Kate actress to single mothers: Be very careful, men can smell desperation miles away

Actress Catherine Kamau has warned single mothers who are dying to get a man saying that they should be patient and not focus on tying any one down.

The actress, who was a single mother herself before being married to fellow actor Phil Karanja, said that men first analyse you to see whether you have your life together before they can agree to settle down with a single mum.

She urged women to focus on their dreams and kids first and not dedicate their time in hunting for a husband.

Stay focused

Kate is the mother of a teenage boy whom she conceived at her first attempt at bring a “bad girl” back in campus.

In an Instagram Q and A session with fans, Kate was asked quite the tricky question by a curious user who wanted to know whether she was optimistic of getting married especially since she is a single mother.

“I had committed to give my son the best. Men can smell desperation from a mile away. They also notice a committed, hardworking woman especially one who loves her child unconditionally,” she said.

 

 

Jokate Mwegelo sends lovely message to Diamond Platnumz after sensational collabo with Fally Ipupa

Tanzanian District commissioner Jokate Mwegelo, who also dated Diamond Platnumz, recently left many tongues wagging after sending a lovely message to Diamond following his collabo with Fally Ipupa.

Taking to social media, Mwegelo shared that Diamond has proved he can really make hits after hits since joining the music industry 10 years ago.

“Kwa miaka 10 unatoa hit juu ya hit, unaziita anthem. Kama kijana mtafutaji usiyechoka, unayefungua njia kwa wengine kutokukata tamaa juu ya ndoto zao, kuweka ndoto kubwa kwenye maisha yao na kuhakikisha zinatimia unastahili pongezi nyingi sana sio kitu rahisi kabisa.”

Hit

Diamond and Fally have released the new track dubbed “Inama” which is proving to be yet another mega collabo. In the post, Mwegelo praised the song saying that she’s anticipating the video.

“Tunakupongeza na kukupa sifa zako sasa ukiwa bado hai!! Tunasubiiri uishiwe nyimbo kidogo tu maana. Here’s another anthem from your favorite  ft  Kisarawe tunakusoma kupitia Na tutasubiri kuchungulia video kupitia ,” she said.

Jokate sends lovely message to Diamond after his humble act

Tanzania actress turned district commissioner Jokate Mwegelo recently surprised her ex-lover Diamond Platnumz with a special message after his kind act to his home village.

During his birthday on October 2, Diamond spent time with youths from his village where he donated several stuff and encouraged them to stay away from drugs and crime.

His ex-lover Mwegelo was very impressed with his actions and sent him a special message on social media commending him for his work.

“Ni jambo zuri sana kukumbuka kule ulikotoka. Unabaki kuwa mfano hai kwa vijana wengi. Kile ulichofanya leo kitadumu kwenye mioyo ya wana Tandale kwa muda mrefu sana. Ubarikiwe na uendelee kuihudumia jamii zaidi kama ulivyofanya leo @diamondplatnumz” he said. 

Charity

Diamond also offered to provide health Insurance to more than 300 kids in his home village, to ensure that there medical bills are taken care of also.

“Wiki Nzima ya Birthday yangu, Ijumaa nitakuwepo pale Tandale na nitaalika watu tofauti tofauti. Na lengo langu kubwa ni kuzungumza na vijana wa Tandale na kuwapa maneno ya kuwapa moyo ile wajue ni wapi tumetoka ni wapi tunaelekea. Na siku hiyo nitatoa health Insurance kwa watoto sio chini ya miatatu.”

Diamond regrets dumping Jokate, Jokate doesn’t know why she dated him

While Diamond Platnumz is regretting dumping Tanzanian model Jokate Kidoti, Jokate doesn’t know why she dated him. Diamond recently came out to share that he regrets dumping the newly appointed District Commissioner.

“I dated her and then I broke up with her for Wema. It was very bad. When I sit down I think I have really done her wrong. She is still my friend and visits me but I really feel ashamed of the situation.” he said. 

Jokate, who dated the singer and then moved on to Alikiba after being dumped, said that she’s not sure why she went for Diamond in the first place.

Regrets

“I don’t know, sijui. Ni emotions and feelings. There are somethings you cannot explain. Siwezi kuelezea. Walai sijui, ningejua ningekuelezea,” Jokate said in an interview with a Tanzanian TV station.

Diamond also said that he’s not sure why he left her for Wema.

“I don’t know why I left her, maybe I was bewitched because she never wronged me. I think it was the folly of youth. She is very hardworking, civil and has really built her career. I still feel bad about it.”

Tanzanian government warns citizens against mocking Diamond’s ex-lover

Days after Tanzania president John Pomber Magufuli appointed Diamond Platinuz’s ex-lover Jokate Mwogelo as the new Kisarawe Provincial Commissioner, the online space has been buzzing with congratulatory messages and, trolls.

Some Kenyans and Tanzanians decided to mock Mwogelo after the appointment with many using her relationship as reference that she doesn’t deserve the post.

Tough

Tanzanian government, however, isn’t having that anymore and has now threatened to arrest any citizen mocking the new commissioner. Jokate’s appointment came as Magufuli’s government reshuffled some of its District and Provincial leaders.

Jokate also dated singer Ali Kiba. After the appointment, she confessed her journey hasn’t been easy in an Instagram post.
