Jalango denies he had a wedding, says it was just a family function

Comedian Jalang’o has come out to reveal that he didn’t have a wedding as people have been told on social media but had just a family meeting.

Speaking to his co-host on Mwakideu on Milele FM, Jalango cleared the air saying he didn’t have a wedding and that was just a family meeting that he went with friends.

“Mwakideu, you have known for the longest time that I have a wife. The weekend event was not a wedding, it was a function we had just gone to visit her family and I took a few good men with me.  They came with so much pomp that the news of it blew up all over social media,” he said. 

Jalang’o promised that when his wedding with Amina Chao comes, all his friends will be invited.

 “It was a fun weekend, the inlaws prepared everything so well for us. They welcomed us very well, I felt very welcome, I was at home. I even met my primary school teacher.” said Mwakideu. 

Jalang’o added, “Don’t worry guys when the day of my wedding comes, you will know you will get invites, or not.”

Comedian and radio host Jalang’o has gotten tired of Ringtone’s increasing online drama and is now urging him to go back to making music.

Ringtone started in a low gear when he first said he wanted to marry Zari Hassan.

Since then, it has been one controversial post after another something that has angered a section of Kenyans.

Jalang’o, who also blasted him when he claimed he wanted to buy a Range Rover for Zari, attacked him for his side shows on social media.

He also claimed that Ringtone has been faking a lot of things on social media including warning letters that he has been getting from his Runda community.

“Ringtone Apoko can you please stop your dramas and sing. Please stop your jokes and sing. Ringtone stop your side shows just sing. You should also do away with these things of writing warning letters to yourself, you are the chairman, the residents, your cows, the secretary, just sing,” Jalas said. 

Jalang’o predicts 2019: Willy Paul will officially become a secular artist, China will takeover Mombasa Port

As we crawl through the first week of 2019, many people have been sharing their personal goals and are glowing with optimism.

Many are also trying to predict how the year will go. Comedian Jalang’o recently shared his prediction of how the year will fall in place and it’s a bit surprising.

According to the radio host, China, who recently said they are not after Mombasa Port despite Kenya’s mounting debt, will still takeover the port. He also believes Willy Paul will release a secular song( what has he been releasing?) in 2019.

“Gospel Willy Paul will announce that he is finally a secular artiste because he has already shown signs with his latest music releases. Also, Masauti will become the biggest artiste in Kenya and this will happen by February. I won’t forget our brothers, China will take our Mombasa port because of our mounting debt.” said Jalang’o.

New songs

Comedian Chipukeezy also shared his view of 2019 saying that Huddah Monroe will hit the studio for a new jam.

“Socialite Huddah Monroe will release a song and call it ‘Nitaambia nini watu’, Miguna Miguna is expected to release a song called “I am back!”. I will bring Nick Minaj on a tour of Kenya to talk to the youths about drugs and Eric Omondi will be a news anchor.” he said.

Comedian Jalang’o has some advice for ladies who are involved in illicit affairs with older men. After what happened to Sharon Otieno recently, the comedian has come out to warn women in such affairs saying that they should now what they want first in such relationships.

“The death of Sharon Otieno has become a subject of discussion…This is a message to the ladies that have a sponsor, you have decided that you will have a sponsor, someone else’s husband. It’s something that is happening, we cannot bury our heads in the sand, sponsors exist. When you have a sponsor know that you are in a very illicit relationship. Know what you want, you are in an illicit relationship all you want is money and the old man wants to have a good time with you. Underline good time. You get your money, you are maintained well and you will be destroying another woman’s relationship,” He said on Milele FM.

Warning

The comedian went to assure ladies that men with families will do everything to protect themselves and their reputation and therefore ladies should be always aware of this.

“You have to be careful about everything because this person is protecting his family as much as he is a relationship with you. When you are in this kind of relationship eat the money and keep quiet, don’t complicate things. Anytime you try to blackmail them you are putting yourself in trouble,” he said.

Jalango added:

“Mambo ya kuanza kushika mimba na kutumia kama blackmail itakuingisha kwa mambo mbaya sana. You are in an illicit relationship and that should remain a secret. You are there for the money, get your money and keep quiet without complicating things. Having a sponsor is very risky and very dangerous, ”Jalas said.

Comedians troll Jalang’o for ‘forcing’ Obama to great him

Comedian Jalang’o will have one unforgettable day to add to his piling collection after meeting and working with former US president Barrack Obama who was recently in Kogelo for a charity event.

Jalas was the MC of the event and said that he got the job after he jokingly suggested he will be in the event as an MC. Comedian Chipukeezy and Eddie Butita however jokingly mocked the storied MC, saying that he forced Obama to shake his hand.

“Jalango atasumbua Sana..??? congratulations Bro,” Chipukeezy captioned the clip.

Jalang’o also tore them apart in the comment section saying:  “Bangi…bangi….kazi ku MC matanga na harambe za kujenga Choo za shule….mtapata taabu..kumbafffff ???”

Joke your way to success! How Jalang’o joked around and landed emcee job at Obama’s event

In a rather interesting twist, comedian Jalango got a chance to meet former US President Barrack Obama this week and it all started from a joke.

The comedian, who we all know jokes around a lot, explained how he landed the lucrative opportunity to MC for one of the most powerful men in the world while in he was in Kogelo recently.

“One morning on Hot 96, the news of Obama coming to town was all over so I told Jeff you know that when Obama comes to town I will be the MC as a joke. And I went on Youtube and told people about how I will do it, ” said Jalas in an interview on Citizen TV.

He went on to add that a team from Gina Din who were part of the organisers watched the video and called him asking him to show up for the job.

“Then the team from Gina Din watched the video and they called me. Lorna Irungu told me that ‘do you know some dreams come true. Guess who the MC for Obama is?’ Jalango said he was not aware. You are the MC. You just don’t wake up and be the MC for Obama. It is a long process. We had at least six meeting and plus a rehearsal. My phone for the past I don’t know how many days I could not just talk to you,” Jalas said.

Barely an year after ditching Radio Maisha and joining Royal Media Services Hot 96 FM, presenter and comedian Jalang’o is leaving again.

Word has reached Ghafla indicating that the comedian is also among those affected by the huge wave sweeping through Kenyan media and has tendered his resignation ready to join Milele FM.

Moving again

Last year he ditched Alex Mwakideu at Radio Maisha to join Jeff Koinange at Hot 96 FM. Jalas, who was crowned as the most popular radio personality in Kenya months ago, is in a list of many other presenters and radio employees that have been poached by Milele FM from Royal Media.

Royal Media Services Head of Radio Citizen Joyce Gituro, Francis Luchivya and comedian Wilbroda are among those poached.

Reactions from Jalango’s fans after landing lucrative deal with Wasafi records!

Comedian cum radio presenter Jalang’o is indeed making money moves. Thanks to his talent; he is now working as Diamond Platnumz official MC in Kenya something that has left his fans excited.

After making the announcement on his Instagram page earlier yesterday; fans flooded his comment section with congratulatory messages.

Judging from most of the comments it’s clear to see that the comedian has managed to create a fan base that fully supports him. There is no doubt that he is actually one of the most successful comedian cum MC in the country.

Support Kenyan artists first!

However not many were impressed by this. They claim that this was another strategy used by Diamond Platnumz to enough his music gets sufficient air play in Kenya.

This apprently blocks upcoming Kenyan artists to get anywhere since the radio presenters want to continue supporting where they get more cash from.

Well, lets just say it is business as usual in the entertainment industry!
