Sad! Gospel singer Esther Wahome also loses dad to cancer

Gospel singer Esther Wahome is currently mourning the death of her father EV. William Wahome Gikonyo.

Wahome took to social media to inform her fans that she has lost her dad who died on Saturday, July 27 after succumbing to cancer. She took to social media to share how instrumental her dad was in her life.

“RIP my loving dad EV.William Wahome Gikonyo
My dad,my mentor, my spiritual cover, my prophet,my friend, my greatest fan,my cheer leader.
Today is the second day since you were transferred to heaven, and though I know you are in a better place ,the pain is unbearable,” she said. 

“You taught me the word, you taught me to be a prayer worrior,you made me understand my kingdom mandate, you taught me music,you taught me how to proclaim and possess all that is my portion, you taught me how to pull down strongholds, you taught me how to take charge! You taught me resilience,You taught me kingdom mysteries,You raised a kingdom giant in me!!!” she added. 

Killer disease

Her father’s death comes just days after Kenya lost Kibera MP Ken Okoth, Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso and Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore also from cancer.

Kambua finally pregnant after seven years of trying(photo)

Gospel singer Kambua is pregnant.

Social media is currently awash with congratulatory messages as the gospel singer revealed her baby bump in a lovely photo.

Kenyans on social media celebrated like she’s family because most are clear with how tough Kambua’s journey has been regarding starting a family.

Frustrations

The singer has been married for seven years now to Jackson Mathu and had been childless since then. This attracted social media trolls and bullying which always left her stressed.

“There’s nothing I haven’t been told, from you must have aborted many children, go get yourself checked, ulirogwa na nani?” Kambua once said. 

“I remember thinking, the reason why it angers me is because people don’t even know what your journey is like. They don’t know what you’re struggling with.

“They don’t know if you even what to have children, they don’t know if you can have children and there are so many people especially today who are struggling with infertility.

“It so unfortunate that we become such a culture of being so intrusive and putting people down. Shamming each other on things like that. I would wish that people would be sensitized. I have people who are close to me who might not be at the fore front like I am but who go through that everyday.”

Married gospel singer accused of neglecting his side dish:We met at a night club, he got me pregnant and now he’s not supporting the baby

Gospel singers once in a while find themselves in trouble and fans haven’t been shy of judging them.

The recent culprit is singer Ole Willy who is being accused by his baby mama of neglecting his son sired three years ago.

A quick take through on who Ole Willy is; he was introduced in the music industry by veteran singer Daddy Owen and Danco after they collaboed in “Hafungi Macho”. He also done songs such as ‘Khubira Byosi’ featuring Pastor Timothy Kituyi and “Maskio Ya Mungu.”

With that said, let’s get back to the drama.

The Eldoret based singer, who is married with two kids, is being accused by his baby mama Lyn for neglecting his baby.

Speaking to The Star, Lyn narrated how they met in a club in Nairobi and kicked off their relationship.

“I met Ole Willy at a city night club back in 2016 and was introduced to him by a mutual friend. We clicked and started dating. In the same year, I gave birth and we kept it on the low. He promised to be sending 5k every month for the child’s upkeep, but he rarely fulfills his promise. At times he sends less or doesn’t send anything at all. In December he sent 2k only.” she said. 

She added:

“I started digging for information about him to know the kind of man my baby daddy was, only to find out that out that he had a family. He keeps telling me that if I go to court, he will not provide even that 2k. And exposing him will be a waste of time because his fans will shut me up. He has never even bought a pair of socks for his son.”

Vague reply

The single mother went on to say that she just wants him to take responsibility for his child. When reached for comment, Ole Willy had a funny explanation before promising to call back.

“Whether I have a kid out of wedlock or not, in our culture I know it sounds bad. Because people will see you like you’ve been sidetracked or something,” he said.

 

Popular gospel artist involved in grizzly accident after collapsing while on the wheels hours before his show

Renowned international gospel artist Donnie McClurkin has survived an accident after passing out while on the wheels.

McClurkin, who was scheduled to perform in Nairobi this weekend, took to social media to testify how God saved him after the accident which would have killed him.

“Was in a serious accident at 12:50am this morning…passed out while driving on the highway. Totaled the car…hospitalized, going through a myriad of tests…..But I’m alive!!!” he said. 

Happy to be alive

According to the popular singer, he got lucky after his car veered off the road and crashed into the concrete island. He sustain several injuries but he’s glad they are not too serious.

“Lost consciousness driving…but two human angels followed my swerving car with their emergency blinkers onto stop traffic ….drove behind me until my car crashed into the middle concrete island. I remember none of it except those two angels pulling me out of the passenger’s side of the crumbled TOTALED car..airbags deployed…crushed metal and Fiberglas!! I AM ALIVE!!!!” he said.

Adding:

“Somewhat mangled, stitches on left thumb, sprained wrist, hurt knee, but I’m still here! God and two angels saved my life! I owe them… I am still here by the grace of God! Thank you, Lord…thank you!”

Gospel singer Mr Seed had a huge surprise for his mum that has always supported him in his career. The singer is said to have gifted his mum a brand new Audi as a gift. But some are doubting.

No gift

It’s not really clear if it was a gift or he was just shooting a new music video. Gospel artists have perfected the art of lying to their followers whenever they are about to release something. Some fans even argued that the he doesn’t have a car how can he gift his mum with one?

Anyhow, Mr Seed took to social media to flaunt his love for his mother saying:

“BEST MOM EVER.. one for my mom ☺☺??.” he said.

Popular radio presenter forced to come out clean on allegations that she’s being ‘feasted’ by gospel singer Hope Kid

Hope Kid has just released a new song called “Perfect” but it seems some things have not been perfectly communicated yet.

The gospel singer and Radio Jambo presenter Annitah Raey might be having a secret relationship, at least according to their fans.

This is after Raey has taken to Instagram several times to share a bunch of photos of the gospel singer, something that has left her fans scratching their heads.

He always looks good

Anitah has now come out to deny the two are having some actions under the covers saying that it’s just a NORMAL crush.

“I have known Hopekid since he began music, and the pictures I post of him really look good, so I have all the reason to like them and crush on him every day. That does not mean we are dating or we are not. The thing is he is a good artiste who is really working so hard,” she said in an interview with the Star.

“He is one of the most saved gospel artistes I know, who is not there for money but for the true gospel.”
