Man arrested in Kisii for killing his brother’s wife and his two children

Alex Ayata Migosi, 27, has been taken into custody by detectives. He was wanted for the murder of his sister-in-law and her children in Kisii. Migosi killed his brother’s wife and children with a hacking yesterday in Mesaria Village, Kisii County.

On Tuesday night, the suspect who fled the scene of the incident was apprehended in the Kegogi area in the Marani sub-county, Kisii.

The DCI stated that neighbors had seen the murder suspect and his brother Patrick Omuga engaged in heated arguments about an unspecified matter just prior to the vicious attack on the 27-year-old wife and her two children, ages four and three.

Ayata killed the defenseless trio with a machete, shocking and condemning the neighborhood when she broke into the brother’s home in a depraved attempt to settle scores.

In an attempt to trap the malefactor before he could escape the area, the local security forces were called in, and yesterday night their efforts paid off.
He is presently preparing for his arraignment.

Woman on the Run After Allegedly Stabbing Estranged Husband to Death in Kisii

Detectives in Kisii are hunting for a woman who allegedly stabbed her estranged husband to death at a rental house on Monday night.

The woman, identified as Rebecca Kwamboka, 35, is suspected of storming the house where Abel Onsomu, 47, had been cohabiting with a college student, and stabbing him in the neck and left eye with a knife.

Onsomu was rushed to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital for treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries.

According to witnesses, the couple had been having longstanding differences, which led to their separation. The woman is said to have arrived at the rental house around 8 pm on Monday and hidden at a nearby cyber cafe. She then stormed the house and attacked Onsomu while his second wife was out closing the gate.

The second wife heard Onsomu wailing from the house, and when she returned, she found Kwamboka fleeing.

Detectives are trailing Kwamboka and have asked anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the nearest police station.

This is a tragic and senseless crime, and our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends during this difficult time.
