Gospel singer Gloria Muliro seems to have found true love in her new husband, Pastor Evans Sabwami a mans she describes as the best thing that ever happened to her.
Well – if you remember a few years back, we all saw or rather heard of stories about Gloria Muliro hard marriage courtesy of her ex money loving husband, Pastor Omba; a man that truly never hid his true colors and even on interviews, he would mock her if not belittling Muliro who was his wife at the time.
However in 2021, the lady finally exchanged vows with Evans after months of secretly dating and loving abroad – since it is said the fella has a church ministry in the US.
1st wedding anniversary

Happiest Anniversary my best friend, my moshene partner, my husband. Your love is a gift that I open every day. Here’s to you, here’s to us, and here’s to many more happy years together. Happy anniversary hun! I love you.
Evans on the other hand through his Facebook page celebrated their marriage in a post saying;
Happiest Anniversary my love, my friend, my queen. You are the best gift God ever gave me. Every day with you has been a joy, every minute a pleasure, every moment a delight.
Gloria Muliro is in love and she cannot hold herself back from telling the world. After close to 4 years since parting ways with popular controversial pastor Omba; looks like love has once again smiled down on Gloria Muliro- who now has a new man.
The popular singer introduced her new man through her IG page; showering with nothing but love for being her friend, lover and above all – the love of her life. Gloria revealed this in a caption where she wrote;
#ANATENDA
Happy Valentine’s Day to my best friend, the most important man in my life, My heart’s safe place, my reason for celebrating this day. I love you Ev
Judging from the caption above, it’s only fair to see that love is in the air; and Gloria Muliro wouldn’t trade it for anything else.
Childlessness
Although cheating is one of the main reasons why Gloria walked out on her ex, pastor Omba; rumor also has it that not having a child also contributed to the separation.
Not that it is any of our business but hopefully things will soon be working out for Gloria; and the new man warming her bed. But all in all, fans are quite impressed with Muliro’s new lover – and we cannot wait to see photos of them together.
Gloria Muliro is among the top celebrated gospel artists in Kenya! Her name is always mentioned when it comes to mentioning female artists with angelic voices!
Her life has however not been so smooth as she divorced the love of her life a few years back; after her ex husband, Pastor Eric Omba chested on her.
Speaking during a recent interview the singer revealed that divorce is an ugly experience that she wouldn’t wish on anyone. Well, this is because things get ugly, verbal fights and to some extent hatred is created!
Gloria Muliro’s Private life
After disappearing from the entertainment industry for about 2 year, Ms Gloria Muliro is back!
However most of her fans have been questioning whether she moved on with her life or is still stuck in the passed! When asked whether she is in a relationship during the interview, the singer responded saying;
Let me not talk about that. When I am ready to talk about that part of my life I will talk about it, but for now, I am not ready.
Upcoming projects?
She however went on to reveal where and what she was up to for the 2 years she has been absent.
According to Gloria Muliro, she has been traveling a lot to Europe and has also been in school hence her absence. She opened up saying;
I took a break because I have been travelling a lot.I have been doing international ministry in Europe and I also went back to school to stufy Theology, but this year I decided to balance everything – being in studio and in school. I released a new song three weeks ago called ‘Look to Jesus’ and I’m still in studio doing more projects.
Gospel singer Gloria Muliro has come a long way and is now ready to open up about her past life; that includes her weight loss journey, divorce and life after marriage.
Speaking to a popular Sunday Magazine, Gloria Muliro for the first time opened up about her battle with self esteem! Well, all women struggle with this at one point of their lives but when handled well everything works out just fine.
According to Gloria Muliro, she has been avoiding sugar for two years now and unlike before she now exercises for 30 minutes which has greatly contributed to her weight loss. About her self esteem issues, Gloria went on to say;
But I overcame by getting to know who I am in Christ and learning to love, appreciate and define myself. When I realised I don’t have to be what people think or say I am. I am who God says I am.
Divorce life
According to Gloria Muliro she has not been in a position where she feels comfortable discussing her divorce with Pastor Omba! She said:
“I don’t want to go into details because I think it has been many years and I have talked about it previously so I would not want to keep talking about it. What I would mention is that marriage is work and it is not one-sided work. It is a commitment between both people. If it is just one person working in the marriage, then it will not be stable,”
It takes two for a marriage to work
About why her marriage did not work, Ms Muliro made it know that it take two committed people to make a marriage work!
However this was not the same case when it came to her marriage and this is why both her and pastor Omba did not go far. But, through it all, divorce remains one of those struggles that catches a person unprepared! Gloria went on to say
No one looks forward to a divorce. I did not see it coming and when it came it was really unfortunate. But it is here. Will I stay down and hit myself and ask why I had to divorce? I did not want it to come to that but it did somehow. So life has to go on. The best I can do is be easy on myself.”
Now that she is a single woman, Gloria Muliro says she has no regrets since she did everything she could to save her marriage; but life seems to have had other plans for her!
“When you are at a place where you know that you did everything you could to make your marriage work and it did not, when you are sure that there was nothing else left for you to try because you did everything, if it still does not work you can’t blame yourself. I can only pat myself and say, ‘Well done, girl! You did your best!”
Gloria Muliro has revealed that she has been praying for Willy Paul especially now that he is currently doing secular music.
Speaking for the first time since Willy Paul quit gospel music; Gloria Muliro told Milele FM that she has been praying and hoping the young Willy Paul finds himself before it is late.
“Kama mama mzazi nampenda na bado namwombea,”
Gloria who has been missing in action for a while now said that despite everything; she still loves Willy Paul as a person and so does God.
But do I love him as a person? Yes. Na Mungu anampenda? Yes!”
Working with Willy Paul
When asked about working with Willy Paul, the female singer opened up saying that she would first have to talk to him before hitting the studios to release a new song.
Advice to the young people
According to Gloria Muliro most of these young celebrities on social media flaunt a fake lifestyle! Therefore Gloria Muliro’s advice to the young people is to keep still and accept themselves as they are instead of living a lie.
Wacha nikuambia, kila mtu ako special. Tofauti ni vile baadhi wetu wako kwa TV na kwa radio, tunaonekana. Lakini hakuna haja kujiweka mahali ambapo hauwezi kusustain.
She went on to conclude saying;
Ni vizuri niwaambie hao vijana, ishi tu maisha yako; kiwango chako. Of course baraka zinakuja. Mungu hutuinua viwango. Ni vizuri kuishi kile kiwango unaweza, halafu ukiaminia Mungu kukusongesha kiwango kingine.
Multiple award-winning gospel artist Gloria Muliro has stunned us with new song dubbed “Look to Jesus’.
Gloria Owendi Muliro aka Gloria Muliro is a Kenyan Gospel Musician who was born and raised in Emuhaya Western part of Kenya.
Gloria is celebrated for amazing music for a while now. She has been in the gospel industry long enough to manifest the truth about the Kenyan gospel music scene.
Well, this time she brings us a purely English song, which makes it easy for most of us to understand.
Look to Jesus
In this brand new jam, Gloria encourages his audience to trust in Jesus. For believers, we know that Jesus is the son of God and the ultimate giver of life.
According to the bible in the book of Hebrews 12:2 the bible states:
Look to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Whether she got the inspiration from this verse or not, Gloria’s lyrics call upon humanity to believe that Jesus is the answer to all problems.
Further on you get that she incorporated several verses too. We can see where she says “All things are mine in Christ, I believe, I receive….”
These were adopted from the book of Mathew 21:22, Andwhatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.
In her lyrics, it is the affirmation of believing in Jesus in whatever issues she has.
There isn’t much to tell but the simplicity of this song makes it a go-to jam in times of praise and worship.
What I mean is this is now music you can have in church without doubting the content and context.
The likes of you know who need lessons from Gloria.
Watch the video and tell us what you think. Blessings y’all!
Gloria Muliro’s hubby Pastor Eric Omba is still insisting he didn’t cheat on his ex-wife despite what she claimed.
Muliro said that the reason why she walked away from Omba is because he was cheating and had taken another woman as his wife.
The two dated several years ago but after the marriage collapsed, they moved on and are now in with new partners.
“She had no pictures or evidence nor did any other woman come out to say that I was dating her,” she said.
Rush
Omba added that rushing to marriage might be a reason why the two parted ways.
It is good to get to know a person well before you get married to them. My marriage to Gloria took seven months. (engaging and marrying her). I was not young and I was not foolish when I decided to stay with her I knew marriage will work. It was not on a trial and error basis, even god knows I am telling the truth.
I honestly feel like Kenyan gospel musicians are deep in slumber. I’m saying this because I feel that the gospel industry is not as vibrant as it was a few years ago. I feel like it has stagnated.
If you are an avid fan of Kenyan music then I’m sure you remember how the gospel industry was big five to ten years ago. Can you?
The gospel industry was so enormous so much so that secular artists were almost unheard of, no one even cared about them or what they were up.
The biggest song in the country at any given time was from the likes of DK Kwenye Beat, Juliani, Willy Paul, M.O.G, Benachi, Daddy Owen, Bahati, Gloria Muliro, Eunice Njeri, Mercy Masika etc.
I don’t know what happened but somewhere along the way, the secular industry overtook took over. We can debate about this until the come home but deep down you also know that this is a fact.
The gospel music is not what it was five to ten years and this begs begs the question, are Kenyan gospel musicians asleep, did they get too comfortable or are they just lazy?
I know it’s not a competition between the two sides. After all, they are all Kenyan. As a Christian, it just gives me comfort when the gospel industry is at the top.
Don’t get me wrong, I listen to a lot of secular music. Yup! From Sauti Sol to Ethic, anything goes. I have nothing against secular musicians.
It’s just I really miss that days when gospel music was the order of the day. Those days when gospel gigs had the biggest crowds. The days when gospel musicians were really praising God with music.
This is a clarion call to all Kenyan gospel musicians. Enough said!
46 Kenyan gospel musicians and cultural artistes are leaving for Europe on a state-sponsored tour, and Atheists in Kenya are having none of it.
The group was flagged off at the ministry’s headquarters by Principal Secretary of Culture and Heritage Josephta Mukobe.
The ten-day state-sponsored European tour is meant to showcase Kenya’s culture and christian songs. Gloria Muliro, Eko Dydda, Janet Otieno, Anastacia Mukabwa, Kayamba Africa are some of the musicians who are part of the team flying out.
The group will tour Sweden, Germany, France and Switzerland where they will stage town hall and open-air concerts. They are slated to fly out on August 21st.
The tour goes against the spirit of constitution
Atheists in Kenya have voiced their concern over the state-sponsored tour. In a statement issued by its president Harrison Mumia, the non-believers claim the government is favoring Christians.
“We are concerned at how the state has in recent past treated Christianity with privilege and made the Christian belief a social norm in Kenya. The state should end marginalisation of atheists and members of other religions through institutional religious discrimination. The tour which is meant to showcase Kenya’s culture, goes against the spirit of our constitution, which establishes Kenya as a secular and religiously diverse nation,” read the statement in part.
Atheists call on the government to re-constitute the team that will be traveling to Europe.
“We urge the ministry to re-constitute the team that will visit Europe so that those who adhere to non-Christian beliefs form part of the team.”

Singer Gloria Muliro is now ready to start a new chapter of her life years after divorcing pastor Omba. The two split 4 years ago due to some family issues that included infidelity from the popular past.
This left the two washing their dirty linen in public, something that forced Gloria Muliro to lay low for a while. Her ex husband on the other hand was out to capture the attention of bloggers as he was linked to yet another woman who gave birth to his first child.
Well, it may seem fast but yes…pastor Omba moved on immediately after his split with Gloria Muliro and surprisingly he has since maintained a low profile.
Ready to settle down again
Gloria Muliro however has taken about 4 years to get over her past marriage and all the drama it came with. Speaking recently during an interview, the lady is said to have confirmed about her plans to settle down.
However she does not expect everyone to support her decision since not everyone understands where she coming from.
“People may criticise from afar but they have no idea what I was going through. Only the few people in my circle know and can tell.”
She concluded by adding;
“It has been a challenge and a learning process. Through it all, I have learnt a lot of lessons. It wasn’t easy,”

Gloria Muliro ready to settle down again
Her mum’s post comes a few days after the gospel singer is said to have revealed that she is finally ready to settle down.
According to the stories making rounds on social media – Gloria Muliro says that she is now over her broken marriage to pastor Omba and is ready to settle down.
It is unclear as to whether she is in a relationship or engaged to a new man but fans have been wishing her all the best on her new plans.
Gloria Muliro divorced pastor Eric Omba in 2015 citing domestic violence and infidelity. The flourishing gospel songstress has now been single for two long years.
Many people were taken by surprise when Gloria Muliro walked out of her 5 year marriage. But the things she accused Eric Omba of doing were the real shocker.
Daddy Owen advises Gloria
Daddy Owen shared marriage advice while speaking in a recent interview with a local daily. Papa Fololo says Gloria Muliro should remain single for the rest of her life.
For starters, Daddy Owen has only been a married man for one year. The gospel singer married Faridah Wambui sometimes in April 2016.
The ‘Jumapili’ hit maker explains that is not proper for a gospel musician to remarry again once they divorces. Daddy Owen says that Gloria Muliro should remain single until death.
“If a gospel singer’s spouse dies, one can remarry because it was not their decision for that to happen but when one divorces, that one should never marry because it was their decision like the case Gloria Muliro, she should not go back to being married. You should stay like that till you die,” Daddy Owen said.
Gospel singer Gloria Muliro has been living the life now that she is divorced and is fully focused on her career. For the past few years she has been releasing her music and avoiding any confrontation with the media – and I bet this is why many don’t even know what she has been up to.
Anyway, just recently I happened to come across some of her new photos that confirm that she has been adding some weight probably from living a stress free life unlike before when she was married to her ex husband, Pastor Omba.
I have compiled some of her photos from 2013 to 2015 when she still rocked her petite body and her latest photos showing her weight gain over the past two years. Looking at them, it is clear to see that despite the weight gain, she continues to maintain her stylish looks just like before.
Ringtone and Gloria Muliro have collaborated to drop a new song that has been described as ‘marvelous’ by most people.
Ringtone knows the trick to creating hit songs with the artistes he choses to work with for collabo songs; he did it with Christina Shusho and guess what, ‘Tenda Wema’ is still a banger to date.
The next collabo saw Ringtone work with Gloria Muliro – another gospel music heavyweight who boasts of multiple hit songs.
The two singers dropped a song dubbed ‘Wacha Iwe’ some six days ago and it’s already moving up the charts, the song is currently trending on 42nd spot on YouTube.
Kenyans have lauded Ringtone for droping a new song that is on point, the video is superb and the beat is also amazing.

Apparently Timmy got physical after suspecting that Kush Tracey was cheating on him with a politician. The rapper was roughed up after he beat Tracey at the club, and that marked the end of Timmy and Kush Tracey’s love story.
“There was some misunderstanding that took place outside 1824 that lead to Timmy getting physical with me and that made the taxi drivers outside 1824 take part and try stop him. However I forgive him and am moving past that. The love affair with Timmy is no more only entertainment business aye!!” Kush Tracey said following the altercation at 1824.
