Jacque Maribe announces she’s not in-need of a man to marry her

Jacque Maribe must be handling many in her DM looking to wife her whenever she’s ready. However, after her wedding with Jowie Irungu failed to happen following murder scandal – Ms Maribe immediately ended the relationship and started focusing on herself.

Tbt: Maribe with ex fiancé, Jowie

Unlike before, the lady these days barely parades her lovers on social and last time we checked – she was linked to handsome man, Ben Kariuki after they were spotted kissing at Zero 19 Lounge in Nyeri Town.

The media personality however distanced herself from the rumors linking her to Mr Kariuki in a post where described him as a close friend. But looking at how they both locked lips – Maribe must have forgotten to mention how close these two are.

Maribe licking lips with ‘close friend’ Ben

No husband’s please!

With her denying her own bae in public, netizens on the other hand seem to have understood the assignment. She’s not done looking yet. Which explains the many men in her DM looking to wife her.

We say this after coming across Jacque Maribe’s latest IG stories post where she wrote;

I shed a tear for Jacque Maribe’s son

Eh eh no!

No husband!!!

These DM’s please

The post itself explains the current situation in  Maribe’s DM and since she doesn’t want a husband herself, maybe this is a sign of all single ladies who had lost hope in finding a husband.

Well, from Jackie’s post allow me to confirm that there are still men looking for wives out here, problem is most women are looking at the wrong places!

I shed a tear for Jacque Maribe’s son

Jacque Maribe has a son who is for all intents and purposes a boy looking at a hard future as his mother and father continue with their very public and very loud antics on social media. I am of course referring to more than the public paternity fraud tiff they had on social media but also the fact that his mother is constantly parading her men on social media and his father is a literal buffoon for likes.

Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe need to start caring about the child

You see, the low hanging fruit here (which I will get right to because I am a lazy prick) is the fact that no child should ever get to find out his mother’s dating (and indeed sexual) history. None among you want to know that your mother dated 5 men. None among you want to know that your father might not have been the first to take your virtuous mother nor that she wasn’t exactly as virtuous as you’d like to estimate.

Why do I say this? Well because I am a simple young man who leads a simple life ruled by a simple law; Occam’s razor. If Jacque Maribe has shown off 6 men means that there are more tucked away in her personal annals of shame. The one night stands and shortlived failed flings.

‘It Was A One Night Stand’- Eric Omondi Demands DNA Test After Jacque Maribe Referred To Him As A Deadbeat Dad

Let’s keep score. Not only were mummy and daddy arguing about whether or not their son was a wanted baby but now he has to also read about mummy’s many flings. I wouldn’t want to be this kid when he is being bullied in school. Mummy and daddy dearest give your most vile bully ammunition. They will actually have reference material regarding both his mother and father… And they will be unforgiving about his mother because that’s what will hurt.

Then there is the fact that the psychological effect seeing all these men wander in and out of your mother’s life creates a level of instability that compounds until it explodes on your life as an adult. What do you think goes through this young boy’s head when he sees his cousins with stable families or his friends with stable family lives?

On To The Next: Jacque Maribe Bags Herself A New Man After Dumping Jowie Irungu (Photo)

Jacque Maribe is literally the antithesis of stability as she has a new man every so often… And while this is not wrong for a young woman to do (pursue relationships), there is something that must be said about the fact that he is being socialised to think of this sought of disfunction as normal. He will grow up to either need therapy to help him unlearn the behaviours he is being exposed to or he will become the type of man who is constantly flighty in relationships, always looking for his next lay -or he will over-correct and become co-dependent to the point of being toxic.

Jacque Maribe

ANd that is not with us even taking into account that he might actually truly hate being in this familial setup and grow up to resent the fact he was exposed to it and because it is more difficult to hold our mother’s accountable for the way they raised us (societal indoctrination that worships the myth of the goddess), he might direct that animus at other women and become a true, living misogynist. You think not? Well, what if I told you that 80% of men incarcerated in America for doing harm to women due to misplaced anger were the product of single mother households?

Eric Omondi reveals why he remains unapologetic for exposing Jacque Maribe and Sam Ogina’s affair

What I am trying to get at is that the nonsense she is doing as a free, adult, consenting woman is still going to have consequences that may not be felt by her directly but will definitely be felt by the world her son grows up to touch. She is a mother for goodness sake. Perhaps, a little discretion would be advised. Keep your relationships and romps off social media and the internet. A day will come when Jacque Maribe’s son will be old enough to be curious about himself, his father and mother and when he goes to the internet for that information, what he will find will scar him.

But I guess I should just shut up about it and simply chronicle the shenanigans because at the end of the day it makes for great gossip fodder. And maybe when I am old enough to have my own mentees, they will cover the dumpster fire of a life the poor boy will have grown into and we will all still refuse to look at the root cause of all his plights and woes. I just pray he finds a way to surmount the bullshit. And yes, I know Amberay, Bridget Achieng and Vera Sidika’s children too will have the same problems, today my focus was on a woman many perceive as a strong, independent career woman.

Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe need to start caring about the child

Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe are clearly competing to be the winners of the uncovered prize of being the world’s worst parents. Why? Because of the way they are going back and forth about their son.

To be fair, Eric has shared the fact that he has doubts on whether or not the child is truly his. Fine. But why would Jacque Maribe put out any personal information about her relationship with the father of her child? I get that the man in question is a complete idiot but she chose to lay with him and sire a child.

Eric Omondi with ex, Jacque Maribe and son

Why did she not simply hang up when the idiot that is Eric Omondi decided to call her and ask about whether or not he is a deadbeat dad? Why did she respond to his post about taking responsibility for a child he is claiming as his? WHY?!

‘Wachana Na DNA, Women Choose The Father Of Their Children’-Akothee Advices Eric Omondi

Jacque Maribe and her ex are both idiots and we have to wonder whether they have passed on their limited iQ to their child. She should have known that anything she said with regards to Eric Omondi would always splashback at her son. She should have known that anything she does with regard to his subsequent relationships is a reflection on her child.

Co-parents, Jacque Maribe and Eric Omondi

I will never understand why a woman would choose to lay down with a clown like Eric Omondi and then make their domestic drama an issue for the nation to mock. No one cares. All people are doing is either mocking him or her depending on whom we relate to closer.

‘It Was A One Night Stand’- Eric Omondi Demands DNA Test After Jacque Maribe Referred To Him As A Deadbeat Dad

Now we are at the point where no one is really mentioning much in public discourse; that boy needs protection and therapy. He is being publicly denied by the clown that had claimed him publicly three short years ago. His mother’s modesty is also being questioned as it is being claimed he is a bastard -someone whose father is genuinely unknown.

Media personality, Jacque Maribe

And then that boy’s mother is busy putting his so-called father’s private shortcomings out in public for that same man to be mocked. For the boy to be reminded that Eric Omondi genuinely wants nothing to do with him outside of photo-ops and feel good father’s day posts.

Eric Omondi a deadbeat dad who won’t pay child support, Jacque Maribe reveals

Jacque Maribe has failed her son and done so because she became emotional and wanted to lash out at Eric Omondi. Now she needs to think about therapy for the boy because he is old enough to have his peers mock him while he is at school.

For Eric Omondi, reuniting with Jacque Maribe would be a big blunder

Eric Omondi and his baby mama, Jacque Maribe have finally come out to reveal that they share a love-child together. You see, for the longest time, a lot of rumours and gossip surrounded the issue of paternity regarding Jacque Maribe’s son.

“Eric Omondi recently approached me and hinted we can get back together,” Jacque Maribe spills (Video)

We knew she had a son but she had managed to remain mum about who the father was. It was not until she was dragged to court that we found out that the rumours were all false. You see, some of the people linked to the child are the ones I would only mention if I wanted to risk being taken in either an Edgar Obare-esque fashion or for you old heads, like Bogonko Bosire who was never heard from again.

Jacque Maribe
Friendship is, and always will be us – Jacque Maribe to Dennis Itumbi

So we found out that Eric Omondi was the baby daddy and he was a piss poor example of a father figure. They have since mended their fences and are now co-parenting.

“He jumped ship” Jacque Maribe opens up about her pregnancy and baby daddy, Eric Omondi

Jacque Maribe recently had an interview in which she spoke about her life and how being in court in connection to a murder case has affected her life. She didn’t discuss the court case but simply talked about everything else including her relationship with her baby daddy. What was interesting is that she revealed that he had approached her with the idea of reuniting. She claims she shut down that idea and we get the feeling she did so with extreme prejudice.

Jacque Maribe
Jacque Maribe with her ex, Eric Omondi

And while it is a real feel-good statement for every Independent Women™ out there, it is actually a worse idea for Eric Omondi to have rolling around in his coconut than it would be for Jacque Maribe. He stands to lose way more than he stands to gain if they were to reunite. Jacque Maribe would be gaining a permanent father figure for her son and it would actually be his daddy. She would be getting a man who is actually settled and not a shyster like her ex-fiance, Jowie Irungu. Perhaps this would lead to her becoming bored very soon given her penchant for badboys.

Jacque Maribe needs to completely stop mentioning Jowie cause she’ll always look weak

But for Eric Omondi, he would be tethering his fate to a woman who has the potential to torpedo everything he has worked hard to build. At the moment, he has more clout than she does and this is a brand that he can easily monetize. No brands want to be paired up with her while the question of her court case looms unanswered. It would in turn make Eric Omondi’s brand toxic by association.

Jacque Maribe
Jacque Maribe reporting about the murder case that forever changed her life

Then there is the matter of the possibility of going to jail for life in her murder case. Eric Omondi would have elected to tie his lot in with someone who could then have to go to prison for the rest of her life. While this would allow him to raise his son as a single father, I doubt he is prepared for such a daunting responsibility.

“I just don’t care about him” Jacque Maribe talks about Jowie Irungu months after bitter break up

Add to this the fact that getting serious with Jacque Maribe would mean he’d also have to help her with the financial burden of hiring the best legal defence team money can buy. Afterall, Eric Omondi would be looking to get himself involved in the biggest fight of her life.

Jacque Maribe with Eric Omondi and their son, Zahari

But when everything is said or done, the choice of how to complicate his life is entirely his own but in my opinion, Eric Omondi should perish the thought of reuniting with his ex, Jacque Maribe.

Jacque Maribe needs to completely stop mentioning Jowie cause she’ll always look weak

Jacque Maribe recently granted an interview and when the topic of conversation gravitated towards her former relationship with Jowie Irungu. It should really come as no surprise that people are interested in her failed relationship that led to engagement because the pair were actually pretty serious about leading a life together and they were very public about the relationship.

“I just don’t care about him” Jacque Maribe talks about Jowie Irungu months after bitter break up

Jacque and Jowie were “relationship goals” for many young people and impressionable idiots. All that came crashing down when the country was surprised to find out about Monica Kimani’s brutal murder that quickly came to engulf the couple with Jowie being the prime suspect and Ms Maribe being dragged to the docks right next to him.

Jacque Maribe
Journalist, Jacque Maribe

The lady quickly found out that Kenyan celebrities rarely have true fans but she was lucky enough to have some true blue friends who stood by her and did the most to support her in whatever capacity they could. It was disastrous to say the least but she was able to have a bit of a soft landing because of her chums.

“Jacque Maribe has never been a threat to me” Jowie’s baby mama finally speaks

The problem, however, is that she cannot help herself from talking about Jowie Irungu. While I understand that the questions are bound to get asked, shutting up and keeping your counsel is a response. And it is much more dignified than actually saying the following:

Jacque Maribe
Dennis-Itumbi-Jacque-Maribe-and-Joseph-Irungu-Jowie

I don’t talk about that man. One, because we have a court gag and there is no way of speaking about him and not giving details of what happened.

And second, I just don’t really care about him at all.

Jacque Maribe has to pursue political office

In truth, when you do not care about an individual, you remain silent about him. You do not keep answering every question about them while pretending not to care. You do not even care to send barbs their way because you have genuinely moved on and have no feelings whatsoever about the individual.

Jacque Maribe

And to help her think of ways to do this, I have some suggested scenarios and responses she could jack and I wouldn’t mind sharing the swagger:

It’s the right time for Jacque Maribe to pick up the pieces and rebuild her life

Interviewer: So tell us about you and Jowie Irungu, where do things stand?
Jacque Maribe: <Smiles and waves>

Interviewer: So Jowie is in a new relationship…
Jacque Maribe: <Sits silently and doesn’t respond>

Interviewer: Let us talk about Jowie Irungu.
Jacque Maribe: <Stands up and walks away>

Interviewer: Our viewers want us to talk a bit about Jowie.
Jacque Maribe: I can’t.

About the black and white photo challenge, and why you shouldn’t break the #ChallengeAccepted trend

The black and white photo challenge has taken up significant attention on social media. It’s a prompt amongst friends to post a personal photo, albeit in black and white, on Instagram and other social sites, with the caption #challengeaccepted.

Did you know it has evolved globally as a sign of women’s empowerment and is a part of a campaign called “women supporting women”?

Have you been “challenged” yet?

Michelle Ntalami in the Challenge
Michelle Ntalami in the Challenge

If you are a lady haven’t yet been challenged, there are chances that you will be. All it requires is to post a black and white photo with the caption “challenge accepted” and then passing the baton to the next woman. You have participated in the women empowerment campaign.

While many social media enthusiasts may do it for fun, it’s an inconsequential and valuable addition to the cause.

The origin of the challenge remains fluid, with many cites sources. The most authentic and realistic source has been tagged to women in Turkey protesting against femicide and gender-based violence. Other sources may be unrelated but have fuelled the movement, and prominent women personalities with huge following have participated.

On an abstract level, black and white colors have often been used as truth meters and morality gauges in the society. That is easily explained by the phrase “tell it to me in black and white”.

In photography, making the choice to use black and white instead has communicated an introspective seriousness, a kind of clarity of moral and artistic intent.  This is partly due to the idea that facts are black and white and color is some kind of wild, luxurious distraction.

Is there any truth in that?

Sussie Kirea and Ann Njambi on Facebook

Kenyan celebrities on Instagram haven’t been left behind in the empowerment drive.

Instagram tags the challenge as “meant to celebrate strength, spread love, and remind all women that supporting each other is everything.”

Just to name a few: Yvonne Okwara. Jacquie Maribe. Michelle Ntalami. Avril. Sage. Mayonde.

Wherever the origin of the challenge, it’s a big motivation for the women and a reason to support each other. It’s a ‘feel-good’, power-to-the-women feeling that sheds light to atrocities meted upon the gender mostly for being female. It also sends a precedent for future generation to fight against gender abuse.

What you waiting for?

Accept the challenge, and pass it on!

#ChallengeAccepted.

Jacque Maribe has to pursue political office

Jacque Maribe was one of the more popular news anchors who plied their trade at Citizen TV. The seemingly demure little lady, however, had her life completely shifted due to her former fiance who got her embroiled in a not only a murder investigation but the subsequent case.

Revealed! The 2022 political seat Jacque Maribe is eyeing

Jacque Maribe’s name was dragged into the state’s investigation into the grisly murder of Monica Kimani and she was even jailed alongside Joe Irungu, her former beau.
When that happened, she and her lawyers fought for her to be granted bail or bond and released as she has a young son who she needs to take care of.

jacque maribe

The judge granted her bail with terms that honestly left Citizen little choice but to gradually ease her out of their employment as she was no-longer adding to the bottom line. And Jacque Maribe since then has taken to business and hosting a karaoke night.

It’s the right time for Jacque Maribe to pick up the pieces and rebuild her life

But what is one such as she to do with all the popularity and renown she cultivated? Jacque Maribe would be wasting her status if she didn’t take a stab at vying for political office. And she would be in grand company what with her court case.

jacque maribe and denis itumbi

You see, several Members of Parliament such as Jaguar and currently Babu Owino have been hauled to court following the demise of some people through a road accident or a public shooting that nearly killed a young DJ respectively.

Why Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe fixed their issues

Jacque Maribe was also rumoured at one point to be rather close to Kenya’s deputy president, William Ruto.  What was however confirmed ids the fact that she doesn’t indeed have friends in high places as when she was originally arrested, it has been reported that very senior members of the government attempted to protect her from that.

jacque maribe in the docks

Add to this the fact that she is very close to Itumbi and you can see that she does indeed have all the chips in place for her to take that leap of faith and vie for office. There is also the added bonus that should she get to office before the ruling of the Monica Kimani case, she could always count on her fellow members of the August house to protect her.

Why Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe fixed their issues

Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe are the father and mother to a healthy and hearty young son. While this is now common knowledge, but there was a time when it was a heavily guarded and closely protected by media industry gatekeepers.

Eric Omondi shares story of how he met and fell in love with, Jacque Maribe!

When Jacque Maribe was in court for the mentioning and bail application of her and Joey Irungu’s court case pertaining to the murder of Monica Kimani. And while there one of the things that came to light is the fact that Eric Omondi had largely been a deadbeat father, not involved in any way shape or form in the life of their son. As a result, Jacque used this as one of the reasons for her application for bail/ bond and this says a lot about the nature of the relationship between them.

eric omondi

As you can expect, the two of them were not on the same page and had a non-existent relationship. But all that changed when Jacque Maribe was brought up on charges because she could be facing an extended amount of jail time. As a result of that reality aswell as the negative public attention that was poured his way.

“Motherhood is no mean feat!” Jacque Maribe pens on son’s 6th birthday (Photos)

And so they made peace and have been sharing photographs of them enjoying time with their son and Eric Omondi has seemingly thrown himself deep into his formerly neglected role of fatherhood. But what really made him decide to fix his issues with the mother of his children? And I believe I know what it was that triggered his decision.

Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe
Co-parents, Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe

Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe decided to get back together. I’m just kidding. I actually already mentioned it earlier, they are facing the possibility of Jacque Maribe facing a long amount of time behind bars. As one can imagine, this is something that would make any couple sober up.

Is it Jacque Maribe or Chantal? Eric Omondi finally explains his complicated relationship status!

And so, faced with the possibility that he might have no access to his son, Eric Omondi decided to get involved so that perhaps, should her case not pan out according to her hopes, Jacque Maribe might consider giving him custody of their son or in the very least, very generous visitation rights.

The reason Jacque Maribe has been so successful at love

Jacque Maribe is an enigma. How she has managed to love men who in turn love her and remain steadfast in their loyalty to them long after the relationship has run its course is something for the annals of history. You see, we often get a glimpse into her private life thanks to the fact that she used to publicize every aspect of her romantic life with the exception of one relationship -that with Eric Omondi.

jacque maribe and dennis itumbi

What Betty Kyalo had to say after fans pressured her to speak about Jackie Maribe’s drama

Eric Omondi’s situation was a well-guarded secret that was whispered in different corners but never confirmed until we saw Jacque Maribe go to court. Other situations that were poorly guarded include the one involving Dennis Itumbi. Photos surfaced of Jacque Maribe and Itumbi kissing and we were then treated to absurd explanations.

Then from there the most serious relationship we were treated to was her engagement to Jowie Irungu but because that is a matter still in court, we cannot say too much on that.

The question that many have been asking is, “What is it about Jacque Maribe that keeps these men completely locked in even when there is no clear discernible benefit to them?”
“What did she offer that these men are convinced they cannot find elsewhere?”

jacque maribe and eric omondi

When you look at her hitlist, her past relationships were with men whose names read like a register of who is who in the Kenyan entertainment and even socio-political landscape. What that stands to prove is that in our third world setup, these are high-value men.

jacque maribe in the docks with jowie irungu

Perhaps this is proof of the fact that Jacque Maribe has female game. No, that isn’t a euphemism for anything sensual. I mean she knows how to game men’s minds on a level that breaks these men’s minds. That speaks to how well she understands the average man’s mentality and knows how to package herself to leave an indelible mark.

Jacque Maribe and Mike Sonko raise eyebrows as they sit dangerously close to each other (Photos)

Another thing that Jacque Maribe has a knack for attracting simps. The archetype of men who want to play out their hero schema and save a woman. And she is adept at playing the role of the damsel in distress which allows these men to want to save her from her dragons. That is why these men always fall over themselves trying to get to court to support her during her appearances and why they allegedly clamoured to get her some support for from bigwigs when she was initially arrested.

Dennis Itumbi once again writes a sweet poem for Jacque Maribe on her birthday

She knows how to be feminine. Jacque Maribe has never come off as a domineering woman. She isn’t one of the women you look at and feel will be a daily headache to deal with. She never once came across as a contrarian. And in this world where there is a dearth of calm, amenable women, Jacque Maribe stands out.

She has a certain approachability. Aesthetically, she isn’t a stunner. She is a plain Jane. The type of lass you would expect to see right next door. This in and of itself makes men believe they stand a chance with her. So multiple men do try their luck.

‘Judge used most uncouth words’ Jowi pens deep letter to JSC after Judge called him woman eater

Joseph Irungu alias Jowie has come out to bash Justice James Wakiaga for calling him a woman eater.

In a letter to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), Jowie denied ever “eating a woman or any human being at all” and said the definition was uncalled for.

Jowie through his lawyers has come out fighting to shake off the tag “woman eater”.

“Indeed the judge used the most uncouth, derogatory and injudicious language against me as being a male version of a slay queen,” Jowie wrote.

“By describing me as a woman-eater, the judge abused his position and compounded the female gender to be nothing less than items to be eaten which is quite foul, degrading coming from a sitting judge,” he went on.

Punish him

He also accused the judge of robbing him of his innocence by describing him as a “woman eater” and now wants him punished.

“The judge has already taken away my right of innocence until proven guilty, stripped me of my dignity, respect and my right to societal standing. In the words of the judge, I am a hopeless person who depends on women for sex and kills them if I must. In his mind, the judge is already convinced, believes and has pre-empted my guilt, awaiting conviction and sentence,” said Jowie.

“Indeed the judge used the most uncouth, derogatory and injudicious language against me as being a male version of a slay queen. I submit that disciplinary action is taken against him including finding that he is not fit to serve as a judge of the High Court so that a process for his removal be undertaken to rid the Judiciary of personnel such as him who bring the institution into disrepute,”he added

Maribe has just driven out the gates of Langata Womens Prison. Home, sweet home – Itumbi

For the first time in almost two months, Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe slept in a cozy bed in BuruBuru with her parents and Dennis Itumbi’s heart settle down.

Maribe was released on Tuesday after Justice James Wakiaga granted her a Sh1 million bail with three sureties. However, Maribe could not immediately go as verification of surety documents was slow.

According to Itumbi, the verification process, which sometimes involves checking the property to ascertain ownership, worth and whether persons standing surety are citizens, was taking too long and Maribe almost spent another night at Langata Women Prison.

“Yesterday, the same games were employed. The Deputy Registrar declined to sign the letter committing documents to land registry and registrar of persons yesterday. We decided to wait for today,” Itumbi said on Twitter.

“This morning family and friends reported at the High Court at 7am and the Deputy Registrar signed a letter that was on her desk from last evening at 11am. No problem with that, we can live with that.”

Celebration

After Jacque was released, Itumbi tweeted:

“Jacque Maribe, has just driven out the gates of Langata Womens Prison. Home, sweet home. Thanks for maombi.”

Kenyans have been trolling the two ever since the announcement was made as on Tuesday.

Donald Kipkori: Judge James Wakiaga seems to believe Jowie is guilty and Jackie Maribe innocent

Nairobi Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has shared his sentiments after Jacque Maribe was given bail and Jowi Irungu denied one by High Court Judge James Wakiaga.

According to the judge, Irungu was denied bail because he’s as a male version of a slay queen and has no house to go to a thing that Kipkorir says shows the judge was biased.

“A male version of a slay queen, which for lack of a better word, I’ll call a woman eater. He was living in the house of the second accused. driving the second accused’s car, with no known source of income since 2017 when he provided security for some Jubilee politicians,” said Wakiaga.

Bail

On Twitter, Kipkorir responded to Justice Wakiaga’s ruling insisting he failed the ultimate pillars that make a good judge.

“Have read the full ruling of Justice James Wakiaga. With tremendous deference to him, he went beyond the threshold on rulings for Bail. He seems to believe Jowie Irungu is guilty & Jackie Maribe innocent. A Judge must be Courteous, Wise, Sober & Impartial. The Judge failed all,” he tweeted.

The court’s decision saw Maribe released on KSh 2 million bail while Jowie was denied bail. He will remain in remand ahead of countless trials scheduled for 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th and 27th of June 2019.

He’s nothing but a woman eater! Mixed reactions after Judge described Jowie a male version of a slay queen

Kenyans have been left pondering High Court Judge James Wakiaga’s description of murder suspect Joseph Irungu, alias Jowie after he denied him bail yesterday and granting Jacque Maribe.

According to the judge, Irungu was denied bail because he’s as a male version of a slay queen and has no house to go to.

“A male version of a slay queen, which for lack of a better word, I’ll call a woman eater. He was living in the house of the second accused. driving the second accused’s car, with no known source of income since 2017 when he provided security for some Jubilee politicians,” said Wakiaga.

Maribe has been released on a Sh1 million cash bail in the Monica Kimani murder case. She was granted an alternative of a Sh2 million bond or three sureties of a similar amount. Her fiance Joseph Irungu alias Jowie, on the other hand, will remain in custody for the rest of the murder trial.

No address

The next hearing is in June 2019. Wakiaga said that Irungu has no home to go to or any sibling that awaits him therefore shouldn’t be granted bail.

“Whereas the first accused (Irungu) has indicated that his siblings are likely to find him an alternative accommodation, there’s no evidence placed before this court to support this preposition,” Wakiaga said.

“The first accused has no known assets in the country say for an intention to set up a private security firm. I therefore find him to be with not fixed aboard, lacking any deep emotional occupation or family ties in the country and is likely to abscond should need arise,” he added.

Maribe will use her Citizen TV news platform to win Kenyans if released on bail – DPP

State counsel Catherine Mwaniki yesterday told court that Citizen TV anchor Jacque Maribe should be barred from presenting news because she might use the platform to sway Kenyan’s support regarding her on going murder case.

The prosecutor further argued that Maribe should not be given bail because she might still do the same when she’s out and mingles with the public.

“All we are saying is that being a media personality, there is a high possibility that while mingling with the members of the public, she is likely to take advantage to influence the witnesses,” the assistant DPP said.

Not yet

Though Jackie Maribe’s lawyers rejected the bid, Judge James Wakiaga said Maribe and her fiancé will remain in custody until Tuesday, October 30, the day the court will rule on their bail application.

Dennis Itumbi denies he’s fighting for Jacque Maribe in court so that she can marry him when out

Dennis Itumbi has been really fighting for Jacque Maribe’s freedom after she was accused of the murder of Monica Kimani alongside fiance Joseph Irungu.

Itumbi yesterday penned a lovely poem dedicated to Maribe as she was fighting for bail.

Fans claim that Itumbi is fighting for her because he’s still in love with her and wants to date her when she gets out.

“You’re a very calculating fisi. You know that somehow the lady may win the case and now you’re placing yourself strategically to earn dividends where you’ll be raiding the cookie jar with much ease now that the competition will be probably be rotting behind bars. Tafadhali Dennis Itumbi Wacha kuharibu nyumba ya Jowie,” said one fan.

“Do you know that Jackie Maribe is 2 months pregnant of Jowis kid? Can you stop shouting somebody’s wife name at night! Ulishindwa na kazi brathe.” said another.

Prayers

Itumbi denied that he was after winning Maribe from Jowi.

“Is she? Thanks for the info. Still, may she weigh innocent on the graphical and real scales of Justice”

Awww! Itumbi pens lovely poem as Jacque Maribe hopes to be released on bail today

State House Digital Director Dennis Itumbi has written yet another letter dedicated to Jacque Maribe, this time a lovely poem to give her hope.

Jacque and Governor Obado will be in court today. Maribe is crossing her fingers hoping that the judge will give her bail after confessing that she has a kid and didn’t help fiance Jowi in the murder of Monica Kimani.

Support

Itumbi has stood with Maribe’s in her case all the way showing support in each and every proceeding.

Here’s the letter he posted:

Today as you seek to get bail, I can only pen a little poem, written through a keyboard, but composed from the depth of a soul that has always connected to your heart.

Creating a friendship that we both know, will never pause.

Situations come and go, but our friendship will outlast fake headlines, rumours, false accusations, social media updates, the blog frenzy and even the unfair comments thereafter.

Here my hand,

I wish I had a moment’s eraser,

I would sure delete what faces you today,

Instead – fill the moment with laughter and Joy.

I wish I would be able to move time to tomorrow,

Tomorrow, when am certain you will be free,

Tomorrow, when Justice will have been served,

Tomorrow, when today will be yesterday,

Tomorrow, when your mountains will be flattened,

Tomorrow, like Sarafina to sing, Freedom is coming…

Tomorrow, when I can watch the wind blow your hair,

….and you push the braids back in defiance of interruption, and ruthless focus on your goals,

Tomorrow, when you can dream again!

But Here my hand,

No matter what happens,

I know I will be there to whisper my reservations,

I know I will be there to cheer you up,

I know I will be there to watch you dance in victory!

Here my hand,

Use it as your extra strength,

Use it to write your new chapter,

Use it to bounce back,

Here my hand,

Have enough of it for support and strength,

Then let it go,

There is a reason storms are named after women,

You are a storm, yes you are,

I know you cannot be stopped by the dust of outright lies and falsehoods,

I await the storm in your name,

Sweep us all with your transformation…

Dear Storm,

Jacqueline Wanjiru Maribe!

At the end of it, I pray that Justice is served to all.

Jacque Maribe: I am a single mother let me go see my child

Citizen TV Jacque Maribe has asked the court to grant her bail because she’s a single mother and should be taking care of her four-year-old son.

Maribe, who has been given another week in remand after the court set her bail hearing to October 24, filed an affidavit pressing the court for bail stating that her son is young and she is a single mother.

“I am a single mother of a child aged four who solely depends on me for social and financial upkeep. He is of tender age and will deeply suffer if I remain in custody until the conclusion of the murder trial which might take long,” she said.

Bail

She told court that she would not jump bail because she’s famous and everyone knows her. She asked the court to let her see her son who is only four and might be suffering.

“There are no compelling reasons whatsoever that can deny me bond. I’m a well-known TV journalist. Most Kenyans are conversant with my job and can easily spot me anywhere; therefore, making it impossible to jump bail,” said Maribe.

“I was not involved in the murder, was not at the scene of the murder, and had no knowledge of (Monica) or any person known to her. Any association alleged against me with the murder is wholly weak circumstantial association with Irungu,” she added.

Jacque Maribe: The first time I met Jowie was at a Jubilee Party function

Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe on Monday in a court hearing shared how she first met Joseph Kuria Irungu.

According to the embattled journalist, she first bumped into him during Jubilee Campaigns in 2017.

“The first time I met Jowie was in mid July at Jubilee Party functions one at Bomas of Kenya and later at Kasarani,” she said.

Maribe, who together with Irungu are facing murder charges after Monica Kimani’s death, went on to tell the court that Jowi was working as a VIP guard to former Taita Taveta Woman Representative Joyce Lay and also a private military firm in Dubai then.

Panicked

Jacque also told the court of how things played out that fateful night when Irungu shot himself.

She said that she panicked after Irungu shot himself but when she went for her phone, she returned only to find Irungu gone.

“”He kept crying, saying ‘Jacque I am sorry’ but I ignored him. I heard what sounded like a gunshot. I jumped out of bed and went to the closet. He was lying on the floor, he had blood on his upper left chest area.

“I ran out and found Jowie lying down. Brayan and his wife Kate ran out to where Joseph was lying bleeding,” she narrated.

Why didn’t you marry Jacque Maribe? Fans continue to pressure Eric Omondi

A section of Kenyans believe Jacque Maribe’s problems all started after Eric Omondi dumped her. Sources have also implied that Maribe’s son is Omondi’s though the comedian has denied the allegations.

After Maribe was sent to Langata Women Prison, Omondi posted a photo of her son on social media to show support.  Kenyans ended up attacking her, asking why he dumped her in the first place.

One fan wrote, “I hope you are helping the kid. Let the peace flow in that house.”

Another added, “Why post the child now though? Right attention, wrong timing… May Justice prevail for Jacky, Jowi and Monica in Equal Measure.”

“Are you doing this because you are the dad alitorokanga ama?or did she give you the permission?please don’t do this in her absence.ungekuwa na nia mzuri ungepost when the mum posted.but now that is in bad faith.”

“The only person we are going to sympathize with is the mother of the slain child. So stop this.”

“Time to stand up for your son. Time to man up and be that pillar while she goes through this season.

Marry her

Omondi recently confessed he’s not the father of the kid but knows the dad. Recently, after being approached for comment on the issue, Omondi was dodgy and didn’t want to say much.

I don’t want to speak about Jacque Maribe. I am in Bungoma for a stadium tour.” he said.

Asked what he thinks of the various comments taking jabs at him, Eric said:

“Sioni watu wakitroll (I cannot see anyone trolling me”. I have read the comment and I don’t see any troll.”

“Story ya kuoana (On that story of getting married). Call me after one minute.” said Omondi after being asked whether he’ll marry her.

Jowi’s Mum: People have turned against me and they see our home as that of killers. I can’t leave the house

Joseph Irungu’s mum has shared that she’s paranoid and fears for her life after their son was named the prime suspected in Monica Kimani’s murder case.

Irungu’s mother said that she’s afraid to leave the house or even check who is outside the gate because she doesn’t know what they are planning.

I can’t leave the house. I can’t open the gate when someone knocks. I can’t even let my guests in because of fear and I keep wondering who might come in and what they will do to me,” said Joe Irungu’s told NTV.

She went to say that even her close friends have turned against her and they have labeled her family as killers.

People have turned against me and they see our home as that of killers except for a few friends,”  she added.

“I am pleading with the investigators not to rush matters, but to do thorough investigations to reveals who actually did it,” Joe Irungu’s father added.

Not him

Irungu’s dad also added that his son didn’t commit the crime and despite the evidence.

“Shedding of blood is bad; we are not siding with anyone; but I believe my son is innocent. I was shocked to see the report in the papers that DNA samples were showing 99.9 per cent confirmation. I am hoping they can track everything and do thorough investigations. We are wondering how they arrived at that.”

Terryanne Chebet forced to respond to news that Jacque Maribe’s click has now ditched her after boyfriend messed her

Kenyans have been wondering where Jacque Maribe’s friends have ran to now that thing are heating up after she was dragged into Monica Kimani’s murder.

Many believe her close friends that include Hot 96’s Shix Kapienga, TV director Monica Kiragu, Fanaka Television CEO Terryanne Chebet and former presenter Kirigo Ngarua have ditched her as a seat got hotter.

Support

None of her friends has really given a direct public consolation to Maribe as most of them have chosen to post encrypted messages on social media that have been seen as a message for encouragement for Maribe.

Chebet was recently forced to  respond to fans who demanded that she needs to do more to help her friend. According to one, the CEO and other friends are not doing enough on social media to help her friend.

Here’s the chat that Chebet had with fans in one of his posts.
