KTN News anchor Zindzi Kibiku quits after 4 years at the station

KTN news anchor and Morning Express host Zindzi Kibiku will be no longer working at KTN TV.

The sassy host took to social media to share that after four years working at the Mombasa Road based station, she has finally terminated her contract. Kibiku didn’t share why she left or where she’s going next.

“August 2015 I joined KTN News team as an intern. As infant as the station was with a goal to be the first 24/HR news network, so was my budding journalism career. They took a chance on me and allowed me to realize my dream while being myself . I meet so many of you amazing people. Thank you for your feedback, picking calls, showing up in studio and teaching me. Today, I say goodbye with a full heart.” Reads tweets from the TV Girl Zindzi Kibiku.

Kibuku has hosted several shows including “What’s Trending”, “Youth cafe,” and “Morning Express”. She’s also a Vlogger and runs a YouTube channel  called ZINDZI where she interacts with millennial’s.

 

Former KTN journalist blasts angry Kenyan men who claim they can’t get a wife

Apparently, there some men complaining that they can’t get wifed out here because all women have turned into socialites and slay queens.

Former KTN journalist Damaris Kitavi recently had a solution for such men, telling them that they should look deeper in themselves rather than blaming women for their mishaps. 

“Dear angry man.

Take time to deal with yourself and your failures and stop hating.

Slay queens are not the reason you are unmarried (because you use marriage to measure a woman’s success, meaning you have failed in that department). That strong go getter of a woman who turned your advances down and went on to marry a hardworking rich gentleman is not the reason you are a loser.

Heck, sponsors are not the cause of your woes. Weaves and wigs and lipstick and fake eye lashes and nails are not the reason you are nit successful in life.

That you can not get yourself a good woman doesn’t really translate to – they don’t exist. That your standards are too low for the kind of women you are attracted to, is not the fault of every woman who wants to live above your standards,” she said in an open letter.

She went on to add that these men should cuddle up and discuss why they are single instead of blaming people not even concerned with their lives.

“Single mothers are not the reason your world is upside down. Women who chose to settle for the second, third, fourth wife position are not what ails you. Those men who make them wives are not contributors to your issues. Feminists are not the reason why. Not even Raila can be blamed for your woes. Call yourself in for a meeting, and sincerely deal with yourself. The problem is YOU.” she said.
