That is what her accolades and adoring fans would have you believe. However, when she first fell ill, even her mother was surprised that no one came to her aid.

This leads us to the question of what entertainers are to do. The first lesson one should learn from Lady Maureen is that as an artist, because you do not have health insurance, you should try and lead a healthy lifestyle. This includes fitness but also going for regular health checks.

Another thing Lady Maureen should have taught you as a person is that while the idea of having friends is a great idea, we should be comfortable with our own company. We should understand that success has many fathers, failure is an orphan. That saying can be contextualized to mean that when we are riding on the high of success, we will be mobbed by many people but when we are struggling through life, most of our friends will not be available beyond the photo opportunities.

It is sad to see Lady Maureen having to live and survive her illness alone. Then she went to on to die abandoned by most of the people who celebrated her during life. That describes a situation that would depress anyone. But to survive this life, we need to know that we are the only people responsible for making our lives better.

Maureen Waititu’s ex comes out to deny he’s sleeping with Natalie Tewa

Vlogger Frankie Just Gymit, who was married to Maureen Waititu, has come out to deny claims that he has already moved on to another lady after breaking up with Natalia Tewa.

Rumour has it that she has already moved on with fellow vlogger and gym addict Natalia Tewa after breaking up with his wife. Frankie took to Instagram clearing the air about his relationship with Maureen (Mau) and Natalie Tewa.

Maureen and Frankie were blessed with two boys. In his post, Frank said that he hasn’t moved on and the break up hasn’t been easy to him. He asked people to stop claiming such things because it still hurts him.

Kenyan Musician who Kenyans begged Uhuru to save now paralyzed

Kenyan musician Maureen Otiu, popularly known as Lady Maureen, has been hospitalized after she was diagnosed with hypotension which has left her paralysed.

Just a few months ago, the singer and a 15 band members were arrested for entering Tanzania without travel documents. They were arraigned in the High Court in Mwanza where they were given a bail of KSh35,000 each. Kenyans then, asked President Uhuru to help the band that was locked down.

News reaching Ghafla indicate that the Lady Maureen underwent a surgery on Saturday but has a growth on her back.

“We rushed her to the nearest hospital in Harambee Sacco estate where she lives, but after examinations, the hospital referred her to St Francis Community in Kasarani,” Maureen’s friend shared.

On Valentines Day, the singer collapsed on stage while preparing to perform during her debut album launch event in Umoja One, Nairobi.
