Lofe, Raj and The Kansoul could have done better than this. Looking at the lyrics I would term the song as trash. Inama is only brought out through the dance where the vixens are shaking their booties. “Mtoto wa hadija ati geuka nikubeng”.Looking at this line it is fine. Kubeng’ means banging and the whole line simply is all about the lady who in this case is reffered to as mtoto wa Hadija.

“Geuka nikubeng venye unakaa inaonekana unataka mjulubeng”. Smh! With these type of lyrics, new age upcoming artists lack taste in music.

I would give the song a rating of 2/10. This is not something I expected from the kansoul. There is so much work to be done with the song. I would term it as noise because I need to struggle to get the words.
