Sources close to the situation reveal that after a year, Kwambox has made the decision to depart from the station’s breakfast show.

Her departure is anticipated to bring about adjustments in the station’s lineup, as the breakfast show holds significant importance in radio programming.

Before joining Radio Africa Group, Kwambox showcased her talent as a presenter on Vybez Radio and also held a hosting position at Homeboyz Radio.

In addition to her radio work, she co-hosts a podcast with Kerry Martin & Joyce Maina.

Kiss 100 drops Chito Ndlovu from drive show

Chito Ndhlovu has announced his departure from Kiss FM’s drive show after two years of hosting the well-known radio program.

Chito’s exit from the driving show has been officially announced, but it is unclear what would happen after that. Chito is still employed by the organization, according to a source at Radio Africa Group, although adjustments are being made.

Chito acknowledged his joy at having hosted the program for two years, saying it was a realization of a lifelong desire.

The last two years hosting this show at Kiss 100 Kenya have been a dream come true. We have shared laughter, tears, pain, and lots of joy together. Doing this with Cyd Wambui has been one of the greatest pleasures of my life,”

There are also rumours within the company of a further retrenchment drive coming in the immediate future.

Oga Obinna released from contract by Kiss 100

Oga Obinna is no longer at Kiss 100 after he too was shown the door in similar fashion to how his former co-host, Kamene Goro was. It is reported as a case of, “both parties decided it was not in their mutual interest to renew the contract”. and just like that, a year on since he joined, he is out the door.

Speaking to Kalondu Musyimi, Oga Obinna said,

I’m no longer at Kiss. I have finished my contract.

“The experience has been beautiful and I have achieved my dream and did everything I wanted to do. And everything I do from now henceforth will be extra.

If it’s a job, a cat a job it will be extra. I have driven that car I wanted to drive (apart from Range Rover Sport), lived in the houses I wanted, and worked in an organization I always wanted.

I have achieved what I wanted to do and now we move…
