Scientific studies have shown that marijuana can impact mental clarity, especially with frequent or heavy use. The active component THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) interacts with the brain’s cannabinoid receptors, affecting memory, concentration, and perception. Long-term use can lead to cognitive decline and other mental health issues.
Earlier this year, Huddah shared her thoughts on alcohol addiction, calling it a significant problem in Kenya and across Africa. Through personal reflection, she discovered that alcohol made her feel angry, stubborn, and resentful. Although she once considered marijuana a better choice than alcohol, she has since stopped using it altogether.

“These days, drinking is for celebrating, not for getting drunk and causing trouble… When I drink, I become someone else—angry, resentful, and argumentative. Everything annoys me when I’m drunk,” she admitted in a June Instagram post.
Huddah, known for her outspoken views, has sparked public debate in the past with statements like “Kenyan men are stingy” and her remark that “Nairobi is too small for her,” implying her preference for dating internationally.
