Angst at supposed arrest of conductor for attempting to charge a cop fare

A video trending on the X app shows a conductor being humiliated by people with a police officer standing beside them. The man is half-clothed and is allegedly being arrested for asking for fare from a police officer who is not on duty. The conductor is heard shouting that they are hurting him, and netizens are shouting for help.

After the video was posted, KOT (Kenyans on Twitter) reacted with disappointment. Here are some of the many reactions:

  • “This is a disgrace to the police force. The police officer should be arrested for abuse of power.”
  • “The conductor should not be humiliated like this, even if he did ask for fare from a police officer. He is still a human being.”

On February 14th, all the men who didn’t want to spend on their women or needed to avoid unnecessary drama from their complicated relationships, marked themselves busy by attending an imaginary conference in South Africa.

Started in South Africa and spread all over the world using the harsh tag #MensConference2019, a lot of funny tweets have been sent to show how the conference was going.

Various celebrities have also jumped into the bandwagon where they humorously wiggling their way out of Valentine’s.

Though the location of the conference remained undisclosed in most of the invitations, itineraries were released and they’re as amusing as the escape plan itself.  The ‘free-to-attend’ conference is set to be opened with a prayer by controversial self-proclaimed prophet Paseka ‘Mboro’ Motsoeneng followed by addresses on ‘size’ by former finance minister, Malusi Gigaba.

Kenyans on Twitter were apparently not happy after William Kabogo, one of the richest politicians in Kenya, followed them on Twitter to comment on a cute girl’s post.

Reason? They don’t have a chopper, a couple of bungalows or a Maserati like him.

The young lady shared a thirst-inducing photo sharing how cool her glasses are and Kabogo agreed.Kenyans, however, wanted him to stay away from the her claiming he has enough resources to hunt other women.

The post gathered over 107 replies, 89 Retweets and over 700 likes and has been shared hundred of times on Facebook.

Kenyan’s on social media will never disappoint when it comes to giving you a reason for a good laugh. In the past we have seen some of their hilarious sides and they did not stop after Wizkid officially announced that he will be coming to Kenya in July.

Sounds exciting especially for the fans who love his music (who doesn’t?) but with the prizes of flour and sugar, Kenyans could not resist from asking the singer to come carrying some since we are almost ‘starving’.
