Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s son, Kelvin Muasya, marked his wedding day on Saturday with a vibrant ceremony held in Maanzoni, Machakos.
Muasya tied the knot with Sharon Nthoki, fondly referred to by his father, Kalonzo, as his ‘rib’ and “God’s appointed helper.”
The traditional ceremony attracted a host of distinguished guests from the Azimio coalition, led by Raila Odinga.
Among the attendees were Eugene Wamalwa, Opiyo Wandayi, Wyclife Oparanya, Jeremiah Kioni, as well as governors Wavinya Ndeti of Machakos and Mutula Kilonzo Jnr of Makueni.
“Special thanks to Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Party Leader Rt Hon Raila Odinga for gracing us with your presence and delivering such a beautiful message. I’m grateful to DAP Kenya party leader Eugene Wamalwa and Jubilee Party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni for joining us on this special day,” expressed Kalonzo.
“To our family and friends, your presence was deeply appreciated,” he added.
Kalonzo concluded his message to the newlyweds with a biblical quote, extending his wishes for a joyous married life.
“Genesis 2:18 tells us, ‘Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”’
“Today, my son Muasya has found his ‘rib’ and God’s appointed helper in Nthoki. Thank you for allowing us to share in your joyous occasion, and may your love continue to flourish with each passing year.”
“Congratulations to the couple; may happiness accompany them on their journey together,” conveyed Azimio leader Raila Odinga to the newlyweds.
“I’m thrilled to join Kelvin Muasya Musyoka and Sharon Nthoki at their pre-wedding celebration in Maanzoni, Machakos County. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness and love,” added Wandayi.
