A 7 -year-old boy lost his life in Kawangware after he fell from the first floor of a house while playing with other kids.
Master Churchil Otieno was rushed to the Kenyatta National Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment, police said.
The boy was playing on the floor with other children when he slid and fell off landing on his left hand.
Doctors said he had sustained internal injuries which led to his death on July 16.
Police were called to the scene and processed it as part of the probe into the incident.
The body was moved to the hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem examination.
Nairobi police boss Adamson Bungei said experts are handling the incident.
Meanwhile, two people were electrocuted in separate incidents in the city.
The first incident happened in Eastleigh where a mason was electrocuted as he plastered a residential house under construction.
Police said Erick Juma, 30 was plastering the house on the eleventh floor when touched a live wire.
This electrocuted him on the spot in the July 13 incident. Police were called to the scene and processed it before the body was moved to the mortuary.
The incident happened in Juja B estate in Eastleigh. The construction was stopped to allow a probe, police said amid complaints many contractors do not adhere to safety rules.
In Korogocho, 54-year-old Munania Kananu was electrocuted on July 15 as she boiled water on an electric coil.
Police and her family said she accidentally touched the live wire, which killed her on the spot.
