Media personality Joyce Omondi who is married to one Wahiga Mwaura has left many tongues wagging after unveiling a photo where she appears pregnant. For some reason this triggered fans who quickly started sending the lass congratulatory messages.

Well having been married for 5 years and still no child to show of course makes fans ask questions; but as for now – I believe it’s one step at a time for the Mwaura’s.

Anyway turns out that the photo shared by Joyce was just taken from an angle that made her look pregnant. So unfortunately there is no baby for now, but hopefully soon. One friend wrote;

2020 marks a year of major milestones for celebrity TV couple, Waihiga Mwaura and Joyce Omondi following recent developments.

Tuesday, September 29, word was rife that renowned Citizen TV news anchor, Waihiga Mwaura had been appointed the station’s new Special Projects Editor.

His new appointment

In an internal memo doing the rounds, and signed by editorial director Joe Ageyo, it indicates Waihiga will be wearing his new hat come October 1, 2020.

With well over 10 years experience in the field and being an International multi-award winning journalist, the memo indicates Waihiga will “be in charge of the new dispensation of multi-media content generation and dissemination.”

“I am confident that Waihiga will help in steering our Special Projects Desk, in charge of features, investigative stories, special reports and forward planning for special events on Citizen TV,” continued the memo.

A position he takes up from former Citizen TV seasoned journalist, Asha Mwilu who worked as the station’s Special Projects manager until her exit on May 20, 2020.

Mwilu is currently running her own show on Debunk media company which she launched soon after her exit.

Her love for the African hair did not start yesterday, having been spotted on several occasions rocking that natural look and still wowing in it. Let’s get straight into it:

1. Early in the year, the beauty went for a floral, subtle wear, splitting her hair to once side and letting it hang on her shoulders.

2. Then came a time she opted for an updo, clearly allowing her face and neck some breathing space and light.

3. She once had it all indoor, with a simple makeup look, some red lippie, natural eyebrows and a portion of hair tied to the back, with some falling to the side and she looked adorable.

4. During one of her many episodes on Full Circle With Joyce, the dashing TV beauty blended a bit of color on her clothes, put on her glasses and let her natural hair loosely fall on her shoulders and back. The hanging earrings completed the look.

5. For an outdoor look, Joyce tied her curly hair to the back, brushing through the hair at the front for a seamless look before getting down to business.

6. The following was a recent event, with her mask on, eyelashes properly done, and her long straight natural hair wound up into a chunk and let loose to one side. Complementing the natural look with some locally made earrings.

Singer and presenter Joyce Omondi has opened up yet again about how she met with Wahiga Mwaura and became lovers.

The two, who used to be employees at Citizen TV have been together for almost five years now but dated secretly when still workmates for almost a year.

Speaking in an interview, Omondi said that Wahiga was really determined to be with him but she kept brushing his advances off.

Wahiga didn’t lose hope however and went on to pressure her for a date. Omondi confessed that after he went on Twitter to share his admiration for her, that’s when she finally gave him a chance.

“Then my first song called conquerer came out and he started tweeting me publically, ‘my celebrity crash is Joyce Omondi’, then after that, I just responded, then I invited him to my birthday party, he came and that was the time we actually met,” she said.

Joyce Omondi and her husband Waihiga Mwaura are one of the cutest couples in this entertainment business.

The two started out as friends while working together at Citizen TV but later ended up as lovers. Waihiga Mwaura was anchoring the station’s sports segment while Joyce Omondi was a host on the gospel show Rauka.

Almost five years later, they are still going strong and in an interview with Salon Magazine where they graced the cover, they revealed how they have managed to stay afloat.

“We keep to ourselves and rarely post about each other apart from special occasions. Anything precious is best kept hidden and that has been our policy,” they said in the mag.

Citizen TV employee Waihiga Mwaura and his wife Joyce Omondi recently revealed that they started dating while she was still at the TV station but kept it on the low until they got married.

Speaking to Salon Magazine, the couple revealed why they kept their relationship a secret saying they wanted it to be precious.

“We keep to ourselves and rarely post about each other apart from special occasions. Anything precious is best kept hidden and that has been our policy,” said the couple.

Mwaura said that he started flirting with her in 2012 on a Sunday morning when Joyce was leaving the set of her show.

He wanted a relationship but she wasn’t interested. He kept on asking and eventually she gave him a chance.

“We decided to be very private about our relationship from the beginning. Many people [including our colleagues] did not know that we were dating until we got married,” said the couple, adding, “That is why this is the first and only interview we shall do in a very long time.”

The two got married on December 18th, 2015 at Sawela Lodge in Naivasha.

Gospel singer and wife of Citizen TV news anchor Wahiga Mwaura has landed another TV job years after she left Citizen TV.

Joyce has now joined a bunch of other celebs who work at Switch TV to host a lifestyle show.

The singer will host a weekly live lifestyle show from Mondays to Fridays at the newest television station in Kenya.

In another post, she oozed excitement after landing the TV gig which has taken 6 years to come. Omondi left Citizen TV in 2013 where she worked as Gospel show Rauka host alongside Kubamba’s Ngugush.

After an almost 6-year break, I’m excited to get back onto your TV screens beginning January 7th with my new talk and lifestyle show, Full Circle with Joyce! (Whaaattt?!)
