Actress Catherine Kamau has warned single mothers who are dying to get a man saying that they should be patient and not focus on tying any one down.
The actress, who was a single mother herself before being married to fellow actor Phil Karanja, said that men first analyse you to see whether you have your life together before they can agree to settle down with a single mum.
She urged women to focus on their dreams and kids first and not dedicate their time in hunting for a husband.

Kate is the mother of a teenage boy whom she conceived at her first attempt at bring a “bad girl” back in campus.
In an Instagram Q and A session with fans, Kate was asked quite the tricky question by a curious user who wanted to know whether she was optimistic of getting married especially since she is a single mother.
“I had committed to give my son the best. Men can smell desperation from a mile away. They also notice a committed, hardworking woman especially one who loves her child unconditionally,” she said.
