Weuh! Former singer Marya claps back at fan who body shamed her over this photo

Back in the day, let’s say around 2005 to 2010 some artists like Marya; the singer behind hit songs like Chokoza and were the real deal in the music industry.

Marya and the likes of Avril gave young girls sleepless nights; and back then, they were only spotted hanging out rich men with flashy lifestyles and nothing less.

However things for Marya changed after she dumped long term boyfriend Mustafa for a rich man named, Kevo; who had just divorced one of Mike Sonko’s relatives – so you can imagine how excited Marya was to bag such a guy.

Marriage turns sour

Just like most new couples, Marya and Kevo spent most of their dating life touring Dubai; and then boom baby happened before marriage changing everything between these two.

From what we know is that they had a bitter separation; that saw the two get nasty (like insults and mockery) on social media…Aki mapenzi wewe and that is how we lost Marya from the industry.

Apart from battling depression caused by her separation from baby daddy and motherhood; we also understand that Marya had to come into terms with her new body – that changed from a size 8 to almost size 16/18.

Trust me, that was a major change.

Trolls over the years

Well having given birth 4 years ago, Marya is still battling body trolls from fans who can’t seem to believe how much weight she put on after her first child.

Some characters here and there have been commenting on her current body; and trust me – most have nothing good to say. However as seen on one of her photos, Marya a few weeks back tackled a fun for umenona comment. The fan wrote;

????????????yaani ulikuwa unone hii yote?

To which Marya hit back saying;

Kunona ni free

Although change is inevitable, Marya’s weight for sure did surprise many. I mean who would have ever thought the petite singer would one day be so curvaceous? I didn’t!

Singer Kambua has not had it easy this year especially with loss of her newborn son; that saw her take a short social media break – but looks like she is back and better.

For the last few days Kambua has been quite active on her IG, sharing encouragement posts to uplift fans; and on the latest one she talks about relationships with mothers.

According to Kambua, she feels lucky to have an understanding, loving mother who has walked with her during some of her toughest moments. On this special post, Kambua for the first time – after a very long time unveiled one of her mums latest photos and boy is she fine like her daughter.

To caption the lovely post the gospel singer wrote;

Toxic relationships with mums

However, I understand that this post was also aimed at reaching out to fans; who have not had good relationships with their mums.

Addressing them on this same post, Kambua who was fortunate to grow up with a loving mum went on to add;

I am however aware that some of us here have not had good/great relationships with our mothers. I listened to a friend of mine on @unmotheringthewoman share her journey and experience with toxic motherhood. For some It’s physical abuse, or absentee mothers, others it’s navigating emotions like a minefield.

Although it’s not easy to find children beefing with their mums in most African homes; Kambua made it her duty to remind her fans the kind of power mums holds as she added;

Our mothers are so powerful- they have the ability to make or break us.

Well, it’s a good thing she is creating awareness for the silent ones who have had difficult relationship with their mums.

Comedian Mulamwah’s sweetheart Carol Sonnie just gave birth to her first child last month; but this hasn’t stopped her parading her stunning body on social media.

The 24 year old, made a comeback through her Instagram page with new photo flaunting her gorgeous slim thick body; which doesn’t look affected by the pregnancy hormones that tend to leave most mums fighting baby fat.

From the photo and video shared on her page, I can confirm that Carol Sonnie appears hotter than before; probably because she put on a few pounds – giving her previous skinny frame a little more meat.

Body goals

Unlike other celebrity mums who prefer to lay low for a couple of months; Sonnie seems to be energetic type that bounces back like nothing ever happened.

Anyway so far we can confirm Caroline Muthoni also has good genes that will pass down to daughter, Keilah; plus all the dancing she did while pregnant – might also come in handy someday for Mulamwah’s daughter.

Willy Paul responds to new sexual assault allegations made against him

Former gospel singer Willy Paul has now been accused of sexual assault by close to 6 women; who claim he took advantage of them or almost did, which by the way counts.

Well barely 3 months after Singer Miss P exposed Pozee for sleeping with her or rather taking advantage of her sexually; another popular face, NRG’s Atieno Nyardhudha has come forth to give her story.

According to the lady, she also suffered sexual assault while seeking a job at Willy Paul’s studio. This sad incident however happened when Atieno was only 19 years; an age where she probably felt embarrassed/afraid to talk or even worse – no one would have believed her.

Speaking about this, Ms Atieno Nyardhudha said;

Let me tell you what happened between me and Willy Pozee. You can’t call me, you say you want to work with me. I come to your studios, we are inside your studios and there is no network inside. I was naive, I was looking for a job, I had nothing. I was basically 19 or years old. You start touching me, telling me to touch you.

Of course with such accusations Willy Paul got learn about Ms Atieno’s story; and being the usual Pozee – the guy did not seem bothered nor sympathetic ~~of course he wouldn’t~~ but what he did was brag!

Willy Pozee accused of sexual assault by Miss P

As seen on a video shared on Sunday, 3rd October Willy Paul indirectly addressed Atieno and the rest; in a video where mocked the ladies accusing him of sexual assault saying;

The fight should be against poverty not Willy Paul.

And to prove how unbothered he is, Pozee went on to brag about a king saying;

I want people to succeed, even fellow artistes who send people to attack me, I still want to see them succeed.Why are you attacking someone who doesn’t have time for you. Someone who is not your equal? Even if I die, I will die a king and go with the title.

Well although it’s not my place to judge – but isn’t anyone worried about these cases?

Actor Lenana Kariba became everybody’s favorite after he replaced the late Kone Nouhoum in Swahili telenovela, Selina. His role was to play the part of Reagan, a brother to Nelson better known as Pascal Tokodi.

With such good looking actors on the same show; I’m pretty sure the directors of Selina knew what they were doing; and look – this show actually remains one of the most followed TV series in Kenya.

Anyway, back to Lenana Kariba. Well, having entertained many through several local series i.e Selina and Auntie Boss, a sitcom where he played the role of Lionel; there are many women who noticed the young star and kinda secretly wished they’d bag him.

Young actor off the market

However turns out that Lenana has been in a serious relationship with Mzungu bae; who he married this past weekend in a low key Caribbean wedding.

Having married his best friend, Lenana Kariba shared news of his wedding through his IG page as he wrote;

The two love birds have apparently been dating for a couple of years before they decided to take their relationship to the next level.

Their wedding however comes close to 3 years after Nick Mutuma settled down with Vridget Shighadi; Pascal on the other hand married Grace Ekirapa and now Lenana too has decided to quit the boys club.

Mr Seed finally addresses separation rumors with wife, Nimo

Mr Seed’s love boat has been quite shaky; and although he has been trying to convince us that all is well; I’m guessing that’s just part of the PR play. But oh well, if it helps him sleep better at night – then why not?

Anyway speaking during his album launch that went down this past weekend; Mr Seed for the first time opened up sharing the current nature of his relationship with wife, Nimo Gachuiri.

According to Mr Seed, his marriage is doing better than ever; and although there are rumors claiming wife has distanced herself after the Somali baby mama rumors; these are lies cooked to attack his family.

Speaking to popular news outlet the singer said;

I am a family guy and there are very few people who wish one well. Your enemies look for something to attack you with. It’s hard for us because the whole family is in the limelight.

My family is working together

With the infidelity story making rounds on social media every week thanks to his Somali ex bae; Mr Seed continues to insist that the reason he keeps getting attacked is because his entire family is in the limelight.

“Conje did not burn down her house” Carol Radull explains fire incident at former boxers home

On Friday 27th, August we woke up to news claiming that former female boxer Conjestina Achieng; had torched down her house due to frustrations of life.

Well, knowing very well that she hasn’t been mentally stable for a while now; bloggers and fans jumped on the story and just like that – it spread like wild fire all over social media.

However thanks to Carol Radull, a sports media personality who doubles up as Conjestina’s family friend; took to Instagram where she explained about the fire incident saying, the rumors were untrue.

According to Radull, the fire did not burn down Conjestina’s house but just a few clothes and personal items. The lady wrote;

I need to clarify a few things because of misinformation flying around.

Adding;

An accidental fire broke out in her house. Her clothes and some personal items got burnt. She raised the alarm and the fire was put out with minimal damage to her house. She is physically fine. Her house is standing and her medals that she treasures so much are intact.

Calls out well wishers for failing to deliver

Radull who is known to many also decided to use the opportunity to call out Hero’s Council who apparently promised to help Conjestina after leaving rehab; but as usual – they disappeared as soon as the media and blogs stopped writing about the boxer.

Addressing them through the same post, Radull went on to add;

While Conjestina Achieng is going through challenges after the Heroes Council promised her work after rehab last year but did not honour their promise… Conje did NOT burn down her house last night.
