Kambua deletes the apology she wrote Jeff Kuria after their New Years drama

Singer Kambua and Inooro TV’s Jeff Kuria have been the talk of town since the year began.

Well, this is after Kambua pulled a move that angered Kenyans who had tuned in to watch Vuka Mwaka party at Afraha Stadium.

According to fans, Kambua apparently grabbed the mic from Kuria delaying the New Years count down. Her behavior left Kenyans calling her out for being selfish, forcing her to publicly apologize due the harsh comments being thrown her way.

The apology

Through her Facebook page Kambua apologized to Jeff Kuria saying;

“ Well, we are finally back in Nairobi. And yes, I have seen and read all (or most) of your comments. With all the stones being flung my way, I will in no way try to explain anything. So allow me to say this specifically to Jeff Kuria (my colleague at Inooro), and his fans as a whole. For all that may/may not have happened yesterday, I apologise. I’d hate to start this year with any bad blood. I value all of you, even the criticism (good and bad). Happy New Year. K.”

However, looking at her page seems that she pulled down the apology. Not quite sure why she deleted the post but could be the comments left under it that made her delete the post.

Some of the names present included Lillian Muli, Kambua, Terryanne Chebet, Shiks Kapienga and Teacher Wanjiku among others.

The party reminded me of Jacque Maribe days when she used to turn up with her gang before Joseph Irungu’s case took centre stage.

Kambua reveals why she left Mr Seed pending for three years before finally working with him

Gospel singer Kambua has revealed that working with Mr Seed was an idea that came up almost three years ago but had to wait for several reasons.

Speaking to Adele on Kiss FM, the singer revealed that Mr Seed wanted a collabo but she had to wait for three years because of her image. The two have just released their new song dubbed “Happy.”

“Kambua alikua ananiplayiatu star (Kambua was just playing mega star to me), and I had to explain to her that it is true gospel,” said Mr Seed.

Space

Kambua in defense, said that jumping from one collabo to another would have made her look bad.

“It is the first time we have done a song together, although it has been three years since Mr Seed approached me to collabo with him. You get so many people who want to collabo with you, and so if you just go and say yes, you might become the collabo artiste of the year, you know. I had to space my collabos.” she said.

On why Mr Seed wanted her so bad in her song, he said: “I love her voice and so we just connected so well and thank God, it finally came naturally.”

Kambua talks to her late dad from heaven during Father’s Day

During Father’s Day on Sunday, many celebs took to social media to thank their dads and husbands.

Gospel singer Kambua took to Instagram to speak to her late dad to tell him how she misses him.

Miss him

Kambua lost her dad in 2014 and she has always been open about how empty she feels without her father.

*Father’s Day* I cannot tell you how many times in the last few years I’ve picked up my phone to call my dad, and then just as quickly remembered that he, one day started off on a journey, on a one-way ticket. I miss him,” she posted.

“Terribly. Everyday. I am a daddy’s girl, unapologetically. He held my hand through decades of my life; I held his hand as the curtain closed on his.???

Listen, if you have your Father, here, now, let him know what he means to you. If you need to make things right, please do. Or at least try. ??? Happy Father’s Day to all of you amazing dads out there working hard to ensure that your tribe is well taken care of. We see you. We appreciate you. ?

This is why gospel singer Kambua was forced to disable her comment sections on social media

Gospel singer Kambua has had different encounters on social media with her fans. In a long post, the singer explained why she’s trying to filter some of the things people say to her and why she has now disabled the comment sections on her Instagram.

Blurring the noise

The singer shared that it’s time she kills the different noises affecting her life and focus on what only makes her better.

Here is what she said:

“*Long post alert* So for the last couple of weeks I decided to disable my comments on most of my pictures. I know it frustrated some of you and I appreciate all who slid into my DM to find out what the deal was. Anyway, this is it. I have been feeling for a while that there are many voices in my life. Most, well-meaning, but still, many. It’s so easy to lose yourself even to the applause and admiration of people. Social media is such a crazy place I must say! One moment you’re crucified, and the next your praises are sang,” she said.

Adding:

“Whoa. Such a confusing place to be! I’m learning how to be still. How to be OK without the applause… without the noise. I’m learning that sometimes the voice of The Shepherd can be drowned out by other voices; by the wind, and the storms. And that sometimes The Shepherd speaks, but we cannot possibly hear Him above the racket. So how about you try it. For me, it’s the socials. For you, maybe it’s noise from somewhere else that you just need to tune out for a while. He is always speaking…are you listening? Love always.”

Nyashinski flaunts 32K shoes on social media

Though he’s not really a guy who shows off, Singer Nyashinski is one brother who has it and maybe once in a while reminds people that he can floss.

The singer was recently on social media to flaunt a pair of sneakers worth a cool $325 (Sh32,500), a figure that left many social media users impressed.  The shoe, which is called Silio canvas low-top is a very simple shoe that matches with his simple dress code. Unlike many other artists, Nyash goes for a simple dress code hence the Silio canvas shoes make sense.

Here are the shoes:
