Former Machachari actor Almasi also known as Ian Nene has been on a spiritual journey as he tries his true purpose on earth. This comes months after hinting that he was part of the LGBT community that seems to have embraced back in the UK where he was schooling.
Part of the new changes are his buddhist monk religion. As seen on his social media pages, Ian Nene seems at peace and contented the man he has since become.
However we cannot say the same for his fans who continue to follow up with the former actor despite quitting his acting career. Most of his Kenyan fans seem worried for the young man; as they have never witnessed such ‘spiritual’ callings especially in the African setup!

Ian Nene explains his religion
The dictionary describes a monk as a person who decides to dedicate his life to serving all other living beings; or to be an ascetic who voluntarily chooses to leave mainstream society and live his or her life in prayer and contemplation.
Well this is also the same explanation Ian Nene gave after one of his fans went on to inquire why he now values cows. The fan went on to ask;

To which Ian Nene aka Almasi responded by saying;
Swali lako yanipa furaha. Maana ya kuweka picha kama hizi kwa mtandao ni kuonyesha kwamba sio ng’ombe tu, lakini wanyama wote ni wa Mola. Na shida yetu kama binadamu ni tumeamua kwamba sisi ndio hupanga maisha ya wanyama wake. Ng’ombe ni kama mama. Yeye hutupatia dawa, maziwa na ulinzi. Mbona sasa tuwauwe wanyama wa Mungu? Shida yetu ni kwamba ulimi zetu zinatulinda Kufanya mabaya duniani… na ni lazima tubadilishe tabia zetu zinazotupoteza maishani.
