Kenya Power has announced scheduled power outages in various areas across five counties on Wednesday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The affected counties include Nairobi, Makueni, Uasin Gishu, Nyeri, and Nyamira.

**Nairobi:**
Parts of the capital will experience power interruptions from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Affected areas include Juakali, Gikomba, sections of Burma Market, SDA Shauri Moyo, Gikomba Family Bank, Nyari East, Red Hill Link Road, Thigiri Ridge, and more. Additional locations facing cuts include Oloitoktok Road, Siaya Road, Githunguri Road, Ring Road Kileleshwa, Ngong Road, and areas around Lavington, Riara, and Kilimani.

**Makueni:**
Power cuts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. will affect Kalawa, Kathonzweni, Kitise, Mavindini, Yemulwa, and other surrounding regions.

**Uasin Gishu:**
Between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., areas including Kaptuktuk, Kaptuktuk Primary School, and Chemungen Primary School will experience outages.

**Nyeri:**

On Monday, 23rd September 2024, residents and businesses in Muthaiga and its surroundings will experience a scheduled power outage. The affected areas include ICRAF, the United Nations offices, Karura Avenue, Muthaiga Road, Karura Forest, and adjacent neighborhoods. The outage will begin at 9:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM.

Nyeri County (Ragati Tea Factory Area):
Another power interruption is planned for the Ragati Tea Factory area, also on Monday, 23rd September 2024. The outage will start at 8:00 AM and is expected to last until 5:00 PM.
