The coronavirus is no joke but seems only European countries understand how bad it is especially with the high death rate in Italy!

However African’s on the other hand have taken this pandemic lightly as they continue to go on with their daily routines; not worrying whether they will be infected or exposed to the deadly virus!

So far Kenya has reported 25 cases with no deaths recorded yet! Even with the numbers increasing everyday, most seem unbothered as they head to their places of work hoping to make a few coins here and there to sustain their families!

Close down the airport, malls, supermarkets!

For this reason city pastor Godfrey Migwi has come out to plead with the president to order a major lock down in the country!

As seen on his detailed post, the pastor pointed out major reasons as to why the borders, Malls, Supermarkets and places of worship should be shut down for quarantine purposes!

Corona being a grounded virus, it is easily passed on from one person to the other – and with how Kenya is crowded especially at bus stations, Malls and places of worship; pastor Migwi feels that the president will be able to save the nation by ordering a lock down like most European countries!

Save yourself, save lives!

In his post, the pastor also pointed out that it was better for the economy to hit rock bottom but save lives while at it; because we only live once. He went on to write saying;

On 7th August Kwale Woman Representative Zulekha Hassan brought the House business to a stand still after walking into the National Assembly with her five-month-old baby, Mwana Baraka.

From the stories making rounds on social media, we understand that the house was inactive for 20 minutes as National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale immediately drew attention towards the baby as he told the Deputy Speaker Chris Omulele that there was “presence of a stranger” in the House.

This forced the lady and her baby to be thrown out of parliament something that left most Kenyans including Pastor Godfrey Migwi angry.

Godfrey condemns politicians!

In a new post shared by outspoken city pastor Godfrey Migwi; he came out bashing the politicians who couldn’t handle the presence of a baby in parliament.

According to the pastor we continue to act like our own colonizers if something like a baby being carried to parliament can cause a stir.

He went on to give examples of whites who carried their toddlers to parliament and were allowed to have them present and even breastfed them. Through his Facebook page he wrote saying;

Bishop Godfrey Migwi has revealed that he will no longer be part of Kameme FM after resigning from his job.

The pastor who was a co-host with man Nyari and Kamlesh in the Wednesday day night show ‘Kwenjera Uma Wa Mandiko announced his exit through his Facebook page.

Despite this being a hard decision for him, close sources to the pastor say it had to be done. Apparently Migwi landed in trouble with his bosses after sharing a video questioning the president’s development record in Central Kenya.

This was however not the first time as he had earlier warned President Kenyatta to work on his anger issues just days after lashing at Mount Kenya leaders.

Goodbye for now

With all that said and done Migwi confirmed that he was no longer going to be part of Kameme FM.

Through his Facebook page the pastor wrote an emotional post thanking everyone who was a fan of his show and for the great experience he had received with his cohosts. He wrote saying;

City preacher calls Sonko an idiot who doesn’t deserve leadership position as photos emerged of disabled struggling to get to CBD following matatu ban

Sonko’s administration didn’t factor in the disabled, the sick and the aged when they rolled out blanket ban of matatus from the city.

The Nairobi county government effected the ban from Monday December 3rd prompting thousands for Nairobians to trek for kilometers to the CBD.

The move which is aimed to relieve the congestion of CBD, caused confused on Monday and did little to ease traffic jam on Nairobi roads.

Pastor Godfrey Migwi of the Hope Church has sent a strong message to Nairobi governor warning him that when when the poor cry God also makes the rich cry.

Migwi says Sonko’s decision to ban matatus from the CBD is punishing poor Nairobians who don’t have personal cars or who can’t afford to hire taxis to take them to the CBD.

“This matatu town center ban with no proper plan from Nrb county government is an idiotic and mindless act, for sure they need to decongest the city for the rich to enjoy but with a better plan to come up with a solution, the work of any leader is to give directions and solutions , and if not he/she is not fit to be a leader he’s only a dictator and a cruel person who doesn’t care. But what I know when poor cry God make rich also cry Before Him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by Him as worthless and less than nothing. To whom, then, will you compare God? What image will you compare Him to?” (Isaiah 40:17,18 ),” wrote Pastor Migwi in part.

Adding that;

“The is are some of questions are in my mind , ok matatu are banned to enter town center, many Kenyans don’t own personal car, what about the disabled, sick ones and the aged ones ,, Your government has brought nothing but sorrow.how does someone working in westlands and lives in Nairobi eastlands commute to work given he is dropped in muthurwa and has to go to ngara.how does a person working on Mombasa rd commute when living in along Thika road yet they are the majority working population that support the same city that’s tearing them into pieces .Did we elect leaders or primary school prefects , God can punish this nation and it’s leadership for less caring.

City preacher has sent a strong message to president Uhuru Kenyatta as he joined other African leaders in Beijing, China for the 2-day annual Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) which kicked off on September 3rd.

Bishop Godfrey Migwi of House of Hope in Nairobi warns Uhuru against taking loans from China, the preacher says China is practicing debt colonization by giving poor countries more money than they could ever pay back.

Already Chinese president Xi Jinping has pledged an extra $60 billion or Kes 6 trillion to Africa. Uhuru is seeking a further 380 billion shillings from China for the construction of Phase 2A of the Standard Gauge Railway from Naivasha to Kisumu.

Migwi highlighted instances where some countries were forced to surrender their assets to China after failing to pay debts. He mentioned Sri Lanka which formally handed over the strategic port of Hambantota to China on a 99-year lease in December 2017 after struggling to replay loans.

The city preacher thinks China is salivating after the ports of Mombasa and Lamu and that they will give Kenya massive loans which the country will fail to pay and in return give up the ports of Lamu and Mombasa.

City pastor calls on president Uhuru to compensate his family and other Kenyans who consumed poisonous sugar

Godfrey Migwi wants justice for Kenyans who have been victims of corruption cartels. This follows recent revelation by Interior CS Fred Matiangi that Kenyans have been consuming contraband sugar which contain poisonous substance.

The pastor who ministers at of House of Hope in Kayole, stirred social media when he said president Uhuru Kenyatta had failed to protect Kenyans.

“In the fight against corruption and illegal trade, then there is always a lot of big talk but very little action.
We appreciate the president’s call for a revolution but I’m afraid that’s not enough , he has to do more in his final term . We lined up to vote for him and he swore to us that he would protect us, for heaven sake this illegal trade and corruption must be stopped to save kenya

“I’m specifically alarmed by the poisonous sugar that my family unsuspectingly being partaking in our home. The same sugar that is in yours and the harmful effects it has on our lives. Matiang’i himself who represents the government admitted that this sugar is capable of causing death due to the elements of mercury and copper contained in it,” wrote Godfrey Migwi in part.

Justice for Kenyans

Pastor Migwi further calls on the president to ensure that all Kenyans who consumed the poisonous sugar are compensated.

“Medical research has shown that these elements have fatal consequences on our nervous, digestive and immune systems. Inorganic salts in mercury for example eat away the skin, eyes, stomach and even kidneys eventually leading to death. Which begs the question? How many of us have already being consumed by these products? How many are on the verge on being consumed and they don’t even know it? So many Kenyans are in the grave,

“Government officers sign deals with cartels on daily basis for sure Kenya is under siege , oh my God who will save poor Kenyans.It’s about time we as Kenyans came forth and demanded for justice. We need to confront the government and present evidence and cases of people who have been seriously affected by this sugar and other fake commoditiesWe need to show the government and the world just how dire this situation is and why drastic action needs to be taken.

“The government also needs to compensate ALL OF US for allowing this sugar to find its way into our homes and for failing to perform its most important duty of protecting the people! The duty of any government is to protect its people. Female students at Moi Girls’ Kamusinga School in Bungoma County and Moi Girls’ School in Nairobi were raped in separate incidents that left Kenyans with many unanswered questions.

On Saturday June 2nd a 15-year-old Form Two student at Moi Girls’ School Nairobi was was assaulted and defiled when she went to the washrooms at 2am. Police have since collected DNA samples from all male teaching and non-teaching staff living in the school for forensic analysis.

On Sunday June 3rd a 14-year-old Form Two student at Moi Girls’ Kamusinga was raped by a teacher, the girl said a classmate informed her that the teacher summoned her to his office and on arrival he raped her.

Pastor Godfrey Migwi of the Hope Church notes that witchcraft practices are to be blamed for the surge in rape incidents in high schools.

Migwi explains that most teachers practice witchcraft for several reasons including job security, blocking transfers and healing diseases. The preacher says some teachers rape virgin students because they believe by doing so they will get healed of diseases like HIV.

“Good morning Kenyans , Pray for our schools all is not well and the bible says in the book of Ezekiel 13:10 “‘This is because they have led my people astray saying, “All is well,” when things are not well. When anyone builds a wall without mortar, they coat it with whitewash , so it’s wrong to say all is well when things are not well or there is peace when there is no peace.

“In our schools witchcraft is exercised, there is wicked evil spirit’s in our schools many head teachers, principles and their deputies excise Witchcraft that’s why we always hears bad and strange news in our schools, strange Fires, strange sickness , children’s being raped, demons attacking our children’s even as we are speaking many student are at home ,

“One day a school worker called me narrating one incident, he saw a principle of that school at night with mganga doing some weird things, to make it short some principles go to wagangas and wagangas visits our schools reasons not to be transfered, to control other teachers and everything in school, in our school’s many teacher’s practices gayism and lesbianism with our children’s, others teachers after realising they’re h.i.v + their wagangas advice them to sleep with virgins to be healed so they choose to rape our innocent children’s,

“My advice to prayers warriors pray for our schools, to the government vet our teachers and give students a chance to expose them there so many untold stories in our schools , then make it a must for every school to install CCTV cameras, God please hide our children’s we pray and believe Amen,” Pastor Godfrey Migwi explained.

City pastor Godfrey Migwi is concerned about how politicians are taking Kenyans for a ride for their own gain. The House of Hope Church founder cautioned the deputy president against riding on the ‘hustler’ tag to gain political mileage.

The evangelist says that ‘hustler’ is a term associated with poverty whereas politicians who want to be called ‘hustlers’ are stinking rich.

Migwi further says that referring Kenya as a country of hustlers is like condemning the whole country to doom. He asserts that God has good plans for Kenya and its people and as such Kenyans shouldn’t allow to be called a country of hustlers.

“Hello Kenyans and good morning , already in the house God as I write this, the God I serve ministered to me , Kenyan’s don’t allow politician’s to name our blessed country hustlers Nation, they’re not hustlers they want to own us, they want to baptize Kenya as the land of Hustlers, if you name it you own it already, again hustlers is the Name associated with poverty and prostitution it’s not good name to call a blessed country like kenya, we are blessed land we are blessed people, we refuse our blessed country to be baptized politically in dirty poverty water,” wrote pastor Migwi.

Pastor Migwi also shared Bible verses to prove that there is power in a name. He says God Himself changed the names of some of his loyal servants including Abraham.

“Bible Verses why there is power in the #Name, God himself changed Abram to Abraham Sarai to Sarah Genesis 17:5 for them to be called His people and to use them even now we call Him God of Abraham, Jesus changed killer and terrorists Saul to Paul act 13:9 to own him for the sake of His own Gospel , then Adam named eve to wo-man after she was created to own her Genesis 2:23 , to own something you must name it first , many don’t know why wives changes their names to be called their husband name it’s a matter of owning, your childrens ,car, shamba, plot has your name, #power in the name,..God bless Kenya,” wrote Pastor Migwi.

Torrential rains continue to pound several many parts of the country causing floods, destruction of property and displacement of thousands of people.

Several Kenyans have died since the heavy rains started in early March. House of Hope Church pastor Godfrey Migwi attributes the flood disaster to president Uhuru’s failure to heed calls for a national thanksgiving.

Pastor Migwi says the president led Kenyans in a national prayer for a peaceful election, and after the election the country simply moved on and forgot to thank God.

“Hello Kenyans being one you this the message, for sure and I know everyone knows God really need special thanksgiving day, He is waiting for our country thanksgiving sacrifice country wide directed by the president himself , 1, it will be part of National healing, 2, it’s a sin not to give thanks to the Lord if He has done great,
Remember just 5 months back we were crying to God to give us peace, president directed all Kenyans to cry for the Lord because the country was burning and headed to wrong direction , tribe’s were divided religious leaders were carried away by political wind, but after winning this battle through prayers and fasting no one seem to care about God. Now it’s business as usual, Governor’s misusing county money #its our time to eat,Doctors mistreating patients, students #ifikiewazazi, eating, sex and polygamy is what in the mind of Kenyans , #handshakepolitics #2022politics, succession politics, referendum debate, woi Ngai,” wrote Pastor Godfrey Migwi.

Special thanksgiving day

Pastor Migwi implores president Uhuru and his government to once again lead Kenyans in a national thanksgiving prayer. He says the country’s problems can only be solved through interdenominational prayers.

“Please Mr President with all due respect Uhuru Kenyatta, deputy President William Samoei Ruto Office of the President – State. Harambee House, give directions to all Kenyans to set one special thanksgiving prayer day, remember this is not a one religion duty or any denomination , it’s not about big men’s and women’s of God, major or minor prophets, kadhis, Bishops or Fathers, vichas or deacons or pastors it’s about God and God alone He is the one only to receive this honor and praises

“Many may slap me the way prophet Micaiah was slapped by prophet Zedikiah for speaking the truth but it’s ok, some can argue and say any preacher or denomination can arrange thanksgiving to their congregations sawa, but that not the way, the same president that gave directions and he himself prayed , he is the one to give directions to preachers, leaders and all Kenyans to give God thanks wherever they’re ,

“With a lot of pain in my heart tears in my eyes knowing what God did to our lovely nation I have done my part , shalom, shalom as we obey the voice of most High God if not consequences may follow, God bless Kenya,” wrote pastor Godfrey Migwi.

After city pastor predicted Babu Owino’s fate, the politician loses his Embakasi East seat!

Babu Owino has lost his Embakasi East seat after the Nairobi High Court nullified the 2017 August election results.

This was announced early Friday morning after Justice Joseph Sergon made his ruling. Babu Owino’s win had been challenged by Francis Mureithi who had given sufficient reasons to warrant a recount.

The court ordered a recount of votes in the entire constituency; and now Babu Owino’s win has been nullified after IEBC presented the results in accordance to the law.

This comes a few weeks after Pastor Godfrey Migwi of the House of Hope church came out to say that Owino’s career was out to be ruined. According to the pastor he felt that there was a plot to sabotage Babu Owino’s political career by the same people the young man was working with.

Babu Owino has now been ordered to pay Ksh 2.5 million to Francis Mureithi; and the other Sh2.5 million to the electoral commission.
Through his Twitter page he however wrote saying;

Popular City pastor, Godfrey Migwi of House of Hope Church has come out to urge president Uhuru Kenyatta to release prisoners who he claims have reformed or have been sentenced unfairly.

The pastor who has been very vocal in the past few months said this through his Facebook page attracting hundreds of comments from Kenyans following him on his social media pages.

In his post Pastor Migwi went on to say that he has had the chance to minister and mingle with some prisoners and so far has learnt that some of them did not received justice due to corruption and bribery. He wrote saying;

“I do a lot of work with prisons and there are horror stories of unfairness and injustices in these places. “People with good hearts were put into this spaces because of corruption and money exchanging hands. Some of them may have committed atrocities in the past but they have since repented and they should be given another chance to make right of their lives,”

Pastor Migwi went on to say that since they have reformed – some of these prisoners should at least be pardoned and sent out to mix with the public in order to see whether they indeed learnt from their mistakes.

“Your government can create a system where these people report to the chiefs and other institutions of authority to ensure they are behaving and if they dare go against the rule of law, then they should be taken back to prison,”

Though this may sound like the perfect idea, it is quite hard to determine whether our government is in a position to pull such moves…but hopefully everything will turn out just fine since a mistake is never a mistake until repeated twice!

City Pastor Godfrey Migwi has lately been sharing political posts educating his followers on what is happening in the world especially now that Kenyans are waiting to vote for their president, come October 20^th.

From most posts you will learn that he has been preaching peace and unity among the different tribes in the country. The pastor has also been on the verge of making sure that these politicians don’t use the common mwanaichi to play their dirty games that will one way or another affect them in the future.

There have been many opinions shared by Kenyans since the elections were announced on Friday night. However, many have chosen to continue with their normal lives as bills have to be paid at the end of the day.

But with the tension building here and there I must admit that most Kenyans are living in fear as no one knows what plans our politicians have.

Yesterday, during their first meeting held after the elections – some of the NASA members encouraged their supporters to Boycott work something that has raised a stir among many.

Popular city pastor who seems to have been angered by the statements made by Raila Odinga and his members. According to pastor Godfrey Mwigi, these politicians sit and dine with each other but when campaigning they end up turning Kenyans against each other something that is hypocritical and against the Bible! A family in Wanjerere, Kagema is said to have been going through a hard time after their home was possessed by demons which were not allowing them to live in peace.

Apparently these demons burnt down three of their houses and all their belongings leaving the family stranded.

Word has it that the family tried not only seeking help from the villagers but also the police. However, none of them came to their rescue as they all feared being caught up in the mess that would have probably costed them their homes or lives.

The DO, Chief and assistant chiefs were among those who distanced themselves from this situation as it had been happening for sometime now. They however resulted to seeking help from City pastor by the name of Godfrey Migwi from the House of Hope church Kayole who at last stepped in to help after they contacted him, hoping that he would cast out the demons bringing destruction to this family.

From the photos we can clearly see the shocked Villagers watching from a distance as the pastor and his team offered prayers of deliverance to the family. Well, word has it that the family is now living a more peaceful life since pastor Godfrey Migwi came to their rescue. Below are some photos taken during the pastor’s visit to the village.
